Dr. Hesse has always helped my animals in need for check ups and surgery. I've also had a lady once and she was so nice as well and I also liked her too. They always recognize me and my pets when I walk in and are very friendly staff. I trust them with my fur babies all the way! My mom even goes there as well. I'm very thankful for Dr. Hesse saving my cats life. Thank you for your amazing staff, I appreciate you all! I even buy my pets food from there and my pets fur coats have never looked better. No more throwing up and have also skimmed down a little. One was a little over weight.

I had to take my dog to a vet for an emergency on a day when her normal vet was closed. I called around and decided to take her to College Hill Animal Hospital. The service was fine, and they took care of my dog, but there is currently a pandemic and they're not really taking precautions as seriously as they should. This is concerning since their facility is small and doesn't give you ample space to distance. They did have signs up telling people to wear masks and when I went inside I initially saw two people - one in a mask and one (the main receptionist) with a mask on her chin. When she noticed I had a mask on and was hesitant to come to the counter, she pulled it up to wait on me. While I waited, other customers came in, mostly in masks. But, one person came in who wasn't wearing a mask, and no one said anything to her. The person who came to take my dog back had a mask on, as did the vet and a few techs that I saw. It's disappointing that they aren't reminding customers to put masks on and that they're allowing their receptionist to be lazy about hers. (If anyone should be wearing a mask it's her, she's in contact with everyone who comes in.) When I picked my dog up, she still had the mask on her chin, and this time didn't pull it up. I didn't even approach the counter, I just stayed back and waited for my dog. While I waited, she served customers with her mask on her chin. Then, as the icing on the cake, the teenage girl who brought my dog out didn't have a mask on either. I really liked the location and had hoped to make this her new vet, but I don't think that I'll be back due to this.

I definitely recommend them 100% they helped my kitten, they treated him very well, they were very understanding with us and they explained everything to us, their prices are affordable, but above all they have a lot of human quality

I will be looking for a new backup vet office. I called two days in advance and was told to come in on Saturday as a walk in and the vet would be happy see our dog. We arrived in-between the specific time we were given. We were 4th in line to check in however when I went to check in our dogs I was greated with snarkiness and attitude from the receptionist. She stated we can't see your dogs without immunization records. My org vet has them on file yet they are closed on Saturday and booked till late next week. That is why I came to the backup vet. The receptionist not only wouldn't take down the exact date we had them vaccinated but started raising her voice to me. If the receptionist was so damn concerned about my dogs shots why do they not tell everybody that calls to bring this with you at your appointment. Snarky receptionist could have even suggested that we can update the shots needed while in office today so we can treat my dogs. So now that we have to wait until Monday to get a appointment with our original vet causing my dogs to suffer longer with their issues we could have been seen for. I will never take my animals to this so called ER vet again! The rudeness and lack customer care and the refusal to help an animal in distress. I would hate to think about how they would treat a Emergency patient especially one that it's owner in a panic or rushed the animal in without grabbing documents that are not listed in the website or verbally expressed until arrival. Wasted my timeWasted my gasAnd left my animals untreated in distress

This place should be shut down and the vets practicing here need to be investigated as it's hard to believe they have the proper education and licensing to be doing this profession. They charge insane amounts of money for the wrong type of care and do NOTHING to help your animal. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they falsified their accreditation and are nothing more than frauds. Please go out of business and stop harming our community.

I don't normally write reviews on Yelp, but when I do, it's either really good service, or really bad. Today, I took our Shiba Inu in to get his nails trimmed because he's very concerned about his paws. This about the third time we've taken him in for a nail trim and the previous times we're no problem. Today Dr Catherine helped me and she couldn't seem to get my dog to cooperate. The other vet here never had an issue. Today she asked me if this is my "first Shiba Inu" and I said yes. She said that it should be my last because she didn't like the breed. So she doesn't like my dog. I will never take my dog to her again. I like the other doctor, but not her. In the future if I go back, we will make an appointment with the other doctor. They have walk-in Saturdays without appointment but the staff apparently doesn't like it. And her business card says special interest - feline medicine. Figures.

My vet's office is closing so I had to find a new vet. I was disappointed that this office is allowing people to enter the building and also not following CDC recommendations for Covid-19. No less than 3 people from the back office came to the front office with no mask while I was filling out paperwork. I asked to speak to the Dr and he came out to greet me with his mask under his nose. Also no 6 foot rule. I took my dogs and went home, found a new vet already so I guess it was worth it. Your vet should care as much about your health as they do your pets.
