Conklin Honda Hutchinson

No one ever calls you back-- worst customer service! We've gone in a couple of times and we can never come to agreement. Have always just taken our business somewhere else. We HAD TO use them a couple of times because they are the only Nissan place in town and do not recommend them at all!

Conklin is a good place to buy a Honda. We purchased several vehicles from this dealership over the years and generally come away feeling like we were treated with high regard. The sales staff is not to brash or overbearing. Finance department is efficient. The service department can be hit and miss. They are a descent shop for minor repairs, oil changes, brakes, and tire rotations. However they really push a lot of add on service work. Diagnosing more difficult problems can be taxing.Overall I recommend this Honda dealer.

Long story short, they didn't fix my issue and we're not much help. Long story longer I took my vehicle in to have the windshield camera calibrated due to having a new windshield put in. I was having issues with one of the safety features. They went and looked at the windshield and then said they'd let me know when it was done. I came back and the technician report said all is working correctly. I got in the car and drove a couple blocks, I was still having the same issue as when I took my car in. I returned to the service department and let the representative know. She returned to my car with me and let me know that it was likely because the incorrect windshield was put in originally. However, if that was known beforehand and it was known that the calibration would not have fixed the issue, that should have been communicated to me. Overall, everyone was pleasant and courteous, I just can't rate them any higher because I paid for them to service my vehicle and fix an issue and nothing was different from when I brought it in.

I just got a truck from them 5 months back and the fuel pump already busted they said they couldn't help plus they said I got 10 free oil changes and tire rotations so when I called to get one done the said it wasn't in my contract they are all liars and pieces of sh#*s

I went there to buy a 2018 GMC truck. I drove a little over an hour one way to the dealership. I test drove the truck and then started on the pricing. Their website had $13k in incentives but when we got to the offer, that wasn't reflected. Upon showing them what was on their site at that very moment, they informed me that it was the previous months incentive. There were 4 or 5 other trucks on their site that showed the same $13k incentive 6 days into the new month! Needless to say, we didn't reach an agreement. While the salesman was very nice, that is borderline deceptive advertising.

While traveling to Hutchinson I had a low tire pressure warning and stopped into Conklin Cars based on my past experiences with the service and dealership. A lady greeted me upon entry and directed two older gentlemen to add air to my tire. The pressure was down from 35 to 26. They added air to the tire and checked all the others (the other three were fine). Once the air and other tires were checked one of the gentlemen got down on his knees and put his ear up to the tire. I went on to visit family and friends for the next 6 hours. Once on my way back to Wichita the tire pressure notification came on with the pressure at 26. We scheduled an appointment with Eddy's in Wichita for the next morning where they discovered a nail in the tire. Conklin Cars service should have tried to determine if something was causing so much tire pressure loss instead of just adding air and putting ones ear to the tire.

I had been dealing with Conklin for a little over a week ironing out details on a vehicle purchase, after coming to an agreement i had called in the morning to start an application for financing in the morning to have ready when i could make it in in the afternoon, while already finished with our negotiations and agreed upon a price for the vehicle and for my trade in i was told that i would be able to get an appraisal for some damage the vehicle i was going to purchase had on it, after speaking with the salesman and being told that the appraisal was done i had made the drive from wichita to hutchinson to what i thought was to make the purchase of the vehicle sign paperwork for financing and to be able to look over the appraisal. No instead i was in a waiting room for over 30 min then i asked if i could look at the appraisal while i waited, i was then told after a 40 min drive and 30 min sitting in a waiting room that the appraisal was never done, i said ok maybe something was overlooked let's get it over there now. and then the sales manager came out and said that the body shop was closed. I don't know how most car dealerships work, but i have worked in sales for over 10+ years and i sure hope that these guys really learn how to treat customers or i would be very surprised if they remain open much longer. after all of the effort i put into trying to give them all plenty of time to try and get things ready for when i was going to get there to have nothing done and just completely waste my time and show no effort what so effort in trying to finalize a sale for the vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone to take their business elsewhere to a dealership that wants your business and will do something as simple as doing what they say they will and standing by what they say rather than saying that they will do certain VERY simple tasks and allowing you to believe it to then when push comes to shove there was nothing but empty promises. I wish i could give a negative rating but it's ok i got more vehicle with less miles and paid less than what was agreed upon anyways. so i am thankful the deal fell through. Don't deal with these people shop around you will find a better deal with honest people that actually want to sell vehicles.
