The salsa was so good. We also had the queso fundido...also very good. Our server was polite and food came out fast. The restaurant was decorated like most Mexican food restaurants, but it was lovely!

It's a different experience every time we go here, not terribly bad or anything. Just not what we kinda expect. Really good flavor in the salsa and spicy too. Sides also have flavor. Main courses are kinda weird though, my red sauce was a little off tasting; the other enchiladas were good, and the chopped beef deal was a bit off. Good service and came out paying $50 or so for 3 people.

Driving through and stopped here based on reviews on Yelp & Trip advisor. Was seated right away and given drinks. Ordered guacamole appetizer....A-Mazing! I ordered shrimp ceviche. Came with ceviche chip, flavor was so good and portion was enough to take half to go. Husband had Carne Caliente, flavor a meat was really good, came with beans, rice & fresh homemade flour tortillas. Very pleased with quality, temperature & taste of food. Wait staff very pleasant. Decided to order flan due to pleasant lunch experience & was NOT disappointed. Homemade and presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend this place.

I've tried this place a few times. It's way overpriced for what you get. The staff all seem preoccupied with wanting to go home so their attention span for service is limited. One of the bar tenders seems to have a chip on his shoulder. I sat at the bar once with a friend for some after work beers. He never even looked our way and never asked what we wanted even tho he was serving 3 other people at the same bar. Total bs. He called someone else to handle our drinks. If it was my business I'd fire that bastard. His attitude is unprofessional in every way. There are some good people there but never stay too long. There is some good food there too but you will pay through the nose for it and you have to experiment a lot to find what's good. Too much hassle in my opinion, I'd go elsewhere.

The beginning of our dinner didn't go exactly as planned with our first server but about halfway through we asked for a different one and she changed the outcome of our experience, she was completely attentive even while handling several other tables. The food was amazing, as were the drinks. Props to that young lady, if you want excellent service, head over to the bar part of Chihua's.
