The service is great! The guy who's always working the register seems super kind, even if a tad overbearing but in a dad joke kinda fun way! I've been coming here since I found it in 2017! A Topeka/Midwest native, I spent most of my adolescence & young adulthood in San Diego,CA got exposed to a lot & missing boba was something I did not have to do thanks to this cute lil cafe!! Only star down would be because I hate when good things change & this place has not gone back to normal since Covid with the way that the register cart/bar is at the edge of the entrance still not allowing people inside anymore. I miss the way it was, the seating along the edge of the walkway is nice enough but not inside the establishment. I can't be picky though, this might be the only spot I can get boba at in town! I'd like coffee on the menu as well, I'm a fanatic. But I can respect their tea only & made it easy taking my 11yo cousin there today who I'd take the coffee out of her drink anyway. I wish they had some nicer looking pastries! Otherwise, still truly a 10/10 will definitely visit again.

They have a great staff and the best bubble tea in town. Highly recommended them for their order ahead, drive up, and reasonable prices.

Tasty boba and milk tea! I had the pleasure of interacting with the owner or manager when purchasing my beverage. I asked if they had just milk tea and she knew exactly what I was craving and ordered me the perfect milk tea with boba. It was the perfect sweetness, not too sweet, but enough to satisfy as refreshing treat. The milk tea is not powdered, so it takes a little longer to steep and prepare. It tasted similar to the imported canned milk tea, but more complex and fresher tasting. I really loved it! The steeped tea has a more complex flavor profile to it and it tasted better as I drank it. Highly recommend this place for boba! It reminds me of back home on the west coast, I wish places like this were closer to me here in Kansas. I notice the staff also interact and get to understand and know thier customers really well and help them find a drink that suits thier taste buds. Many different customers come here, which means this place has a variety for every palate and desire. I truely believe this place is more than just a mall shop. It's a legit boba/bubble tea place!

I didn't even know what this place sold at first since I was more interested in the shop's interior design and ironically rustic (because BARNabas but its ran by hipsters) style! But the drinks kept me coming back after getting past the confusion of what I was supposed to be ordering the baristas were a big help with figuring what my drink preferences were! HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Blended peach green tea with vanilla boba OR blended kiwi green tea with strawberry boba. (Boba are the cute flavor-filled bubbles.)

This is the best place in town to get a nice tasty drink! I won't lie, I usually only get boba tea, but still! The service is always wonderful, and the staff is super friendly (even when busy)! They really care about their customers.

I am so completely hooked on Bubble Tea! I seriously have not found a kind that I don't like! It is all so good! A definite awesome addition to West Ridge Mall!

The employee giving free samples acted annoyed when I walked by multiple times after she never offered a free sample, even after I made eye-contact.

Been a customer for years, Kevin and his family always make me feel like family. The dedication to quality in each cup, personalized attention, and flavor has always been great, abd if it's ever not they do everything they can to make it right. Love to see them expanding and thriving in spite of location issues. Glad to see games and tables in the space, a fun addition!

The staff is very knowledgable on diverse types of teas, kombucha, chia, etc. The scones and treats are delicious! The nitro chai is amazing, as well as the matcha and ceremonial matcha.

Just placed an order online last night at Cafe Barnabas and ordered a tea seeper and some red hot tea leaves, not necessarily expecting it to be delivered the next day. But sure enough the next day at about 6 p.m. they dropped off my order, In a brown paper bag my order was placed on my porch, doorbell rung and backed away a little so I could get my delivery, then we exchanged pleasantries and he got back in his car and onto the next delivery.Highly recommend them! I've been to Cafe Barnabas in the mall and had red hot bubble tea, it's my favorite. And so while we are all confined to our houses I wanted to give it a try. Came out tasting fantastic. They are also doing curbside pick up which I haven't done yet but I might do to get a bubble tea.
