Passing thru Perry, and stopped by Charlie B's for dinner. I had the hamburger steak with okra and mashed potatoes. So much food and delicious. The wife had open faced pot roast and Mac n cheese. Also delicious, with enough food for a late night snack. Not only was the service outstanding, but the owner/chief came by to chat and make sure we enjoyed the meal. Quaint little cafe, with booths or tables. Highly recommend.

Guys this place is pretty great. I had chicken fried steak and okra which was delicious. Really appreciated the scratch made food you can taste. It needed no seasoning and was so much that i could eat it all. Cool ceilings and prompt, friendly service.

Took family and Ferris's here during a baseball tournament. Fried chicken, Salad, Grilled Chicken Meatball Sub, Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Ranch Style Beans were all a hit. Will definitely visit again.

If I could, I would give this restaurant 10 stars. It is a quaint little "from scratch" restaurant in a very nice downtown. The chicken fried steak sandwich I had was very good. I found the server to be very friendly and had a very pleasant discussion with her about Perry and some of its history. I travel through Perry on IH-35 often travelling from thee Kansa City area to Austin, Texas, but had never been downtown. I will definitely make this short side-trip into downtown more often, and highly-recommend this restaurant.

We got hungry on our travels and stopped in for some good comfort food and was not disappointed! We got the hamburger steak and the grilled pork steak with onion fries and okra and tater tots! The service was fabulous and the owner came out to talk to us! If your in the area stop in!

Very good food and friendly staff I eat there one to two times a week, I have taken my employees and sales men there for lunch and always great service and better food.

Stopped in for lunch today. Hubs had chicken fried steak, fries, & onion straws. I had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, & onion straws. We topped off the meal with some peach cobbler. Portions were huge. Everything was made from scratch. The food was seasoned well. We are looking forward to returning and trying the Friday night buffet.

First time eating here the food was fabulous! I had the Caesar chicken wrap it was very good! Lettuce was fresh and the chicken was good! The French fries were hand cut and perfectly seasoned! My husband & I will be back! The service was great and the place was really clean!
