We have an Aussie who is deaf and partially blind. The staff at Chisholm Creek takes such good care of Albert, even though he's a little... extra in everything he does. The staff is always friendly, thorough and positive. It's worth the price for the piece-of-mind I have knowing Albert is in expert and loving hands.

After having a terrible experience at a local boarding place, we decided to try out Chisholm creek because of their good reviews. It's the first time my dog has been boarded since i adopted her from the humane society and I'm so glad I went with them! They have wonderful options including all kinds of extra treats for your pup, and even will take them on walks during the day! (For a small extra fee) Their facility is clean and great. I highly recommend this place for anyone's fur babies. We also paid for grooming and are happy with the results.

We boarded our shy but energetic ACD pup for 3 weeks w/daycare and obedience training package. Some days were in the upgraded rooms and it was nice to be able to take some peeks on the webcam. Also, Beth was quick to return a phone call and give me a progress report. We were promptly notified of a minor eye infection and she was quickly brought to her vet for a small driving fee. our pup was returned to us well socialized and with some good obedience skills. She does have a bit of a cough and so we're not using her training lead right now. We are currently on a cross country road trip with her and feel that the training/socialization has helped make the trip a success.

I know that when my dog stays here, he won't be kicked, etc. I know that when my gog stays here, he won't be under-fed. These WONDERFUL people don't cut corners, and my dog is so much happier upon return. I can count the number of people I can trust with my life. Count these people on your digits with the life of your dog. Youbetcha.

I took my little guy here for spring break recently. When I dropped him off , I told the girl up front he was to have doggy day camp on Tuesday and Thursday. All went well while we were gone. We got back the following week to pick him and they charged me $13 for doggy day camp on Monday. The same day I dropped him off and clarified that I only wanted day camp on Tuesday and Thursday. The girl in front said she swears they didnt do it on purpose yet we still paid for it even though we didnt request it that day.We were tired having just got off the plane and didnt have the energy to argue about it. We just wanted to see our dog. All in all, I WOULD bring my dog back here but only if there werent any other kennels available nearby. Being that we got charged for something we didnt request, it loses 2 stars. Just make sure you clarify, and then clarify again at the front desk because you dont want to get charged for something you didnt ask for.

DO NOT SEND YOUR DOGS TO THIS "RESORT"!!We arranged to send our two golden retrievers to the Chisholm Creek Pet "Resort" for a total of four days. Our oldest golden retriever is 6 1/2 years old. We also have a puppy who is a little over four months old.I packed detailed instructions for both dogs including the times that they ate as well as when they would likely go potty. Additionally, I packed individual packets of dog food for each feeding. Before we brought our puppy to the Chisholm Creek Pet "Resort", I brought our puppy to the front desk and explained that we "moistened" our food. The receptionist said that "would not be an issue" and that they were familiar with this request. Our puppy is used to being fed "moistened" food which means her food is soaked in water for 45 minutes in water to make it soft for her to chew. I let them know that I "moisten her food" the night before and then put it in containers and then a refrigerator for the next day's meal. When we first brought her home, the breeder had let us know that she fed her "moistened" food. We forgot this instruction and saw that she was not eating her dry food willingly. When we contacted the breeder, she reminded us of what she had done. Our girl who was not eating her dry food sufficiently and was severely underweight, was gulping her food down. I left detailed instructions for the Chisholm Creek Pet "Resort" on what to do and the bowls and containers that we use for her food. She is fed three times a day. Additionally, she is fed her vitamin daily. We dropped our girls off on Thursday, July 25th after they ate breakfast. I remember that I packed two "moistened food" in containers so that the Chisholm Creek Pet "Resort" would have an idea of what "moistened food" looked like. When we picked her up in her belongings was: 5 packets of uneaten food, all of her vitamins and all of the bowls/containers empty and cleaned. So what does this mean? On Thursday, our puppy was fed the two "moistened food" containers since they were empty (at least we think she was fed). She had three packets of food for Friday, Saturday and Sunday for a total of nine packets included in her belongings. Since there were five unopened packets of food, it means that the Chisholm Creek Pet "Resort" fed her ONLY FOUR TIMES over three days!!! They fed her less than our older dog! ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL!!! Additionally, they NEVER gave her ANY of her VITAMINS!! When we received her report card, it said "she ate and went potty with no issues!" No mention of any issue with her eating. There were no issues because they were not feeding her!!!Our older golden retriever is fed twice a day with a greenie in between. In total, seven packets of food was packed as well as four greenies. When we picked up our belongings, there was one packet of food remaining and two greenies so they also missed feeding our older girl as well.I AM ANGRY with how they treated both of our girls especially our four month old girl. It is absolutely CRIMINAL with how she was fed. Providing the right nutrition is critical for the less than one year old puppy and Chisholm Creek FAILED MISERABLY! You can google the Chisholm Creek Pet "Resort" and find employee reviews of the organization. The reviews are not good. Many mention "awful management" which is telling. After this experience, we WILL NEVER send our girls to this organization. They lost our business. For your own dog's health, DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS ORGANIZATION!!! IT IS NOT A "RESORT"!

