Dr Weaver and his staff very qualified to care for your feet. They are all very friendly and understanding . Diabetic or other feet issues are cared for equally. First visit included x-rays . toe nail clipping, evaluation of presented problem and goals set. Good to get appointments with, offices are informative , roomy, Handicapped easy access, air conditioned and clean ! Has products ie shoes, sneakers available to try on, and order for you saving you trip to shoe store. This is great because he has your correct size, width and depth for your feet to fit into. Also can order braces custom made and inserts. Will also supply things like iodine and other OTC products for you to purchase there.

They could talk to their staff about being rude and the doctor could stop being rude to the people and not expect that just because you've had Diabetes for a while that you know all the rules that you're supposed to do with shoes, etc. They can also have better phone etiquette and not chew you out when you ask questions.

I made an appointment with the clinic. They double booked my appointment and I had to re-schedule. They didn't tell me up front that they didn't accept my insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) and I had to pay for my services out of pocket. Be very careful if you schedule an appointment with this practice. I'm no comfortable going back. If they aren't up front with the insurances they accept, why would they be up front with anything else. I gave them my insurance ID number when I called in to schedule my initial appointment. No mention that the insurance was not acceptable.

Buyer Beware - PROFIT driven practice, not patient centered care! This foot doctor charged my insurance $280 for a night brace that is $29.99 on Amazon, leaving me to pay $151 for said brace out of pocket (beward, they said those with other insurance pay more). When I told the doctor no one told me the cost, he said "yes we did", left the room & sent the biller in. I never saw him again. Sally, the biller, said "the insurance makes us do that." I run a medical private practice and insurance DOES NOT make them do anything, they CHOOSE to be profit driven & not make patients aware of how much things cost. They could simply say to the patient, "We recommend this foot brace. We charge insurance $280 for it. Would you like the code for it to call your insurance & see how much it will cost you or would you like to take it home today & pay what insurance says to pay." But, you know what that is....customer centered care, and this doctor is definitely FOR PROFIT. Be careful & ask questions! They also gave me a strechy band in my first appt w/ a bag of goodies that they charged for without notifying me of the cost. When I complained about this the tech said, "I'm sorry, sometimes we miss, we try to tell everyone." Okay, put pricing stickers ON the items. If your people can't remember to tell every.single.person you have a broken system. There was no offering to make it right for me as a customer, there was only..."oops, we usually do it, but we're going to keep your money anyway." Again, PROFIT DRIVEN, buyer beware.$500 Orthotics that were made for me broke down within 2 months, and did not help my issue at all. They charged my insurance $600 for them, of course. They did offer to replace the top layer with something they thought might be stronger. But again, the doctor left the appointment and did not come back when he learned I wasn't happy, so I do not have repaired orthotics.I WOULD DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM GOING TO THIS PRACTICE if you would like patient centered, clearly honest care.

I am a type 1 diabetic and my endocrinologist wanted me to see a podiatrist since it was my first foot infection since I became diabetic. I gave them all the info they asked for before the appointment. I wasn't seen here because they didn't want to accept the type of ID I could offer to show them. I'm a nurse and even my nursing badge with my picture wasn't good enough. Some how an insurance card is better than an ID with a picture. And the insurance card has to be physically with you, never mind the fact I can pull it up on my phone. I had to talk to the office manager and she had to decide if I could be seen. She was rude and treated me like I was stupid. I went to college for what I do and I deal with health insurance everyday to make sure my patients get the care and medical equipment they need. I don't need to deal with an office manager on a power trip being rude to me because she's having a miserable day in existence. The office manager confused one of my insurances with a different insurance company, but when I corrected her she didn't think she was capable of misspeaking. The office manager decided to go over my insurance coverage even though I wasn't going to be seen. She acted like I couldn't afford my $20 copay. I wear $10,000 worth of medical equipment attached to my body every day to keep me alive. She was hands down rude and unprofessional. I will never go back because I won't tolerate the way she treated me. It makes me feel bad for any patient that goes there and has to talk to her. The receptionists were very nice and generally helpful, but not a place I will entrust with my care. My mother is a retired doctor and was the medical director of her clinic, she never allowed people to be treated that way at her clinic. I'm not going to lower my standards because an office manager that doesn't actually want to work with people so she takes it out on the patients she interacts with.

A very unpleasant experience. Doctor and staff seemed more interested in money than patient care. The doctor charged for each piece of advice. He allowed untrained staff to answer patient questions in his presence. Would not stand where I could see him to ask questions. Product that I purchased was defective within a few months. Went to talk to them about it, said that I would have to pay for the repairs and it would take at least 3 weeks(meaning that I would be without my orthodics). On one visit the doctor and his wife were inappropriate. When I spoke to a staff member about the incident, there were denials all around. All in all a very poor experience.
