I ordered the hot chicken sandwich to-go, and I personally felt it was on the salty side.

Stop by this spot while in Wichita. It was a small togo place right beside the gun range. They had a couple of outside table. Got there about 11:30am and saw that nobody was there so couldn't tell if the place was open. Then the window open and a guy said may i take your order. He was really nice and explained the menu. I got the 2x2 with 2 wings and 2 tenders on a slice of bread and ordered a side of fries. I thought it came with a side but there was a 2.99 charge for it. Almost 19 bucks for the meal so i wouldn't say it's a good deal. I asked him what the level was and when does it gets really hot and he said 3 so i went with the 2 to be on the safe side.The wings were huge juicy and flavorful. Now the spice level was barely there so if you want some spice go with the 3. The tenders were season well but on the dry side. The fries were normal nothing special. I would go back for more wings but everything else was pretty normal. This is more of a 3.5 then a 3!

I ordered 3 chicken wings, a side order of fries, Cole slaw, and a Diet Coke...the bill came to over $21.00! This is at a place that's just a walk up window, with picnic tables outside to eat at. (It was 101 degrees that day, and it took over 20 minutes to get my food...oh, and they got my order wrong) Hey, the wings were very good, but not worth $21.00 at a place with no inside seating. Next time I'm in the mood for wings, I'll be back to Popeyes, where the same meal is around $6.00 less, and they have an inside dining room with AC!

you see that color? it's not red dye 40 like some of these OTHER places. that's seasoning baby. that's art. this is real food ova here! this is my second time at @chuckshotchickenkansas. the reason why you're just now seeing it is because i ate all the food before the picture the first time i ate here. that's how good it is. i ordered the 5 piece chicken tender with the level 2 heat. at chucks, you can choose your spice level up to 6 (they warn you to try 5&6 at your own risk ) 2 is perfect for that nashville chicken spice but if you're someone who thinks ketchup is spicy, go ahead and order that level 1 baby. you don't have to prove anything to anyone. tenders come with a sauce so i always get their chuck sauce! their buttermilk ranch is good too! their wings come with sliced white bread (like god intended) so i also ordered bread with the tenders! fries are crispy! probably the best i had at a chicken place. i love this place. i love the southside. if you one of those scary people who hate driving down seneca, this ain't for you!

Excellent flavor. Did level 2 heat and it was perfect spice and hotness. Kids did level zero and was really good. Breading reminded me of chick-fil-a. Staff was very friendly. Expect a small wait as they cook everything fresh and made to order. Portions were huge. Will definitely be going back. Once Wichita discovers this gem... it's going to be fire.

The best chicken sandwich in Wichita, possibly the world. First tried Chucks in August, and I've been addicted ever since. The hot chicken sandwich is a MUST TRY. Level three is where the spice really starts to show, so if you're not into spicy foods level 1 and 2 are great options. Get the sandwich with a scoop of slaw and you won't be disappointed. The fries are always cooked to perfection - literally some of the most perfect fries I've ever had. Sadly, they were out of fries on my last visit so I tried the potato salad and it was incredible. If you haven't tried this spot yet, do yourself a favor and go. I was sad to see only a few people had reviewed it so far. Friendly staff is able to give you great suggestions, and the wait time is small. Outdoor seating so go on a nice day or take it home to enjoy. I will be back again and again.

My husband and I wanted to branch out and try something new. No risk, no reward. Chucks delivered. We both got the chicken and waffles (he got level 3 and I got level 0). We could not stop talking about how good the chicken was, how well the sweet waffles complimented the chicken seasoning, and how the Chuck's sauce topped it all off.10/10 would recommend and we can't wait to go back and try more off the menu!

We haven't been in person but have ordered delivery, and WOW! Absolutely delicious! Chicken sandwich was excellent. The mild spice had a small kick to it--my husband liked it because he doesn't like hot, but spicy lovers should definitely go hotter. We tried the garlic cheese curds, corn fritters, coleslaw, mac & cheese, and potato salad. Everything was awesome. All dipping sauces were delicious. The potato salad was INSANE good.

Best fried chicken & waffles in town ! The chicken wings are huge. I had the level 3 spice on the chicken. It had some heat but not to overpowering. The chicken had a light breaded crispy skin and the meat was very moist. The waffles have a sweet taste, you don't really need the syrup. The gentleman at the window was very polite, and explained everything on the menu.
