"We are in Augusta to visit the Wife's family and stopped by Hildago's for lunch. The overall experience was great. The restaurant is clean and the service was very quick. The wife and I ordered the #2 combo meal which consisted of a taco, enchilada, rice and beans. The food was very good! We will stop by again next time we come through Kansas."
"The vibe is awesome! Cozy booths, great service! Steven the bartender was our server and he was such a Joy to have! They accommodated my crazy food requests and everything was delightful!!! Would go back in a heartbeat."
"A hidden gem for sure! We had to celebrate our girls birthday. Renee is 35 (again) and fabulous. We really loved Amore Italian Restaurant and will definitely go there again! The food was fantastic, and the service was awesome. The fresh rolls were a great addition to the meal. The calamari with red sauce was so good and had a little bit of a "kick" to it. We enjoyed calamari and raviolis for appetizers, spaghetti and meatballs, the tour of Italy, and of course, tiramisu for the birthday dessert! So many more items on their menu that we want to try. 5 Stars! 2315 W. 21st St. N. "We had a very nice Sunday lunch here. The food was good, service was excellent, the place is clean and neat. My lady had a fantastic chicken fajita quesadilla. I had an enchilada and chile relleno. They have a huge menu and I can't wait to go back to explore some of their specialty dishes. A good stop!"
"Best seafood place ever!! Totally recommend, the service is awesome and the place is amazing!"
"We decided to try this restaurant before we left Wichita. It is situated in a great location by the park and shopping area. Most guests get to view the park and the band outside while dining. The band played some nice slow music, nothing loud. This is a beautiful and well-maintained restaurant. The staffers seemed energetic and well-trained. We had a girl named Alexis as our waitress, and she was quick, professional, and friendly.Hubby ordered Wedge Salad, and I had Arugula Salad to start. We liked the arugula salad better than the wedge salad. My Arugula Salad is served with goat cheese and Apple slices. Then Hubby got Creekstone RibEye, and I had Trout Amandine. My Trout was exceptional! I loved it! Even Hubby enjoyed it too, although he's not a fish eater. The double vegetable served with my fish was awesome because broccolini is my favorite vege and Hubby's dinner came with it too.Last but not least, we ended the chapter with banana bread pudding! It was amazing! Anything that makes me plum is amazing! I can't believe they allowed me to order this unbelievably enticing dessert. Who's in charge? Anyway, we had a great time dining in Wichita! Thank you for the great food, service, and hospitality!"
"Food was hot, well seasoned, and came out fast. The restaurant was clean, had well designed decor, and friendly staff. The prices were slightly on the higher side but for decent tex mex food with decent service, be willing to pay higher than taco truck prices."
"What a wonderful find in a small town. The restaurant was full of local workers, a great sign that the food is good. The mural on the entrance is cute. The ice is the great barrel kind. I was one of a party of four. We all really enjoyed our lunch. Chicken chimichanga was good. Lunch (mixed) fajitas had more meat than veggies and was really good! The quesabirria (daily special) was so delicious. And I really enjoyed the enchiladas Suizas. I will stop here when I travel in the future."
"Can't say anything bad about Los Vaquitos! Everything was delicious. We had 2 tacos and a burrito with rice and beans. I'm a girl from Texas and rice is a make it or break it on going back. The rice was excellent! Salsa was perfect and for those who like it hot, it's a must try. We definitely will be back!"
"I arrived around 7:30 to place my to-go order. I was promptly greeted and ordered. The waiter was very helpful. The restaurant was neat and clean. Very beautiful decor. My food was ready in a reasonable amount of time and looked and smelled delicious. We got two solo bowls and wow wow shrimp. The food was fresh, veggies were crisp. We loved the flavor and will be back. Thank you."

The Food and service is top notch. I recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp (spicy) or chicken fried rice. Big chunks of chicken. Both are terrific. Ambiance is good. Family friendly or for date night just the two of you.

