Calvin Opp Concrete

9/24/2019 - In July, 2019, I noticed a crack where the sidewalk meets the concrete steps. It's the width of the sidewalk. I contacted Opp to have someone come out and check it out. The lady I spoke to said that concrete cracks within the 1st 24 hours. She said that someone would stop by the next time they are in my area. Now, I live near K-96 and Oliver, not out in the middle of nowhere. After 6 weeks, nobody had called or came by. I then had my wife call to see if she had better luck. Here it is over 2 weeks later, and nothing. I have just sent an email to KAKE On Your Side to see if they can help.

I called to get a quote on a small project, according to them, and the guy was not very helpful. Did not want to discuss anything after I told him the details, and wanted to end the call. I called a competitior of theirs and they actually provided more helpful options to consider. Your customer service reflects your business, if I had a bigger project, I would not call this place.

Opp had a foreman come out to look at the problem. 4 days later, they removed the problem area, installed rebar, new concrete and finished with the proper control joints. (all in one day)Dustin and his crew did a fantastic job. Once the concrete cures, you'll never know there was a problem.

He answered all of my questions and kept in contact with me every step of the way. He listened to my concerns, cleared up false information from other companies, and made my vision a reality. Bruce and his team went above and beyond our expectations. They were careful around our existing landscaping and left everything in perfect condition when they left. We LOVE our new walkways! We had a new driveway and porch put in. Calvin came and bid the job and after some thinking I asked him to come back and rebid. Both times he was prompt and made suggestions and was very open to what we had in mind. The crew showed up when expected and worked very hard and efficiently to get the project done. It was completed in a timely manner and the workmanship was outstanding. I would highly recommend Calvin Opp concrete for all your concrete needs.
