"After reading some interesting information about Deer Creek Mercantile in Deer Creek Ok. My wife and I made the 110 mile road trip to check it out for our selves.Downtown Deer Creek consists of two brick structures. One is the Deer Creek Mercantile. The building was built in 1905 and has history significants. The best I can tell it is located on the only paved street in town. All the rest are dirt. My wife and I have some physical issues and found it difficult accessing the front door. Later we discovered a handicap ramp on the back of the store. There were two young ladies running the store. Who we found to be friendly and helpful. There was only one other elderly couple in the store during our visit. The gentleman I talked to told me that they must be lost. Stated that this Mercantile was nothing like the advertisement. They actually thought they were at Rea Drummonds mercantile. He said they came all the way from Arizona and was very disappointed. He bowed his head when I agreed with him being lost. The mercantile he was looking for is about 75 miles away in Pawhuska The store itself had a couple of antique wagons and some old papers outlining the construction of the mercantile. They also had some old time gum, candy and toys. They also sell some clothes and other merchandise. ."

"I love looking for the latest style and new designer brands. I love how I can go into the store and the set up is just perfect. You can find lots of new styles here all the time. The store is full of color. Also I like how they have a lot of white in the store to make everything stick out more. If our looking for a unique swell water bottle, come here! They have every type you could imagine with designs on it to sinks solid colors. Including solid hot pink! Sometimes they have items on the sidewalk steep discounted. Great place to go to look for a great new dress for spring/summer or even a casual fun summer dress occasion."

"Lucinda's is one my favorite gift shops ever. It's a very trendy little store in Oldtown that sells clothing, jewelry, handbags, lamps, accessories, etc. It's a very unique mix of stuff too; you'll find things here that you won't find in your typical gift shop. Being a big Beatles fan, I was pleasantly surprised to find several unusual Beatles/John Lennon gifts, including a necklace with my favorite song lyrics ever, "You may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one". A few other things I took home: a set of silver candlesticks for my mom, a blue beaded handbag and Marie Antoinette's sugary head on a stick. Take your credit card, it can be a bit pricey!"

"I was walking by and noticed the cute signs in front of the store. The window had cute clothes so I decided to walk in. I was immediately greeted and welcomed in. The owner asked if I was looking for anything specific. I told her I was just browsing and we kept talking. She was so nice and friendly. They started as a pop up boutique and opened their brick and mortar store a year ago. It is very organized and the items they carry are clearly intentionally curated. There was even a whole section for Fourth of July outfits--super cute! The selection included a good combination of tops, bottoms, dresses, jumpsuits, and even accessories like hats, bags, jewelry and cosmetics. The prices were common of other boutiques, with a sale section towards the back. They also have an online store so you can browse before you go or simply purchase online. If you sign up to receive their newsletter, you get 15% off your purchase!"

"I would like to start by saying I'm a frequent flyer of Johnston's Clothiers, but I recently went in and realized I had not left a review previously. Hands-down, I think it's the best men's clothing store in Wichita. Yes, prices for the products they sell are somewhat expensive but that is due to the quality of those items and are similar to other high-end men's stores. I am most impressed with whoever does the buying because the mix of items, brands, and designer labels that they maintain is always great! When I need something specific or am looking for a statement, I can go here with assurance of finding something every time. In fact, I usually find several somethings because of the abundance of choices they keep. They seem to always hit the mark and often exceed my expectations.!The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that on numerous occasions, the shoe I find there is not in stock in my size (size 12) which i don't think of as a rare size.So gentlemen, when you need a specific piece or special occasion digs, go to the one store that can dress you from head to toe and make you look and feel like a million without spending the bank. You should check out Johnston's Clothiers if you like the finer things in life. I predict you will be happy you did so!"

The clothes are varied to cover the style of three generarions of women. The price point is higher than average, but you are getting wonderful quality and supporting a women lead small business. (Take my money!) The shop-girls were welcoming and accommodating. They helped to find sizes and styles that we were very happy with. "Long's is one of the last long term family store. When you do business with Long's, you become part of that family. They remember you when you come in and are right there to assist you with your needs. Wrangler Jean's and Levi Jean's for the whole family. Wonderful brands of western shirts in all sizes as well. "Wichita is missing out on what other larger cities already have, amazing boutiques. Luckily, we do have a handful of some really good ones like Apricot Lane. The store is well organized and full of bright colors. They have some the latest and greatest styles! This past winter they had a handful of scarves that just flew off the shelf so fast! In the summer they carry some of the cutest dresses and styles. They tried active ware, but I personally wasn't a fan of it. I love how their willing to take the risk and try new things. Sometimes it works for a boutique and other times it doesn't. Their summer sandals are usually comfortable and pair well with all of their clothing. In the back right of the store they always have a sale rack. Items range from as cheap as $4.99 up to $19.99 most of the time. You can always find bargain deal on the rack!! Great steals!! Check this store out and get on their email list. They will send you emails regarding events they put on to make shopping more fun."
