Service is good perhaps sometimes the plates are hotter than the food is but it seems to be fresh salsa and chips are really good so is the soup

Tried Casa Alvarez for the first time recently and got the Flautas and their Cheese Fries. Both were very unique and had great flavor. I was impressed by the softness of the flautas, typically other places have them very very crunchy.The cheese fries had some amazing red chili beef on them and they were very good!

Enjoyed the tacos, enchiladas and chips with white Queso. Friendly customer service, clean and enjoyable accommodation. Full menu with plenty of options.

The food here must cater to locals only. The Spanish rice was sweet, the fajita burrito was sweet, and the salsa was at least half water. They also failed to served refried beans with the burrito order. Horrible food.

Very bland and greasy. Never ate at a place that managed to be both!!! I usually read postings from others before eating at a new place , not this time for which I regret

This place had the most bland food made from the lowest quality ingredients that I've eaten in years. I ordered Chili Colorado. The beef was mushy (not tender, but actually mushy). The Chili sauce was greasy and mostly unseasoned. The rice was overcooked and tasted like a bad Mexican Rice package mix. The beans were okay, but watery. The chips for the chips and salsa were stale, but the salsa was actually okay. They served the meal with a small salad that consisted of iceberg lettuce and some creamy dressing that didn't have a distinctive taste. The service was chaotic and mostly apathetic. I will avoid this place in the future.

My husband and I disagree with Richards comment and almost didn't try this place because of it :-D but we are glad we did. It does have plenty of flavor too best salsa I've had in a while just the right amount of bite :-)

I have been going to this restaurant for nearly 15 years. I know the owner and he and his staff really get you the most authentic food you can get in this area. Their fajitas are to die for!! They also have very good soup, enchiladas and all you can eat homemade chips and salsa. I highly recommend!!!

My family has been eating at Casa Alvarez for 2 decades. We've held huge family dinners there (15 people). They've always been exceptionally polite to us and I've never had a bad meal there. Seriously, it's good Mexican comfort food.
