"We only stayed here for one night, but we had a great experience! We were in LL2, which was super close to the lake! The property is clean and the staff was very nice. They have back in spots with power and the septic dump is in the center of the property near the showers. The cost is reasonable at $35 a night. We would definitely stay here again! We took a paddle boat for a spin and my kiddo had an awesome time! That was an excellent addition to the experience."
"Very well kept RV park. We were here for a one night stay and plan to come back to this park when we next are in Wichita. Managers are very friendly and efficient. Enjoyed our brief stop at the top of the park looking over a field!"
"Beaumont Hotel is located in such a quiet area in the Flint Foothills. When you need to get away from all the rat race of the city then this would could be the ticket. The Hotel is historical, and so is the last wooden train water tower. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing. I haven't ever stayed overnight but would love too someday. The Inn keepers are so friendly and ready to please. The second Sunday of each month from March to Oct is a Motorcycle breakfast run. The food is to die for, you must try the biscuits and gravy with the breakfast buffet, the biscuits just melt in your mouth. There is a little airfield and the planes taxis down the street and park beside the inn. There are many places to visit that are close by that are also historical. If you get a chance stop and check it out..."
"We were coming home to Missouri from Wyoming, called to see if any spots available, left a message, received a phone call back right away, said had spots and could register on line, I'm not good with online, so he said he would call back when he got home and get all the information, which I thought was great. He called back and took all my information and emailed me the gate code . After we arrived he called and checked on us to make sure we we settled in.A young man that was there came out and offered if we needed any help also, while talking to him , he told us how to get the Chiefs game on my phone!!We aren't very good with that sort of thing!Easy assess to the highway, level spots!Great overnight stop!!!"
"SUPER nice guy. He was helpful and friendly over the phone, and then when we arrived he was there on his four wheeler waiting for us and escorted us to our site AND then helped us back into our site-- got off of his four wheeler and turned on his flashlight for us and backed us in. He was chatty and very sweet. Absolutely would recommend and come back!!"
"This place is open, ignore everything saying otherwise. Convenient, full hookup, 50-amp, pull through. Perfect - correct number is 316-315-9376"
"The service at this store is next to none the are so helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of guns hunting whatever you need they have a bid selection of everything you need from guns ammo beer liquor they are great on there prices as well keep up the great work thanks guys"
"This place has seemingly many more amenities than others is the Wichita area. It offers toilets, showers, a pay laundry facility, a little beat up basketball hoop, frisbee golf things, a swing set, small pond ( maybe for fishing ? ), a sewage lagoon and spotty wi-fi. I'm told they offer cable tv too, but my camper does not have a television, so there's that. You may notice the occasional train horn and freeway noise, as it's right off I-35, but I just put on some headphones at bedtime and everything was just fine. The park has many different lots, some pull through and some not. But most that I have seen have power, water and sewer. As others have said, there is a restaurant ( Huddle House ) next to the Flying J / Pilot gas station on the other side of I-35. I'm headed there next. All in all, probably worth a stop for a night or two."
"My husband has been traveling full time for his job for 8 years so we have seen many many RV parks all over the US. I just recently joined him full time and I have to say I wasn't very excited to go to Ponca City, but we found this little gem and it was definitely worth the stay. Large concrete pads, very manicured grass lots in between the spacious sites. It's a little place, but fierce! Clean laundry and bath facility. Super friendly staff especially the owner, Tanya, who went way out of her way to accommodate us. There are a lot of parks including a beautiful botanical garden to roam around and a huge lake about 10 minutes away. I would gladly come back here.Oh sidenote....we have stayed at well over 40 different places and this is the first place to ever send us a handwritten post card in the mail thanking us for our visit! I wish I could give an extra star for that alone! Amazing!"
"Awesome is all I can say about this campgroundOwner took us to our site via following his golf cartActually tried to help me hook up and wanted to make sure we were comfortable Will be back when I come through this portion of the country.I can't say enough of how nice and at home he made my wife and I feel"
"Man that owns the place always digs in your trash at the dumpster. Also creeps around campers moving tenants property. Sat at my camper and watched him prowling around a family's camper while they were away.would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. If I could give less stars I would."
"Super clean bathroom with awesome showers! Missy always had fresh coffee going while we were there, hiding out in the rec room from the cold"

We loved this affordable and friendly campground! MaryAnn (camp host) was so welcoming when we arrived and went out of her way to bring firewood to us. The tent sites in lower camp were grassy, spacious, and tranquil. We floated our kayaks in the small lake beside camp, took showers in the clean bathrooms, and filled our water easily from the camp's freezeless faucet. Many sites had electric (if we had wanted that.) Only drawback we found is that a streetlight was far too bright above our tent site and seemed unnecessary. We would suggest the camp switch to a far lower wattage or just kill the light at night. However, we enjoyed this quiet and peaceful place so much that we returned a few weeks later. Thanks, 4 mile!

