Cafe Bahnhof-German Restaurant

(Herr) Dieter is a real German, and this food is hard to beat. Great service too! He actually noticed me typing this review and informed me my "food was getting cold"... he takes pride in his cooking, and rightfully so.

After wanting to come here for years, Friday night it finally happened! My son moved back Alva, and I was missing him so much, I called him and told him I was taking him on a road-trip to eat at Cafe Bahnhof.My son's friends came with us, so we all had such a great time and ordered basically anything we wanted. Our sausage appetizer was really good, as was our entrees and desserts. And don't forget to order beer! I lived in Germany for a time and cafe bahnhof was as authentic as you can get. Actually better in my opinion. I even met Dieter, the owner, and he was as nice as can be! I can't wait until the bier garten opens up.Next time I go I'm getting the Schweine Haxen! It looked fabulous and yes you do see it on the menu everywhere in Germany.

The best German food ever served, in my opinion. Reservations are necessary for a reason. The weather was perfect so everyone was dining outside. I did not see the inside, and I'll check it out again when I return in the fall. The mustard sauce for the pretzel was delicious, ask for an extra serving when you order this appetizer. The Jaeger Schnitzel was tender and flavorful. The Spaetzle is freshly made and full of flavor. It's usually hit or miss with me and this place hits the mark!

I mean...you don't have much of a choice...One of the most random places I've ever eaten. Waynoka, OK is a sleepy little town of maybe a couple thousand inhabitants that you don't visit unless you know someone that already lives there or you're hitting the sand dunes at Little Sahara.Having said that, your eatery options are somewhere between nonexistent and the Jiffy Trip gas station deli at the corner of Santa Fe and Main streets.Insert this random place...not much to say aside from the fact that it is random and it is German. No real complaints aside from my schnitzel being a little tough and the owner closing the main eating area inside to use as his personal smoking lounge....what are you going to do, go to a different restaurant that's actually open in this town? welcome to Waynoka.

Amazing! So far the best restaurant in Oklahoma! Definitely worth the drive, don't forget to make a reservation! Pretzel was awesome! I had the Goulash and my husband the Jaeger schnitzel! SOO Good!

The restaurant was completely empty. Yet the owner proceeded to kick us out of the restaurant due to not having reservations. We asked if we could order to-go and he also refused to do so. He stared at us racistly until we started walking out and told us "it sucks". Don't bother coming to this place to deal with a rude and racist owner in a power hungry trip in his empty restaurant.

Absolutely outstanding food!!! At this time the main restaurant isn't open we ate in the Biergarten!!! Very warm setting, the meal flavor was melt in your mouthDefinitely will be back !

Service was great. Food was great and authentic. It's odd for such a good place to be found in such a small town. It's a must try.

Went here excited. Left disappointed. Ordered the schnitzel and it came out burnt. We sent it back and the owner/cook called the person returning the schnitzel a p*ssy. Will not return to the establishment. And highly recommend nobody support this horrible man's business.
