After driving 3 1/2hrs and working over 12hrs, my co worker and I decided to come here due to a recommendation. It was a nice cozy inmate setting, the lights were dimmed which added an extra plus for me. In the beginning when our server came to our table everything started off good. They had cheesesteak egg rolls 0/10- on the menu which happens to be one of my favorite apps, our server Liz recommended them so I ordered them plus,FF, salmon poke crisps 10/10 and the lamb lollipops 8/10 top off with their seasonal mock-tail 10/10 definitely a must try! Here's where the experience goes down hill, after our cheesesteak egg rolls came out to the table, for starters they were cold, no season or flavor and the egg rolls them self were soggy underneath. When Liz came back to the table and my co worker made her aware of this, she looked as if she seen a ghost and was hesitated to take them away. I had to actually tell her I did not want them, she never asked if we wanted something else in exchange. Fast forward our lamb chop lollipops came out, I requested for mines to be cooked medium and my co worker requested medium well. They were prepared rare, we were so hungry and tired we just ate them. I will say this, outside of them being cooked wrong they were very good, welled seasoned and tender. When Liz came back to the table 30mins later we showed her our food. She then went and brought the chef out, his name was Carlos I believe. He was very nice and apologetic, he offered to make it right and explained it was a lot of huge Christmas party happening that evening and the kitchen was busy. Even though my experience wasn't the best I would come back here for another try.

Has a company party here with a fixed menu. The appetizers were amazing. Charcuterie board, crab cakes, and thick cut bacon. Wonderful time.

Came to the Chesters and ordered the prime rib, cocktail shrimp, and beef carpaccio. The steak was cooked a little more done than medium rare but it was still juicy, garlicky, and well seasoned. I've had bigger cocktail shrimp before, but the MP was lower than I'm used ro paying for so it was worth it and definitely fresh. I really enjoyed the beef carpaccio. Fresh raw beef, a sharp cheese accompanied with tiny chips and a salad to brighten the flavor profile. All in all i'd definitely come back. Our server whom I can't recall the name at the moment was very pleasant. Cheers!

Came in from out of town on a work trip and thought this place might be a good spot for dinner. I'm glad we came in! Our waitress was phenomenal and very attentive. We had some quirks with our orders and everything came out correct. Salmon dish was recommended and was good but I will say the mustard sauce was on the sweeter side. Martini was 5 stars. Also had a spicy tequila pineapple cocktail that was fabulous. We loved the ambiance on the patio overlooking the water! It was a a gorgeous night. Could have maybe used some music out there but still an amazing experience nonetheless

My husband and I went to Chester's for Valentine's dinner. It was overbooked, so they had added extra small tables, with barely enough room for service. Our table had been placed a couple of feet from the service station and the floor moved every time someone was seated, or walking past. Maybe it was warped due to a water or flooding incident? Our reservation was early, but we waited 50 minutes to get our order. I had one of the evening's special entrees, Lobster with three-cheese pasta. The lobster was overcooked, with little flavor --no lemon or seasoning? The pasta was in an unrecognizable sauce, with corn and maybe some carrots and it was lukewarm. My husband's 8 oz steak was medium-rare instead of medium, as he had ordered. We have usually enjoyed our meals at Chester's, but what we experienced was zero ambiance, kind, but minimal service and marginally prepared food which didn't equate to value. We used to view Chester's as a special go to for an elevated dining experience. This was definitely not that.We ordered a couple of desserts to go: Tiramisu and the Lemon Cheesecake. Unfortunately, they confirmed what the main courses demonstrated. They lacked any hint of specialty or the decadence a diner anticipates at the end of an overpriced meal.Since we don't dine here regularly, I wonder if this was a one-off fail, or if the lack of attention to detail and excellence is indicating an ongoing state of decline, post the change in ownership.

My steak was well cooked and well presented. The service was good. However, my memory of the Wedge Salad that the prior owners offered was one reason I looked forward to dining at Chester's again. The current menu lists a "Classic Wedge Salad" but there was nothing classic about it, it was essentially inedible. The wedge was too large, and the ingredients were bastardized and lacked any attempt at subtlety. First problem, it was not served on a chilled plate and it did not have blue cheese dressing or bacon...please, stop calling it classic. I realize restaurants strive to offer a unique experience with their interpretation of classic dishes but there is no room to improve a basic salad prepared in the classic manner.
