This was such a great experience. The salad was so good, served in a chilled bowl and the pizza A M A Z I N G !!

Great stone fired pizza with some traditional and unique flavor/topping options. Pizza is not greasy which is a major bonus. Great family owned restaurant to try.

Literally the best wood fired pizza I have ever eaten. I travel quite a lot for work and leisure. This will be a place I go an hour out of my way from now on just to eat.

This place is by far the best pizza in this part of Kansas. I had a olive and beef pizza and it is just incredible! The crust is just crusty enough and it comes quickly to your table. Very fresh ingredients. Interior of restaurant is simple and unpretentious. Forget about the junk at Pizza Hut and head here!

Hanging out in Smith Center, KS and stumbled across this restaurant. The pizza is phenomenal!!!! An honest-to-goodness brick oven! The pizza was ready in under two minutes. Every ingredient is fresh. The pizza crust has flavour and doesn't taste like cardboard. Seconds, please!

We moved to Smith Center a little over a year ago after having lived in the Kansas City area for years. One of the things we love about our small town is the quaint atmosphere and the friendliness of the residents. The first time we walked into Center Fire Pizza, Mark and Susan were behind the counter and treated us like we were loyal customers. Small town "diners" don't typically have the fancy food, but looking at the board with the list of pizzas, it was obvious this wasn't a typical small town pizza place. Along with the traditional favorites, they also offer Margherita pizza, chicken/artichoke/pesto pizza among others, to surprise the sleepy small town taste buds like ours!While we waited for our order, Mark spent time telling us their story and talked about the brick oven. It was a TREAT to know their background and how they decided to open the doors on Main Street.The REAL treat came when we tasted Susan's salads and Mark's pizza, however. The salad is made to order and is fresh. Susan doesn't use iceberg. Her house salad is full of the good stuff. And, oh, the pizza. The dough is light and the crust crisps perfectly. Mark doesn't skimp on the toppings and it is oven to table, delivered by the creator himself. We HIGHLY recommend Center Fire Pizza. Coming from a larger metropolitan area, we would rank it as some of the best pizza we have ever had. And don't miss out on getting to know the owners and their story. That's part of the experience and one not to miss.
