Interesting choice, my team of 5 decided on Chatters as the place we'll have lunch. I was intrigued because of the menu. We started out with two appetizers, Fried Ravioli & Popcorn Shrimp Basket. To be honest the Fried Ravioli wasn't worth ordering. Pretty much flavorless! The menu read stuffed with cheese & jalapenos. I don't think either existed in the ravioli. Had great potential but just didn't deliver. The Popcorn Shrimp was a step up and we're actually pretty good. The dipping sauce was rather strange - it seemed to be a spicy teriyaki which was okay just not a dipping sauce I expected. Maybe a choice of sauces would be a better option.Four of the 5 choose burgers and I think everyone truly enjoyed their choice. I chose the KC Special - pastrami burnt ends, w/two 1/4 lb burgers with cheese and a side of Freedom Fries. Two others chose the Heavenly Bacon and the last picked the Mushroom Burger. I think it's fair to say everyone enjoyed their burger.The lone dissenter felt the need to be on the healthier side and he went with the salmon. He described it as dry and over cooked. Luckily he choose the French Onion soup as a starter and he said it was one of the best soups he's had! Another one in the group also ordered the same and he said it was delicious. I'm mad at myself for not ordering because that is one of my favorites and can't believe I actually passed on it!Our server was GG and she was very pleasant and she was good at checking in on us to make sure we were doing okay. We enjoyed her waiting on us for our lunch meal.If we ever make our way to Pittsburg again I think I would definitely try this place again and look at trying other items on the menu!

Had dinner this evening. We got there at 445. Our food arrived at about 530. It was terrible. Food had been sitting awhile and it was just gross. Soggy, cold etc. One in our party got catfish. It still had the skin on it and when you touched the breading, oil came pouring out. Honestly it was all just gross.Based on these things we likely won't return. Second and last visit here.

Chatters is very good! I've never seen such a diverse menu! I thought it was a burgers and wing joint. Come to find out the had a sushi chef at the entrance. I had the chicken and waffles and they were very good. The old lady had the beef tips, she liked them. The mood atmosphere was a little dark but it was okay. So chatters change the lighting.

Good food, and good atmosphere. Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. I'm from Dallas, so it's refreshing to eat at a place where the employees are not ghetto entitled lazy workers. All employees here are White American hard workers. Chatters has really good food. The burgers are huge and tasty. It's not cheap, but worth the money.

Would go there quite a bit when we lived there. A bit expensive - but staff and owner are all super friendly and personable. Desserts are great. Food ranges from basic bar food to Pho. Meals are generous, flavors are on point and food is fresh!Over the last 3 years, the rise of groceries are really kicking down local businesses! It's so important to support local restaurants, mom and pop grocers....

Ate here during the summer in the early evening. I was torn looking at some of the reviews but this place seemed like you're classic sports bar and grill. Food was good, drinks were adequate for a smaller town bar. Service was nice and friendly. When we were leaving, 7ish, a lot more people were showing up so I'm guessing it's a popular spot when school is in session.

My husband & I showed up to have a nice dinner after going to a wedding. We arrived around 6 pm & was told the wait would be 25 minutes. Forty minutes later, I went to ask where we were on the list. Hostess said she was just about to call us for our table. In the time it took me to get my husband right outside the front door, the hostess came & said she was mistaken & the table was reserved. My husband & I waited about 5 minutes & left. For Pete's sake! In the time we waited, we could have driven to Joplin to Longhorn Steakhouse!!! Maybe if I'd worn PittState red to identify as an alumnus, they might've treated us better.

I ordered pasta they proceeded to tell me they had no pasta whatsoever in the back then proceeded to bring my dad out Mac and Cheese which where I come from is pasta I do not recommend this place to anyone they are inconsiderate and do not care about customers

Our waitress Alexis M. seemed annoyed/rushed/mad to be there. Complained about being busy, messed up our order, didn't bring things we asked for, and barely stayed at our table long enough for us to ask for what we needed. I got a salad and the lettuce was pink & shriveled. My friend ordered pasta and it was cold. All together will not be coming back!!