The dining atmosphere is very nice. The wait staff very friendly and never did we have to wait for them. The tables all have white table clothes. The food is amazing. The best Italian food in a long time finally in Wichita! Homemade sauces and bread fantastic place! We go there every week! I judge an Italian restaurant by its spaghetti sauce and let me tell you everyone else fails badly! Amore is so wonderful you have to try it! Only one drawback no draft service. Every beer in bottles but to make up for it they give you a very frosty mug!

This place is like spotting a white Buffalo. A great seafood place in Enid, Oklahoma. Seafood should be within driving distance of a sea coast. I have had wonderful seafood ion Seattle, on the Gulf Coast fromTexas to Florida. Now, much to my surprise, I have had good seafood in northern Oklahoma.I have tried it several times just to see if it was a fluke. It was not. It has been good to amazing every time I have been there. Give it a try if you are also a seafood fan.

"What a find! We stayed in Salina on our way back to Denver and were pleasantly surprised at what a great, old school, family Italian restaurant this is! Our waiter was the owner's nephew and he did a great job. The food was outstanding and the price/portion ratio was the way an Italian restaurant should be. I got the 1/4 order spaghetti and one meatball and my wife got the stuffed mushrooms (amazing) and a 1/4 order chop salad. All delicious! Loved this place and we will go out of our way to come back."
"Absolutely stunning ambiance, views, service and menu! Can't wait to see what comes of this beautiful place!"
"We were traveling like always and trying to local out of the way places to eat. We were close to Hebron,Ne after driving in the cold rain for 3 hours. We found 3 Compadres. The service was excellent and the foiod was way beyond expectations. We will be making this a regular stop on our way to Arkansas in the future."
"I love this food truck. I was not going to stop because I am Leary about food trucks but the chicken, veggies and rice were great. I have not tried much else from there but I do recommend. Price was good too"
"My absolute favorite Thai place in Wichita! This is my boyfriend and I's go to spot when we're craving Thai Food.Portions are huge and delicious! We've enjoyed everything we've tried. Our favorites are pad see ew and panang curry!"
"Excellent selection of varied foods. Excellent service. A hole in the wall that will keep you coming back!"
"Firebirds is a reliably solid American style cuisine national chain. I've visited locations across several states and they're dependably good. I typically go for their burgers, salads, and good bar areas."
"The food was hot and tasted great. Friendly service. The ambiance was pretty unique. It has a good vibe and friendly atmosphere."
"When received check for meal, they add $3.00 tip for large party. There was 5 of us. The front step into the business is quite high, not very handicapped accessible, especially for wheelchairs."
"Ok.... let's put it out there.... you cannot judge a place from the outside, nor on the decor. And yes, you have to drive through JC to get here. You might think it's too far from the freeway to bother. It isn't! Saw the 4-star rating, so thought we'd try it out. Outside, it's near a strip club. Inside, the dining room looks like the store room. And basically tables and chairs and a well worn rug. But, this isn't important. The Food. Amazing. Large order of shrimp fried rice, Happy Family, Fried Dumplings (yaki-mandu), and two free egg rolls. The mixture in the Happy Family was perfect but the meat so tender. Fried Rice was good, not greasy. And, gave us enough to bring home to eat a second meal. Again, Book by its cover. But if you want Chinese. This IS the place."
"The seafood buffet. Not that good. Not sure what the hype is. I suppose if that's the only seafood you have had maybe it's good but I wouldn't recommend it. Now ima go get some food else where after 25$ for the buffet"
"Great food very generous portion size. Used drive through and was very fast and fresh"
"Love this place. Not in the best area 9f Denver for sure but food is the best Chinese food I've ever tried. Very nice people, huge plates."
"Food was delicious: our steaks were cooked just right and the bourbon chicken was the best made chicken I've ever had. But the star of the meal was the dessert. I tried the butter toffee (or something like that) cake with vanilla bean ice cream. I can hardly wait to go back! The ambiance was nice and the service was wonderful, even on a busy Friday night! The manager personally checked in with us multiple times."
