Cancun Mexican Grill

This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant or any restaurant in fact I have ever ate at. The service is amazing. And the place was all nice and tidy.Their bottled coke is to die for.DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Visited Alva and this place was highly recommended. As a fan of Mexican food, I had to drop in to give it a try. Boy, was I happy that I did! The atmosphere, servers, and food were exceptional! I put in a special request for Nachos Jalisco, which wasn't on the menu, and they hooked me up. IT WAS INSANELY DELICIOUS! So, if you're a local and haven't tried it, do it NOW. If you're just passing through, then THIS is THE place to eat!

They were out of a few things but have a favorite of mine, the Hawaiian fajitas!! The food was 3 stars just because the offer something I can't ever get! Service wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing. After 1 basket of chips between 4 people assume they want more if kids are eating crumbs!

Got a seafood chimichanga that was outstanding, with huge pieces of crab and shrimp. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Chips were warm too which I really like. Salsa was flavorful and very yummy. The only problem with our experience was the service and that's because they didn't have enough help. It would've been nice to see the help wearing masks too. Just shows they care about their guests. I would've given 5 stars if the service would've been more prompt. Food was delicious though.

Excellent place for drinks & dinner. We are from California (dropping our nephew off to college). This restaurant was just down the street from the school. The food is excellent, the service is friendly. If I did not live a 24 hour drive away I would return again & again ~

Ordered the Pollo Popeye, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! The staff smiled and was very nice when I walked in to pick up my order. Food was reasonably priced at ~$13. Would definitely recommend!

Half star wasn't an option. I went a while back and ordered a burrito. It tasted like nothing but queso because it was drowned in it that was the only way to eat it. The sides were decent so I ate them first but were hard to eat. I started the burrito and it just was not hittin or smacking as the kids say. I got about half way and found some good tastin plastic in it my server rarely checked up on me so I had to call server ( he was the guy covered in tattoos I have no problem w tattoos) I had a problem with how he was disrespectful and didn't believe plastic was in my food. I'm not the one to make a scene but I was "really finna act up as the kids say" fam. Yea it was awful I could cook with no tastebuds and still have better food. Pic down for proof

I do not recommend this restaurant. The food was terrible. Our server got drinks and order wrong. Got two plates had to wait ten minutes for a third meal and get the order corrected to get the fourth meal 20 minutes later. Never asked do you want a box for the half eaten meal or refills for our drinks. After asking for the ticket, he proceeded to wait on other tables and only brought the ticket while at the counter waiting for a manager despite walking by repeatedly after ticket was requested. While explaining to the manager said waiter kept walking by. Managers solution was taking ten percent off of a tab of over sixty dollars. So essentially the discount was what the taxes added up to. Then when that was questioned, he seemed insulted. Well, I had felt insulted the entire time. I will not be eating at this establishment ever again.

The food was good, but that's about it. Our waiter only checked in us once and that was because he saw us looking at him. As soon as he say anything down on our table he was basically running away. Most of the time he was standing and talking to other employees.

Cancun used to be much better. They must have changed cooks over the last year or something. The steak is generally undercooked, sometimes still bleeding. If they could fix that I would recommend it. Street tacos were amazing whenever they cooked the meat more crispy. Also need to include cilantro and onions with them.
