I have lived here just over a year. Leslie and her staff do a great job in every way. The few maintenance requests I've had were promptly addressed. They will even change lightbulbs if you need due to high ceilings. I love that there are no smelly giant dumpsters. Smaller containers which maintenance empties as needed and keeps tidy. Dog friendly and everyone cleans up after their pets due to the "Poo-Print" service. Grills and picnic tables throughout the property and all adjacent to the Chisholm Creek park.

Please watch what you sign when dealing with these people. There is a clause in their "credit application" that is a "hold" on an apartment, even before you are approved, which is "non-refundable". My son was told it was just a deposit, which would be "refundable" under everyday circumstances... He lost $300.00, because he decided to live somewhere else. Please, PLEASE, read every word before you sign ANYTHING with these SCAMMERS! I confronted them about it and they offered 1/2 back, and never got a dime! That is why I am here. Calling out the unethical business practices of this company!!

I've lived in 4 apartment complexes so far...Chisholm Lake has by far been my FAVORITE! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need/want. The maintenance staff are prompt and excellent. I'm not leaving any time soon! Thank you Chisholm Lake!

i lived here six months. it's a nice place & a good location , but way too expensive and after fees come in like washed and dryer, etc the price just keeps climbing and it's not worth the price at all. the place wasn't very safe feeling either. the gates won't keep anyone out they're so small and you could just walk into the apartment and steal things from cars at any point & the gate was constantly broken so 99% of the time there was no gate at all. the staff are helpful, but when it comes to problems, not really. the apartment above me had a major leak that leaked into my apartment and completely soaked my bathroom and my closet , & when i called the 24 hour maintenance (bc i came home to this at 11 pm) no one ever answered. then i talked to the office and they said they can do nothing to help me or compensate me for anything because it "wasn't their fault. it was the person above me's faults." then for the next 2 weeks the maintenance guy would come into my apartment in the mornings while i was still sleeping to check up on the apartment. most of the time i was still in bed and he would come in after knocking only twice , when i could not hear the knocking from the bedroom. made me feel very uncomfortable bc i was living alone and a female. i moved out & it's been over two weeks and i'm still waiting for my deposit back which they said would take at most up to two weeks but keep changing their word when i call to ask. not that pleased.

My husband and I merely applied for this place, we didn't even sign a lease, and a situation came up where we were not able to move in. They not only kept our application fee (which is completely understandable because they did have to pay to run background checks, credit checks etc, regardless of if we moved in or not), BUT they kept our entire security deposit! As I said, we had not even signed a lease at this point, and they had over a month's notice to fill the vacant apartment. I tried to dispute it, but the wording in the application is so tricky that they actually included the deposit as part of the "application fee." What kind of business makes you pay a deposit just to apply? This wasn't a small dollar amount either, it was half a month's rent. Very unhappy. Be careful when even considering to live here, make sure you are 100% sure and hope that nothing comes up that prevents your move!
