Stopped by on a work trip for their incredibly reasonably priced lunch menu. I had the Chiang Mai Khao Soi and my wife had the Pepper Steak; both came with an egg roll and donut for around $12 person. The Chiang Mai Khao Soi was delicious with a rich and creamy broth though the volume of crunchy noodles was a bit to get through. My wife was not blown away by the Pepper Steak; it seemed like your normal take out fare. Dining in, the interior was alright. Not too much going on and some music playing at the perfect volume: loud enough to have a conversation and quiet enough to not hear anyone else's. I wouldn't recommend coming if you're in a rush, our waitress took her time getting our order but once placed the food came out fast. A great spot for those with an hour or more for lunch. Will return if I'm ever in Andover again.

It says it is closed indefinitely on their Facebook page (2/3/2025. )The website and Yelp make it seem open for business.

Excellent. Essentially the same menu and quality as the south Wichita location. We've been back and met friends there.

I've been a fan of the original location in South Wichita, so I was excited to see a new location open up closer to me. I had it for lunch today, and everything was pretty good. We had the pad Thai, the curry, and the cashew nut beef. Of the three, the cashew nut beef was probably the worst. The beef was a little tough, and just a pedestrian Chinese style dish. We enjoyed everything else, though, and will definitely be back. I was trying to take advantage of the lunch specials, but I definitely prefer more authentic Thai dishes. The cashew beef is not one of them...They are very nice people, and I wish the best of luck to them. Keep the place clean, keep the food, delicious and consistent, and you'll do fine!

This is what I got from ordering through DoorDash. They sure do not mind filling up the rice but look at what I got from the other two dishes. Guess I'll never gonna order it through DoorDash or from this restaurant again. What a disappointment.

I've tried this location a couple of times now. The service was good. The squid salad was good. The Pad Thai however, had very dry chicken, almost twice cooked like on my visit today 7/25/24. Chicken pad thai is too common of a dish. If they don't improve the quality they will lose a large portion of Andover/Wichitan patrons. I also asked for spicy and it was not spicy, at all. I'm sorry, some of the food needs added quality control. Service was good. Price was on the lower end.

I love coming to Chiang Mai. Their prices are very reasonable and their food is consistent! If you want something quick and easy to pick up and take home, their online ordering system is easy to use and texts an ETA for your food and when your order is ready.

Not a good experience. I came in for lunch and I ordered beef larb and you can tell the meat was old.. it had the grisly texture and it wasn't very warm, room temperature. I'm not In Andover very often so there's no need to go back. I'll go to the other location instead.

We have never been to the original location but have heard good things. The waitress was kind and friendly. We ordered spring rolls for an appetizer and they did not disappoint. The dipping sauce was sweet and had a delicious zing of acidity. I had seen Moo goo gai pan on the online menu and asked if they had it. She said yes, and my companion ordered his favorite Thai specialty cashew chicken. She brought out our entrees and this is where things went awry. The "moo goo gai pan" consisted of a cup of rice, chicken, cabbage and two lone pieces of cauliflower? Where were the water chestnuts, carrots, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, snow peas? Additionally,my lunch mate's cashew chicken contained not one cashew. It did contain rice, chicken ,bamboo shoots, green pepper, onions, carrots and mushrooms. He said the sauce was not a typical cashew chicken sauce. It was more of a brown gravy. We kindly let our waitress know that these dishes were not what we had ordered. She brought us out some donuts which we declined because alas! We are on a break from processed sugar. We paid our bill and that was our experience. Take heed!
