Every single tech on all sides go above and beyond there job responsibility and stays late along with comes in early! They work extra hard to make sure each vehicle that is worked on by any of there techs in any of the shops gets done in a timely manner correctly!! They price match jobs if you have another quote from different shop Dave who is the manger makes sure to price match the others!!! They have great car personals there!!! Everyone is super honest!!! Conklin Cars is an excellent car dealer for Buick, Nissan and Honda cars located in Hutchinson, KS. We purchased our Nissan here and bring it back for service, inspections and repair. The sales people are always friendly.This is, we feel, the best Nissan dealer in the state of Kansas. We have dealt with other Nissan dealers who are not as efficient, speedy and willing to please their clients . I wish I had never seen Conklin Honda.I had a small tear in my CV boot. I took it to this place. Spent $300 for "repairs" just before leaving town. Upshot: not only did I have to pay a mechanic in Texas to completely redo the work, but the Conklin mechanic tore a transmission seal that I also had to replace. There is another noise in the wheel that was not there before; we are in the process of trying to figure out whether Conklin's mechanic also screwed up the hub bearing, or what the cause of this new problem might be.Conklin was nonresponsive to inquiries. It took two weeks to even get to the point of verifying that they were not going to accept responsibility for a dime of this expense.This is the worst Honda dealer I have ever encountered. I am frankly surprised and disappointed that Honda Corp. even allows this sleazy joint to remain within its network.

They give us that small town service and fast reliable fair and efficient work. They are keeping us happy and traveling with confidence. Chris has become a friend as well as our favorite Service Writer.

The repair shop rocks!!! When the electrical system on my GMC camper van failed on a cross-country road trip, Aaron kept the shop open 2 1/2 hours after closing time while master technician Bill found and fixed the tricky isolator/alternator/battery problem. Got me back on the road and refused a tip, too. Heroes!

Completely dishonest sales. The cars they sell as "Certified" are all hiding huge problems --- that Conklin will then do everything possible to NOT pay for the problems that they PURPOSELY HID from the buyer. Do not trust these dishonest, selfish, greedy people. They are absolute crooks and should all be ashamed of themselves.

Unfortunately, I will not be visiting Conklin Motors in Newton, KS for service on my vehicles again. That is disappointing. Since moving to the area I have tried to find a trustworthy location to get my vehicles serviced. I was hoping a "dealership" would be that place.It is a simple thing, but service on vehicles is all about trust. It is always a struggle to find car businesses that will be honest in what they do - or don't do.I had the oil changed on my 2020 Ford Edge and I knew I had a low tire on the vehicle. Loses 4-5 pounds every 6 weeks. I asked the service tech that checked me in to please have the technician check the tire pressures all the way around (no rotation - just check tire pressures) and fill them accordingly. She said, "that was always included in their 17-point inspection, but that she would gladly write it on the sheet to make sure they take care of it."I got the oil changed, and as I went to pay, I asked the kind young lady if they checked the air pressures and was assured they had as "everything checked out great". As I am driving home I check the pressures on my vehicle and all 4 tires were the exact same as they were when I went in...one tire still 5 pounds low. So I waited and checked again later - still the same thing. I even checked them with my tire gauge - still 5 pounds low.So, unfortunately, if they cannot be honest with me in the small things, I do not know how I could trust them with the big things. Did they really change that belt, or just tell me they did? Did they replace that part, or just tell me they did? Does that part really need to be replaced, or do they say it does? Like I said, it is something simple, but trust goes a long way. So I will be looking for another place to get my vehicles serviced. Disappointing!

Veterans Beware - DO NOT BUY FROM HEREI have waited a long time to write this review. I wanted to give myself time to cool off before responding. But as time goes on, I find that the service we received from Conklin staff was reprehensible and I am not really going to get to a state where I am ok with it.I met with Conklin sales person over a year prior to purchase and told him of my intentions to buy two vehicles from Conklin. I explained to him what I was going to purchase and an approximate time frame of when that would occur. I explained to him in great detail that the CRV hybrid would be a present for my wife and she would not know about the gift. Since the vehicles didn't come at the same time (due to supply chain issues) it wouldn't be a surprise any more but, it would still be a gift for my wife. I kept the salesman well informed and reminded him that this was a gift for my wife.When we came to pick up the first vehicle (Ridgeline Black Edition) I inquired about the veteran's discount and the loyalty discount, the sales manager and salesman BOTH said Conklin doesn't offer those. Maybe they do, maybe they don't but when I called Honda USA, they said they did.A couple of months later when we came to pick up the CRV Hybrid. The salesman became ruder when I inquired about the veteran's discount and the loyalty discount again. In front of my wife (which this vehicle was a present for) he stated this is the price we have lots of people that want it. Either take it at the full price or I will sell it to someone else. There is a long line of people that will buy it.It was completely discourteous to say this in front of my wife, knowing full well this was a gift to her. It was the most disgusting exchange of words I have ever witnessed. Additionally, telling me that they would not offer me a veteran's discount or a loyalty discount again after Honda USA said they should have and I paid the full unnegotiated price on the Ridgeline was completely inappropriate.After the sale the salesman came out to the vehicle to help us set up the amenities of which he knew NOTHING about, thus wasting more of our time.Conklin's disregards veterans and loyal customers.After purchasing several vehicles from Conklin's, I will never buy another one.

So we bought a car from here about 2 months ago. It was terrible. It was in the shop for repaired more than more often than it was in our possession. He didn't even get it registered before we found it out needed a new engine. A few days ago I called and spoke with the general manager and asked him if we could choose a different car. He said YES! They let us test drive a different car over the weekend and we signed the papers today! They bought back the other car for what we paid, and refunded or warranty. Now we have a safe reliable car that we have confidence in. Thank you so much, Brandon and Conklin Cars! We'll definitely be back!

I used the Conklin Motors Rental Service in Newton, KS. I was pleased with the service, ease of rental and the way the Chevy Equinox drove. HOWEVER, the car smelled like CIGARETTE SMOKE! I had it for 5 days (2 long travel days) and was coughing and wheezing the whole time. I kept the windows down when I could. People commented that I smelled like smoke just from being in the car short times.
