The IMAX theater was frigid. I live in Colorado and my toes, by the end of the movie, were colder than they get when I go skiing. I couldn't feel them. I was wearing long underwear, a heavy turtleneck sweater, jeans, gloves, and a stocking cap and I still used my heavy winter coat as a blanket. Ridiculous.

Update: We went here to see 'Adrift' couple days ago since it wasn't playing in JC and sat in non dine-in area. Seating in this area sucked, super cramped like theaters of decades ago. You practically sit on your neighbors lap. We had 2 regular size sodas, mozzarella sticks, nachos totaling $28 just for food. Movie was good though. Don't forget to bring light weight jacket even if it's 95 degrees outside.

Over sold movie. Completely packed into a small theatre while the imax large theatre was left empty. Food is stupid expensive. Go to five below or Walmart and buy your candy before going and a coke or bottled water, shove in wife's purse and head in. Unless you enjoy a second mortgage for junior mints and popcorn.

The movie theater is fairly new so the facilities are still excellent. I tried the dine-in for the first time tonight, and my girlfriend and I LOVED it. The food is amazing, and the service was pretty fast. The staff were wall very nice too. You must try the dine in

Checked out this new theater Tuesday afternoon for an IMAX-3D showing of Pirate of the Caribbean 5. The theater is only about 5 months old, so ofcourse everything is new and luxurious. It is at the south end of the Town Center Mall. They tore down the Sears and built the theater brand new.It wasn't super busy on a Tuesday afternoon, so no wait for tickets or concessions. The IMAX theater has a large screen, floor to ceiling and side to side. The presentation was flawless, the movie seemed to float right in front of your eyes, which is the IMAX touch. The sound was incredible as well. The seats are high-back rockers, very comfortable. I had a small popcorn which was very good, nice and salty with no kernels or crumbs. You can add whatever amount of butter you want at nearby tables. They had the Coca-Cola freestyle drink machines also, but I didn't get a drink. The theater was built by Carmike, but AMC bought the Carmike chain about 2 months after this theater opened, so they now have the AMC stubs program, which gives you ticket discounts, refillable popcorn, and the usual amenities those cards come with. I signed up for the free card, altho they have a card with an annual membership fee like Amazon Prime that offers even more freebies. They have a diner on the left side as you enter with big screen TV's to watch while you enjoy food and beverage, and I believe 5 screens have dine-in food service, altho those theatres are much smaller--about 100 seats each. I can't review the food items since they don't serve food in the IMAX theater. The IMAX screen is large, however it is not a traditional five-story high super wide IMAX. It does have the official IMAX logo with IMAX 3D digital projectors and digital sound. No word on if any of the theaters will add Dolby Vision, which AMC is introducing in several of their theaters, mostly in larger markets.Overall, a great time was had by our group. We would definitely go back. For budget conscious moviegoers, the old theater in west Manhattan is now a second-run AMC theater with low ticket prices, altho concessions are still extremely expensive.

Disappointing.. new theater and there isn't enough help for concessions. Literally no one was serving popcorn at 1:45 on a rainy Saturday.

This is a great place to see a movie. Fantastic theaters and staff members, but come on get more than just ONE person each working the tickets and concession stands!!!

Clean and the movie quality was good but this theater is lacking in service and personality. They have automated ticked booths that don't allow you to select certain seats for no apparent reason. Also at nearly $13 for a ticket this theater is overpriced. Carmike has a complete monopoly on the movie business in Manhattan so you may not have a choice but I would suggest saving your money and wait for the film to get out on DVD. You won't miss anything if you don't go to this theater.
