"Pumphouse nails it! Great( and generous food portions) reasonably priced drinks, TV's everywhere and most important, wonderful Midwest hospitality! They do a great job of making a first timer feel like a local. Nostalgia about the place ( former gas station!) and area is very cool, but it's the customer service and the staff that sets it apart! Anyone and everyone will take care of you. Inside/outside- 3 outdoor patios and plenty of space inside. So let's talk about food.... The large portions and in house food creations are excellent. Pizza, wings and burgers are all among the best. The prices.....I'm afraid to comment as I want to make sure it's not too crowded next time I'm town. I love finding local places to be and this is one of my tops!"

"Best dinner restaurant in Great Bend. Food was delivered hot. The chicken tenders were the best I have ever had have ever had. Christian was very attentive and went out of his way to get a Coke Zero for my wife. On your next visit, ask to sit at one of his tables. The restaurant was quiet but still had an upscale family restaurant feel, with just a few TVs for sports. The restaurant is located BEHIND the Perkins. It's a must-visit for your next visit to Great Bend, KS."

"Food was fine. I got the Reuben sandwich with French fries and gravy. I expected brown gravy, like is served with French fries in Canada. Whoops. My mistake for having expectations - it was white gravy. The food was fine. The tables were fine. The TVs are on all over the place. Some very loud women were very drunk and obnoxiously loud in the bar, and walking around the restaurant. They were super loud. Holy moly. The one TV (projector screen) is enormous. It had a rodeo on. I'm not from this area at all. I guess a rodeo is a fun thing for people in this area. I found it ... bordering on disturbing. Friends of mine really love this restaurant and eat here quite a bit. Based on that recommendation, my expectations were probably set too high. I expected really good food. The food was fine and I ate it all. I wouldn't say anything was anywhere near exceptional though. I guess it was a half step above "meh."I AM glad they have Mug root beer. No caffeine in that root beer, so I could have that instead of just water everywhere else I go in Kansas. (Barq's has caffeine and I have to stay away from caffeine due to my heart problems.)The place was clean. Food got served without utensils. My water didn't come until I asked 3 times. The food was meh or one step up. So, 4 stars. I wouldn't object to eating here again. But I won't seek it out either."

"First time here and won't be the last. My aunt and I tried two different burgers, cut each of them in half so that we could try both. The Mushroom Swiss burger was slightly better than the Jalapeno Cheeseburger, but they were both absolutely delicious and I wouldn't change one thing. The onion rings and ranch dipping sauce were also delicious--beers, too. Comfortable, casual atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Better quality than most burger places and much more affordable than you would expect."

Always prompt, attentive and super nice. Our server/waitress was Katie. Very personable hard working and super pleasant. She made our day. Or evening with her great attitude. Plan on going back to this quaint little bar."

"Giving a 4 star rating because the Cheeseburger was one of the better burgers we've had in a sports bar. 1/3 pond of quality beef that was a nice thick patty that went to the edge of the bun. Nice setup with it as well. The fries were not too greasy.. Rueben was okay. The meat was thickly sliced instead of wafered, which as a result made it harder to eat. The ratio of meat, kraut, and sauce was off. Meat overwhelmed. Homemade chips were good. Atmosphere is good, lots of screens for watching the game. Changed it to the game we requested. Nice selection of beers and spirits that are locally brewed and domestic to choose from. They are happy to provide you with a sample of locally brewed beverages. Good place for groups, couples or a group of friends going out. They have a pool table, dart board and other electronic games.We'll be back."

Not sure when it reopened, but we are taking advantage of the cheap wings today!It is nice and cool in here. The music is not too loud and the waitress was friendly and helpful. As always, the food is tasty and plentiful."

"I go to Tailgators Sports Pub and Grub for Taco Tuesdays. This bar is very clean, a little on the utilitarian side with lots of metal such as tall tables and stools, a bar with wooden chairs and large booths. There are lots of TV sets and sports decor. I have never ordered any food other than the tacos on Taco Tuesday at noon time. They are $0.75 each. Regular size taco shells with fresh lettuce, shredded cheese and flavorful taco seasoning on the ground taco meat. I order three tacos and a Diet Rite cola at a cost of $3.75. Can't beat that for lunch. And I love RC Cola which Diet Rite is an RC Cola brand. The restaurant fills up fast as soon as the bar opens at 11:00am, so other people must like Taco Tuesdays as well."

"This one is pretty cut and dry. Decent food, nice staff. There ya go! While there isn't too much to say about Tin Lizard other than it's kind of a Hard Rock Cafe knockoff with guitars on the walls and a "rock 'n' roll" theme'd menu, there also isn't too much to complain about. The staff always seems a bit understaffed and the constant flow of casino regulars cashing in their free food steals a ton of attention away from the patrons paying at the bar. The food ain't half bad, but it aint half good either. It does seem to come out differently at different times of the day as the pizza was pretty good at night but during the day it left something to be desired. The taco salad was something you'd be happy to whip up at home but a little cheated when paying for it, but my buddy did say the potato soup was quite good... heartburn impending. Unless you're going to the steakhouse or the small cafe, this is your only real option for food. Take what you can get, I suppose!"

"This is place is a hidden Jem as far as food goes...they have loaded garlic fires that will make you gain 5 LB before you leave! The drinks are made with love and bartenders are pretty friendly! The only thing I not fond of is the smoking but to each their own. ALSO I forgot to mention if you have a little to much to drink and get an Uber home they will give a discount! Best bar around time watch the games at!!"

"The last time I was here, the place was called Cy's and Tuesday was steak night. Now, the Tuesday feature is tacos for .99 each. Order several or you will have to wait, because these tacos are GREAT! The waitress is busy delivering drinks and tacos to tables full of hungry patrons. Beer flows from the tap like a waterfall, filling glass after glass of tasty beer to go with those delicious tacos.The decor looks about the same as when I visited a few years ago, but the atmosphere has changed. It is decidedly friendlier, more family friendly, because I saw little kids at a table eating tacos too.While relaxing, there are plenty of pool tables and dart boards to get your game on. We enjoyed our time here and will be back again soon."

"We do not frequent Applebees, but after a long day driving in the midst of storms and wildfires we stopped in here for late night dinner before checking into our hotel and let me say....KYLA!!!!! Bartender was amazing! She was on top of it. From kitchen to tables she multi tasked and made sure everyone was taken care of. Even when other staff was supposed to be taking care of tables. Thank you Kyla for making our experience a great one."

"This place was chill. The drink prices are super inexpensive! I ordered Henny & OJ & it totaled to $5.50 w. tax :) the mild wings were delicious and a great size. My babe ordered a grilled chicken sandwhich wrap with sweet potatoe fries. He said the wrap was beyond delicious and the sweet potatoe fries were so fresh. They also had a pool table in the background room that was free! It was a little cold back there but the bartender/server was super friendly. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to grab a drink or two in a chill/relaxed environment"
