Growing up in Wichita, Clifton Square was always a charming part of College Hill...which is the most charming part of Wichita. I'm biased, but I think fairly valid in this statement. At various periods in it's long history, this charm was only really because it is physically cute: (local businesses within historic homes, brick walkways, etc.) In the last few years, Clifton Square has become so much more special because of the quality of businesses within it. It now houses local restaurants (all of which are excellent), a speak-easy, gift stores, an old fashioned ice cream parlor, a day spa, and various 'activity' businesses including Escape the Room Wichita. There is even a cold-pressed juice store, which is especially adorable-housed in a hobbit hole (for lack of a better term:) on the side-street of one of the front buildings. I haven't lived in Wichita since high school, but I couldn't be more pleased that, after years of not meeting it's potential, Clifton Square is finally as awesome as it was always meant to be!

This place is great, they have everything! There is great pizza and ice cream, and am excellent gluten free bakery. They also have a great hair salon (color bar salon) and a spa right next to it. This is a fun place that I would recommend that everyone tries out.

Dempsey's Burger Pub has recently opened there doors in Clifton Square. Big portions of whatever deliciously unique meal you decide to have! Nice ambiance and a decent selection of draft beer (esp. Guiness) down below in the pub. Enjoyable.

Clifton Square Shopping Village is a favorite for both locals and tourists. Cobblestone walkways line the path to multiple shops in converted 19th century structures. Gift shops, day spas, coffee shop, tea room, and other misc businesses are at home in Clifton Village.