Don't work here. Here is a list of reasons, sincerely a group of "disgruntled ex-employees"-wouldn't let lodging staff leave 20 minutes early when there was a flood warning & high wind advisory. i ended up spinning off the highway on the way home.-i working there for 2.5 years making less than the starting amount for ppl in my position-corporate literally has an illegal covid policy-worked there 2.5 years and never accrued any PTO-the managers trash talk every single other employee-worked 7-9 days in a row regularly over the summer and would be guilt tripped into accepting shifts, staying late, coming in early when i was not scheduled-had 6 hours of pto when i quit working full time and then when i asked to use it it was just gone ??-managers make promises and policy's they only hold certain people accountantable for-being told you would get a raise after 90 days and then when asking about it being told they don't offer raises-putting other clients and employees at risk constantly by allowing people aggressive dogs because we can't turn away free money-becoming besties with all the regulars who have terrible dogs and not having anything done about it-made me and one other person care for 100+ dogs on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS-would swear up and down that no one can be left alone and then constantly leaving people alone so that managers can go to lunches in wichita and be gone for 1.5-3 hours at a time-managers show up hours late to opening shifts regularly with no consequences-managers sent employees out to run errands for events on multiple occasions to all ends of town and didn't compensate any gas-They get mad at anyone if they imply anything else might be more efficient than the ideas they have-always understaffed because they run their employees into the ground-made employees contact enrolled customers to notify them that training classes were canceled with no guarantee of a refund, only decided to refund after employees refused-didn't follow vaccination requirements if it meant losing money, allowed puppies under 12 weeks to board/do daycare despite parvo risk-didn't notify training class enrollees of a parvo case in an advanced class, didn't notify giardia cases in puppy classes-instead of lowering maximum pets when we were understaffed, they just stopped doing wellness checks which led to an influx of dogs going home with things wrong with them-care about money so much they're willing to put wellness of pets visiting in danger (ex: on multiple occasions dogs skipped meals and/or had completely incorrect feeding instructions due to (most of the time) managers putting boarding information in the system wrong)-they literally don't train you?? 99% of the time they stick you with another random employee with no training experience to "teach" you everything (they don't even know what to do)-would threaten us and say if we didn't sell enough the company couldn't afford for people to work all their hours. Also promised if we sold enough we would get raises.-Encouraged employees to hide mistakes instead of being honest with owners of what happened-Left entry level employees to handle upset customers as the management team would state they're not available to speak to them-ignored employees concerns regarding pet care (using pet safe products for cleaning, event "treats", hiding the inability to care for higher need animals)-NO formal training on how to handle aggressive and higher needs animals, left it to employees who were willing to try for the sake of the animal-Dogs allowed to continue group play with other dogs despite a history of aggression, just for the purpose of "giving them a chance"-didn't train employees correctly on cleaning protocols which led to dogs with chemical burns on their paws-wouldn't let us tell our customers that daycamp dogs don't go out to the pond anymore-daycamp is incredibly misleading, dogs go outside for two hours and sit in their runs for the other 5-7 hrs they're there for.-blatant ableism towards employees

HORRIBLE. Took my dog there to be boarded for 4 days and when I picked him up he had giant obvious infected wound on the side of his face that was red and oozing that no one ever noticed the whole time he was there. I was never even notified of any problems during his stay. It took 3 days to get anyone to call me back and explain what happened. No responsibility was ever taken even after a vet note stated this happened in their care. They did not ever refund me for his stay and instead said that all they are responsible for was "boarding and feeding the dogs." I expected my dog to not just be boarded and fed but to be cared for. I am not the only one who has had issues here. I do not recommend. They do not care for your dogs they simply cage them.

I made reservations for my two gsds for boarding and walks for one weekend. Got there on Friday and was informed that they had me down to come in the day before so I lost my reservation. I was given a spot after a phone call to a supervisor. I asked what my bill would be when picking up my dogs and was told one price but when I went in the price had jumped by $60. They had no idea where my dogs medicine was and the location of their collars and leashes. I packed exactly enough food and treats for my dogs stay and returned to find the same amount of food and treats that had not been given to my dogs for the past three days. I will never grace their door again nor will my dogs!! Super bad business practices and I feel the safety of my dogs was at jeopardy!
