"Please do not be fool by the good pictures. I was disappointed and not impressed by the rolls. The sashimi plate were not as fresh except for the salmon. The sashimi fish were put on top of little tree branches which were not clean. The rolls were filled with too much rice and cucumbers. It barely had any avocado/fish/crab. The rolls were not put together properly. I watched the lady rolled the sushi and she did a sloppy job. The shrimp tempura was stale and had the freezer aftertaste. I will not come back here again. I realized a lot of people had good reviews but they are most likely came in to eat for fried rice, bento and hibachi food, not for their sushi. They said up to 50% of sushi but really it is not any cheaper than other sushi place. If you want good sushi, do not come here."

"I'm impressed. Actually, I'm blown away! My mom and I were in Stillwater for a baseball game and we were craving anything besides burgers and bbq (no-offense)... we were surprised to find this new concept/fast casual poke restaurant. I was amazed by the quality! I've had poke in Hawaii so my standards have been set pretty high.... this place is probably the best I've had in Oklahoma! Hands down. The ambience was welcoming and modern. And the customer service was outstanding! Their menu is simple but at the same time, the options vary so your taste buds can go on a sushi/poke adventure! I had the sushi burrito (I've only had these out-of-state so I was excited to see one on the menu) and wow, that first bite blew my mind! It was super crispy, savory and fresh! Adding wonton chips was genius!!! And you get a lot of food for only $10. My mom had some shrimp tempura & miso soup and she enjoyed it! She said the miso soup was full of flavor!If I was a college kid in Stillwater, I be a regular! It's that good and I would want to try everything on the menu! Go ahead and give Nooki a try if you're in the area!"

"I have been here a bunch of times - yay I am currently the Duke - and only at the lunch hour. Their lunch specials are awesome and they basically are priced at the cost of a sandwich... but you're eating sushi or a bento box.The sushi is pretty good for the midwest - it would be unfair to compare it to what I can have in my hometown San Francisco - and I am a fan. Wasabi has 3 sushi lunch specials ranging from $8.95 to $10.95 and 5 bento box specials. I have tried them all and the quality value ratio is compelling.On a friday I had their hot sake and it was yummy. Whenever in Old Town on business, I will definitely come here.Seriously, I come here at least twice every week that I'm in town."

"What a gem in this little city! The restaurant offers terrific sushi and table-side cooking! The sushi is fresh and tasty! That's what we tried and there wasn't a bit of disappointment. The sushi boat is enough to feed two to three people and is the best option for those who like to share! The service was excellent, even though they appeared to be a bit short-handed and they can accommodate wheelchair and walker customers with ease. Who knew in the middle of America, somewhere in Kansas, there would be a small restaurant with such good food! If you live here, or are just passing through, it is well worth the drop in! The saki is served warm, just as it should be and the sushi is served cold and fresh. Good eating!"

"I come from Kansas City and I am working in Salina temporarily. I have been here twice and I really enjoy it. I haven't got to try everything on the menu yet but their sushi is top notch and I really enjoy the chicken fried udon entree. The service is great, and it hasn't ever been a long wait to pick up my food. We have many great places like this in KC, so I am extremely happy to find this place here during my 3 month stint. Honestly this place could move and open to KC and probably put several places out of business. The only negative I would give is- a larger portion of wasabi for the sushi order. I have no problem asking for it, and I will going forward. PS: a must eat if in Salina and you like this type of food. She does an amazing job and always smiling."

"Stopped in for lunch and was impressed at the lunch menu. Great pricing on hibachi, and sushi so we choose to do both. The food came out quickly and we had barely finished our beef broth soup. The soup was very hot and had a lot of flavor. The hibachi wasn't too salty and the veggies were perfection... I don't think that I've ever loved broccoli until today.The server checked on us periodically but the pace was relaxed and the overall vibe is peaceful. Will come again next time we're in the area."

"Eh a solid three in Kansas is probably a five all things considered for sushi. Service was prompt and thorough. I ordered edamame, and egg rolls and two sushi rolls. Egg rolls were deep fried and tasty but greasy in a good way. The $5 plum saki was ok. Edamame was as expected. The two rolls looked good but they just didn't hit the spot. I left all but two bites of the deep fried roll behind. Tasted like sausage inside. That was oddNothing terrible but I wouldn't come back. By 7pm it was getting busy on a Wednesday night."

I think because it's a small town and they were getting ready to close, the service was lacking. Our server didn't even know what beers they offered. I'm from Vegas and I'm used to a certain standard of service. I'm not going to give them a hard time but I would like to see better service. The sushi was ok but nothing to rave about."

"This visit was my first time at Mizumi. I placed an order online (super easy to do) for pick up. I ordered a Cali roll, Dragon roll, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken (kept it basic for the first visit) for two people. The sushi rolls are small but they were great. I would come back and try a few more of their sushi rolls and other items on the menu. They give you a large amount on the chicken fried rice. Keep up the good work, Mizumi!"

"While traveling from Wichita, Kansas to Newkirk, Oklahoma, (No, I'm not on Witness Protection), I had an incredibly hard time finding an open restaurant on Sunday evening.But, through Yelp, I found - of all places a Sushi Steak house in Arkansas City.This is a quaint little place, which cooks its Steaks and Seafood via a hibachi grill. You can't sit at or around the grill, in fact you can't even see the grill, but they have nice cozy booths.I sampled the sushi and sashimi selections. A few spicy rolls, the fresh salmon and tuna and asked if the Chef had a favorite unique roll they love making...*Crickets*Our server just pointed back at the menu...I was pleasantly surprised, not overwhelmed, but surprised. The sushi was fresh, and delivered in really respectable portions. The assortment of spicy rolls were plentiful and delicious...but not really spicy. I tried the Spicy Girl and the Jalapeño Roll. Honestly, I was expecting much, so I'm happy with this find in Arc City- spoken like a true native."

Stacy greeted us and said they were out of Huli Huli chicken but was making more if we could wait about 15 minutes which we did. She said they had been busy and sold out of most of their stuff. We also ordered the teriyaki beef. I got the Hawaiian fried rice which was fantastic. All the food was awesome from the rice to the macaroni salad to the main dishes. We will definitely be going back to try more of the menu. Prices were very good for the amount of food you get."

Please communicate well and the food will be done the way you want it perfectly! Their steak and salmon meal is a really good choice. The place can feel a little crowded when there are multiple party families(families of 6 or more). They will do their best to accommodate. They did for us. If your ever traveling around Garden City then this would be a good spot to try."