"https://elmezcaltopeka.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/elmez-front.jpg With the Topeka Capitol Dome in view, you can enjoy a wonderful lunch or dinner at El Mezcal restaurant. friendly, attentive service, with delectable food choices, we will be stopping here again!"
"Nice, local basic Mexican food, nice size portions and reasonable prices. It has been open less than a year. We were there on a Friday for lunch. Steady, local lunch crowd. Good lunch specials, service was fast, friendly and attentive servers and staff. Very good $5 house marg, top shelf available. Nice addition to the area, we'll be back."
"Great food. South central Kansas, along U.S. Route 400, in Kingman, Kansas, resides Jeri's Kitchen. A family-style restaurant serving the area for over 25 years, Jeri's offers a plethora of foodie stuffs like fried chicken, roast beef, pulled pork, Mexican food, salads, sandwiches, delicious breakfasts, Daylight Donuts and soft-serve ice cream dips! Jeri's Re-Opened in Aug. 2011 after a fire destroyed the building in Dec. of 2010. They offer catering and carry out. Make a point to visit. You'll be glad you did."
"Alright, I've been coming here for a while, every time I've had to work in this small town in southern Kansas in fact. THIS IS BY FAR, the best restaurant with the best dishes in the region, period. And I'm talking ANYWHERE in the region. Nothing comes close. This is literally as authentic as eating somewhere on the west coast of Mexico.I don't know how they do it. The seafood is fresh, fresh, fresh! They bring in live lobsters every Thursday, fresh. The spices and sauces are EXACTLY what you'd find on the beaches along Sinaloa and Nayarit.Service is always courteous, smiles, attentive, welcoming. I love this place. I cannot be in town and not eat here at least once, three times if possible.Hope you enjoy my photos!"
"Stopped here driving back to Kansas City from Denver and was really glad we did. We both had KC Strips, baked potatoes and salad. Strips were cooked just right and were even good the second time around warmed up. Warm rolls with cinnamon butter! Service was excellent. Parking was easy. Highly suggest stopping by and trying this locally owned place."
"The staff are freindly. The restursnt is airy. The menu is not a lot of items. The salad had some bad lettuce. The napkins have a very strong dryer sheet smell."
"Excellent Italian place!Came here for a quick lunch.1) Place is clean, welcoming, and classy.2) Waitress was very friendly and very attentive.3) Food: Appetizers and Main Courses were excellent! We ordered several pasta dishes, appetizers, Eggplant Parmesan... and more. The cheesy bread was excellent.I will be returning to this place next time we are in town. Please give them a try!"
"Read about this restaurant on a blog recently & found that this is ran by the son of the owner of the former Wichita Fish Co. We really loved the old place so we stopped by for supper. They located in the original Tacos TJ664 building. Not much seating so carry out was the option for us. They were BUSY & that's a great sign for the success of this restaurant. We placed our order & waited in the car. There were a few people ahead of us but things moved quickly. The food was hot & fresh. We ordered the catfish snack box, fried clam strips & popcorn shrimp. The catfish fillets were huge, seasoned well & coated in corn meal. The clam strips were good too & the cocktail sauce was a good addition. I'm told that the popcorn shrimp was tasty & it was a LOT of shrimp. All in all, this is still my favorite catfish in town. We'll definitely be back again & hope you stop by to see how delicious everything is."
"Great experience at Rolling Hills with a large group on a Monday evening. Service was fantastic - our server kept drinks filled and always had a smile. The ambiance is rustic yet pleasant and comfortable. Music playing was solid 80's on the night we joined. The menu selection is huge to easily suit all in the party. And food was great! From apps to entrees, all were happy. Pickle chips, jalapeño poppers, fried okra, quesadillas - all tasty! Our party had a wide variety of entrees and we heard many compliments! If you're looking for a place near Emporia, yet something different, give Rolling Hills a try!"
