Chopsticks

I needed something to battle a cold during my trip to Alva and Chopsticks absolutely helped me find a recovering meal. I found their egg drop soup to be not only delicious, but help alleviate my symptoms. The side of rice was also nice. I need to come back to try more of their menu items!

Do NOT judge by looks! This place was amazing. The table was a little sticky, but other than that, everything was very clean! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered an appetizer, soups, egg rolls, and of course our entrees. Everything came out VERY fresh and hot! The flavor was perfect. The service was very quick. We actually liked it so much that we ordered more food to take back home for dinner later!

The good:The food is fresh and vegetables done just right. I like some heat and my dish had just the right heat to it. They didn't skimp on the meat and my portion was generous. The bad:The restaurant needs serious steam cleaning. The edge of my table was sticky and the grout on the tile floors was gross.I ordered chicken curry, but it was actually chicken in brown sauce, NOT curry. Worse yet, I don't like brown sauce and avoid it whenever possible. That was unfortunate because everything else about the dish was good.

Lovely and tasty meal reasonable priced in clean surroundings. The staff were very helpful and served us promptly.

Don't expect authentic Mandarin or Sichuan here. This is basic American Chinese made to be cheap enough for College kids to afford and bland enough to not scare off the locals. Nothing fancy but if you find yourself in Alva, and you are sick of middle America Burgers and Mexican food this will do in a pinch. Chinese food for those that don't know any better.

For a super small town this place definitely offers some very good food. There wasn't too many things to choose from but all the dishes that are most commonly ordered. The sweet and sour chicken meal can feed two but you'd have to order extra rice as they're a bit small of a side. They're super quick and the employees are really nice. The buffet they run is small and has the most common food ordered as well.

Decent place for a small OK town. Food was warm and well cooked. It scratched an itch for Chinese food.

I love this family owned restaurant! It's clean and family friendly! I love my food! It was so good! The service was amazing! I would highly recommend this place! I would come back!

Pretty good food considering for a small town Chinese joint. Not real friendly. Quick take out option.

This place used to have a buffet, but since the pandemic, there is no more. My mother and i had to get ala carte, and to our surprise, we ended up paying way more than we usually do. Usually for us, it's about $25 for 2 of us for lunch ($20 + $5 tip). Now, with less food, we paid about $40 (tip included) for lunch. I am sorry that the pandemic hurt them, but it still doesn't justify paying so much just for lunch. Until they bring a buffet back, it's not worth it. Sorry but we choose to go elsewhere.
