Chuck's Bar

An interesting visit to Chuck's Bar. Not quite the same results as my stop in February. I did recommend this to our group because we had great service and good food!This time maybe a bit different. Our group of 8 started out with the Potato Skins and The Sampler! Both were very good and would definitely recommend!I chose the Whiskey Creek Burger as did two others in our group. The consensus / good burger but overcooked and not enough bbq sauce.Another chose the Leroy Brown, 2 more got Bacon Cheese Burger, another 1/2 Club - overall the lunch was well liked.Our server was great and she kept on top of everything. Doubtful our travels will pass through here again but if in the area it's a worthy stop!

Busy place but not a game day. The food was good but not as hot as it has been but the beer wasn't as cold as I like. We enjoyed our our meal but it wasn't 5 stars.

Definitely a dive bar and Definitely unfit for the show, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives!The waitstaff are surly and act like they're divas. If the kitchen decides they don't want to cook, forget food. Although they have multiple taps, they are often out of your first two or three choices.They offer specials that are generous in size but not in taste. It is not unusual to not get what you ordered.There are a couple of plusses. The have ONE waitress who is hardworking and hussles to get drink orders served and food orders out. The also have large beer mugs at a reasonable price (if your choice is available).Will not return.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to grab some grub. We walked into Chuck's bar and no host or hostess was ready to seat us. After walking up to one of the employees she made it apparent that we were bothering her and it would be at least a 45 minute wait until the kitchen opens. A good hostess or customer service experience in general would be, "Unfortunately the kitchen doesn't open for another 45 minutes but we have a bar that's open with games and puzzles in the next room." That was the answer I was expecting. Not a snobby response like "it's going to be 45 mins before you can be seated." ... Like let's try to keep the hungry customer inside the restaurant so we can make the sale and they can enjoy our delicious food. That's how it is supposed to be done. Didn't even get the chance to eat there so I can't even give it a food rating, just the customer service alone was terrible. Don't go here. Unless you are looking for a alcoholic beverage. This is a bar. & they serve drinks bright and early in the morning...

I stumbled on this place on a drive across Kansas. This place is so cool. A mountain west theme that really gives a great vibe. Then the food came and was even better. It's no wonder this place was packed even at 2 on a Sunday. I'll never drive past this spot again without a stop. A+!!!

Love Chuck's! I have never had a bad meal at Chuck's, and the daily specials are hard to beat. I've had the summer special a couple of times: side salad with lots of veggies on it and a half sandwich (the southwest turkey is my favorite-delicious!) for $8!

Kinda of a Roadhouse? A casual laid-back atmosphere with good food and cold beer. What more could you ask for.

Worst food ever! On May 5, 2024 my family of 5 adults and one child went to Chuck's for lunch. We were at the table a full 15 minutes before the waitress came over to ask us for our order. She took our food order, and then we didn't hear or see anything from the waitress for another 65 minutes!!! When the waitress finally returned to our table, she brought only ONE adult food plate, and the food was cold----and the chicken fried steak was so tough, we bent the knife trying to cut it. Then she brought out only my pastrami sandwich and fries, which was also cold but soggy too. Horrible! So now we're approaching an hour and 20 minutes and STILL only two out of five adults have their food (which was inedible). Shocking. Just shocking!

Service was mediocre at best. Ambiance was average. Did not have any food but the drinks were terribly weak. We had $140 bill for two of us and both sober as a church mouse. Highly would not recommend.

Bar tender was great!! Service excellant , & very friendly. the cook did terrible job at over cooking the food. Also needs to change the oil in fryer. O star on food 5 stars on Service from the Bartender
