I got an appointment for a free consultation the same day. The consultation only took about 10 min and it was worth it to meet the stylist first so they can get a better idea of how long the appointment would take. Richard is now my stylist. I must say, he is very pleasant to hang out with for 4 hours while getting your hair done! We talked the whole time. He is super nice and friendly. Along the way he gave me styling tips, which I welcome. I'm extremely happy with the results as well! The prices for the services were reasonable (then again, I'm from the west coast where this sort of thing is expensive). The products were on the pricey-side, though. Overall, I'm glad I came to this salon. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. The salon is very modern with high-end products. The wash bowl stations and heat stations are also comfortable. I've sat in some at other salons back home that were not!"

Beautiful salon. I changed from my old place for different reasons and was blown away. Andrea consulted with me about my concerns and I ended up seeing a new person in the mirror with the perfect cut for my type of hair, which was more than I'd hoped for. I'm so happy I chose Fringe to try out of all the salons in east Wichita!

I've had bad experiences with a few nail salons in Wichita, but this place was AMAZING. I had Ann. She was so gentle, making sure not to cut me, and she really took her time with my nails. She would ask me periodically if my nails were looking like the way I wanted them. Everyone there was so kind and the value was great. I will definitely be going back!

I used to love this place when Heather worked there. About 2 years ago, Heather left. I called to get an appointment awhile back and she wasn't there anymore. They set me up with another girl. I was disappointed, as I'd been going there for years with Heather, and when I asked where she went, they said they didn't know and she had left no contact information. The girl that cut my hair gave me "The super cuts $10 treatment" that I'd remembered from growing up. She didn't want to wash my hair first, and I insisted. She didn't layer my hair at all when I had asked her to shape up the layers. She cut my hair several inches shorter than I wanted. She didn't thin out my hair with the special layering shears and she wanted to send me on my way without blow drying or styling my hair. I had to tell her that I needed a blow dry and style. This was a $35 cut. My hair looked horrible! I hunted down and found Heather, who now works at Salon Teased. Heather informed me that they were supposed to give her old clients her new location. Because of their dishonesty, I will never go to Extraordinaire again. Oh, and it has taken me almost 2 years to grow the length back on my hair.

I had a few mani/pedis back then. Recently I had a mani/pedi at the new place and LOVED it. Loved the ladies who did the work, loved the relaxing time with one of my friends, and loved the general ambience of the salon. And the owners are still nice & friendly. I highly recommend doing business with these fine folks."