Such a unique place! Pilots: You don't want to miss the chance to fly in here! It's definitely an entry for the logbook. Ya land on the grass strip East of town, taxi up onto the old state road and right into town past houses and buildings - and nobody even looks up because it's such a common occurrence. If you're a history or railroad buff don't miss this stop on the highway. There's a ton of railroad history in this little burg - and it's got one of the last surviving wooden water towers from the steam engine railroad days. The tower is in gorgeous condition and surrounded by a water pump, a BNSF caboose and a reconstructed Depot and (it's a fly-in destination too, remember) a static display old Beech 18.You can stay in the hotel or there's also an RV Park right outside the hotel. Food was great and the service prompt and friendly. What more can ya ask, right?

My husband, myself, and our pup stayed at the RV park. The setting is very rural and peaceful. Very quiet at night. It was wonderful to stay on a beautiful farm and learn about it's history from our host, Dave, who grew up on the family dairy farm.

Conveniently located neat 1-35 and the railroad. Plenty of noise if ou like that. On the high end on price and I'm not sure why. I guess as they say " charge what the market will bear". So $35 a night. Nice shower and hook ups.

"Great place to stay short term or long term! The ladies at the first office are very sweet and understanding! And Amanda the cleaning lady is the absolute sweetest person and always on top of what we need! We've stayed multiple times here and have always had a wonderful experience!"
"Traveling to Texas puled in for the night. going to stay another night and play some golf. Sites are fairly level good water power good dump station on the way out the water hookup at the dump station is a little far from the road but that's ok. Good security very nice people working there."
"What a great friendly RV park! Even though we only stayed one night, we would definitely stay again! We were traveling through and we're a late call. Our host waited on us and guided us to a great spot. We even met Buster, their horse."
"Great campground. Clean and convenient. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Be careful where you park your car - gravel can be soft and make your car sink (yeah, that was fun!). We were tent camping. This is definitely a place we would camp again!"
"A great pull over for the night spot. When just traveling to get somewhere and you want a cheap convenient campground this is the place off I70 in Kansas. Wilson is a small convenient town with lots of history. Dining and center of town is only a few blocks away. Campsite is full hook-ups. You won't get any other amenities here. Friendly owner."
"This is a phenomenal campground. The prices are very reasonable, the sites are nice, and the owners are really sweet people!"
"Great place to stay for extended stays or just passing through. They have propane onsite which is great! Their WiFi signal is good as my husband is a programmer. Very clean showers and laundry. Also, very very affordable! We will definitely be back!"
"This was by far one of the nicest stays we have in our travels! Don't let the short travel along a dirt road (which turns to pavement quickly) scare you off. Robert met us as we neared the entrance and guided us to a site. There are some shaded and partially shaded sites. Wi-fi is available and full hook-ups. Perfect for self-contained rigs. (there is no on-site bath house or restrooms) We were so impressed by the level of customer service Robert provided- even down to a great dinner recommendation (Woody's on Main st.).We had planned on staying 2 days so we could golf at his adjacent 9 hole course, which is immaculately maintained and just beautiful-Lots of trees and some water features. The course was perfect for me as a beginner golfer and yet challenged even my more advanced golfer husband.Robert offered to show us around what used to be his grandfathers homestead land which his brother and sister all have RV campgrounds on in the area. All 3 campgrounds are beautifully maintained and you would not go wrong with any of them. But Robert really added a touch of hospitality. We will definitely can't wait to come back."
"It may not look like much, but the sites are all grass and amply sized and priced right at $25 for full services. It is near two amazing tourist stops, strataca and cosmodron. I'd come back."
"Had a nice stay here and the showers were great clean and safe the little dog park was great for max"
"We changed our travel plans due to inclement weather and found ourselves at Camp Mi Casa for three nights--what a gem! The sites are long and level with excellent power, water, sewer and wi-fi but the best part of our stay was our check-in with Dale, the owner. He's friendly, hospitable and very proud of what he and his wife have done to create this RV park.I'm not sure if we'll ever find ourselves in Carthage again but if we do, we'll know where to stay."
"Bad customer service, Wayne is rude to deal with. I would not recommend. Please shoose anywhere else"
"I found this place when I needed a Uhaul Truck. They have many RV supplies and some nice local products as well. I was treated very well, and the staff were helpful and went out of their way to help me find something for our RV. My only disappointment was the lack of signage from the highway!"
"Update March 2024:Belinda, the owner, and her husband have such a beautifully run RV park. The location is easy in and out with driving/towing, and it is by restaurants and stores- but a bit hidden so that you do feel like you are in your own little oasis. We utilized this park to dump our tanks after staying on the family farm for the week. The fee was 20.00- extremely fair considering where we live in CO to dump is 40.00. Everything in this RV park is brightly and cheerfully labeled with cute signs so you know where everything is, how to enter and exit, site numbers, and the office is just super cute! We will definitely revisit this RV park again when in the area! Thank you, Belinda!"
