Cake Stuff

I have been there several times. Good selection of product, good service, convenient. Perfect no, but if your searching for perfection stay home and don't interact with actual people.

I absolutely love this place! I can always find what I need, and it smells sooo good in there! I travel all the way from Oklahoma to shop here and I'm constantly telling others about this store. I wish they would expand to Oklahoma!

I started baking cookies in January...had no idea I possessed the ability to decorate so beautifully. My husband and I have visited Cake Stuff approximately 14 times in the last 60 days; I'm not exaggerating either. Once, I was given a pep talk of sorts from an associate who insisted I would be able to pipe numbers in a cookie by hand. I had never done it before...she wasn't wrong. That encouragement meant a lot to me. Another time, I was misdirected about type/use of certain food colors to achieve a navy blue color. I was sold the expensive powder in Royal Blue. It didn't work. I should have gone with my gut and purchased the AmeriColor "Navy". The cookie cutter, icing, treat box, and food color options are extensive. They have never not had what I needed. Some associates are not as friendly as others but I think that happens about anywhere anymore. I'm truly happy we have this local option.

The staff is always willing to help with all my baking needs! Even give some ideas of their own when it comes to cake pop making. I love coming into the store and see the variety of all the baking things. :) I am grateful to have this store in Wichita!

I've been a loyal customer for years. We have even taken a few of their decorating classes. I cannot believe how I was treated yesterday. We live on the east side and it's a bit of a drive for us and I brought all 4 of my small children with me bc we needed some supplies for a cake that i was finishing for today. I had already looked other places and got there just before closing. My youngest (1 year old) threw up in one of the aisles as we were shopping and I told the employees right away. They proceeded to leave it there and wait to ask me to clean it up(the three of them had plenty of time to do it themselves) and then they hovered and watched me as I scrubbed on my hands and knees. Then they had the nerve to ask me if I was "okay" as my kids were waiting on me to take care of them. It's unbelievable and it was obviously an accident. I wouldn't have bought my supplies there if I had any other choice yesterday. We won't be back. I usually support local businesses but never this one again and I'll make sure everyone I know doesn't shop there either. They continue to ignore me.

Worst service I have ever seen. Hopefully this place will be out of business soon. With the attitude the workers have, I am sure it won't be long.

I really needed help and advise on baking for a special event and the staff were so kind and helpful. I left with confidence and all the right tools. Great store with loads of baking supplies! Thank you!

This is a great place to shop for hard to find pans, ingredients, coatings, etc. The color selection can't be beat, and their flavorings are diverse. (Though a few flavors were...well, try them before you give the cake or item away...like the coconut)The thing that keeps the rating from being perfect is the lack of nutritional information when requested for certain items. It's like pulling teeth and I can't seem to get any. It IS available from the manufacturers that these products come from so it should not be that hard for a customer to get this! Candylandcrafts.com has sent me, via long distance fax, nutritional information on some products that SHOULD be able to be provided by the supplier I'm buying from....Other than that. really happy about this store. They have many things that I'd normally have to mail order.

A great little shop with a lot of things you can only get on Amazon. Saves me time and expense to shop here. Friendly staff. Love this little store. Keep up the good work!