"This very small and pretty RV park has tree shaded level sites with plenty of space. Water and electricity are available. Owners live on site, are friendly and helpful.A Church and fire department are next door. The neighborhood is small town and quiet. Check in and out are easy. We'd go back for sure. We spent one night there in a pull through site with a 28 ft bumper trailer. The fee was 35$"
"It was tight getting in and difficult getting down the incline for a large class a towing a car. They appear to be trying to make it nicer with lights and a patio set, but the propane fire pit did not have propane. They are expecting a net for their pickleball court, which is nice. The dog park was small with many deposits that remained after other dogs left. There are many older small trailers in this small park which seem to be inhabited by permanent residents doing what they can to live year round in a chilly place. The staff were friendly and they have a nice little store. We will make another choice that better accommodates our needs."
"Nice quiet park. has washer and dryer for guests. Friendly neighbors and pets accepted. Bar b que pit and picnic table available. Very nice"
"Being from Salina originally, I was excited to see that there was an Rv Park at Webster, until we arrived. Only to find that in actuality it's a parking lot with hookups. No trees, showers, bathrooms etc. We also had to go purchase a y connecter, because we were told that another rv coming in later that evening and us would need to share the water. Since we were told another rv was coming in the first night, we didn't put out our awning. Good thing because I could have walked out my front door and shook hands with someone leaning out the window of the rv next to us."
"Great place and awesome owner! Been here for a little over a year and have had no issues at all. Scott is always around if you need anything or have any issues"
"We stayed here from 10/5/12 - 10/6/12 with our 2 dogs in our 32 ft 5th wheel RV. This RV park is in the middle of no where, but is very nice - well maintained, big spaces, level spaces with full hook up. It is a little different from the other RV parks that we stayed at in that we were not assigned a spot, which was nice considering it was not busy, & that they only accept cash or check payment. There is plenty of grassy areas & trees. While there are no dog walking trails, this was by far my 2 active dogs favorite place that we have stayed - the park is a big circle & the grassy areas surround the park & are large enough for them to run & play. The only 2 requests we would have to improve the park would be (1) signage not to turn right after passing the office, go straight ; & (2) have some mechanism for providing those checking in after hours with the free wifi code. Highly recommend for those passing through & need a place to stay - super quiet & right off of 135."
"What a hidden gem! We stayed here on our way to KC and loved this little hotel. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We booked the suite with a jetted bathtub and loved our room. Spacious and quiet and charming. Tasty complimentary breakfast. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
"Sand Burr RV Park is a nice secluded RV park almost on the water of Kaw Lake in North Central Oklahoma. They offer full hook up sites, all of them being "back in" sites. The sites are well maintained and reasonably priced. The grounds are well kept, The park owners are very friendly. The park does have some long term folks and all are friendly and helpful to novice campers. Boat Launching at Kaw Lake is only a few minutes away at COE facilities. The Park has clean restrooms and showers, a community freezer and ice is available on site. A Central Gathering picnic shelter is available for all the Campers and various goings on during the active months are held here."
"If you're traveling to or through the Kansas City Missouri area, then Peculiar RV Park is an excellent choice. It is a beautiful clean RV campground with easy access just right off of Interstate 49, that has large sites with level gravel pads. We left our place in a hurry to get ahead of a snow storm and didn't have reservations for that night. I called the Peculiar RV park while on the road to see if they had a spot for our 5th Wheel. I spoke with a very pleasant & informative man named Don. He told me they had room for us and to get there before dark so he could guide us to the campsite. I gave him our location on the road to make double sure we would get there before dark and he confirmed the time & distance. That was very helpful to us because we didn't know the area. He also told me they only accept cash or check which was no problem. When we arrived at the RV park we saw festive Christmas decorations, loved it! I went into the office/store and was greeted by the most friendly & informative couple (Don & Frosty) who run the RV park. They got us all checked in, gave me a park map and then Don escorted us to the full hook up site and he made sure we got all hooked up and situated. Great customer service! And Site #57 is perfect for people like us who are just passing through. Be aware that there is no Shower/Bathroom facility here at this park, we like to shower in our 5th Wheel so it's not a problem for us. This RV park does have a Laundry facility. Peculiar RV Park is a great destination for either the short term or a full season too. The atmosphere around the campground as I walked our pups around the RV Park the next morning is a relaxed one. I think in the spring & summer with all the trees & flowers in full bloom it would be a tranquil experience here. We will definitely stay here whenever we're in this area of the country."
