Hubby got two meat dinner with fries and Mac and cheese.Prices scared me but after we ate, it was worth it. For a two meat dinner $20, the fish tacos $14, two extra sides $3 each, and a kids meal $7, it was $55.13 after tax, before tip. (We always get waters.)I'd come here again! Quiet enough to talk but bar-ish feel and music playing. Pirate ship was cool! Kids had fun!THANK YOU!"

"This place is seriously *such* a dream come true for me as a lover of indie movies. I only regret that I waited a couple of months to come and check it out! Affordably priced tickets and a very charming & clean theater await you here. I used to come to this space when it was a secondhand shop and I was very impressed with the transformation as it rivals indie theaters in much larger cities. They are currently open Wednesday through Sunday. There is a single viewing room and it seats about 50 moviegoers from my rudimentary count as the lights went down.On my first visit, I saw the 2018 documentary "Three Identical Strangers" with several friends and we all enjoyed it immensely and found the two previewed films intriguing as well.Full disclosure, hearing about all of the (delicious sounding) food they offer was the main reason I didn't come in sooner...I expected something more like Alamo Drafthouse as far as servers in and out of the theater mid-movie and feeling obligated to order a full meal and beverages to consume while watching the film. That's just not my preference. At Bookhouse Cinema, it's not like that at all. The restaurant & concessions are completely separate and while you're welcome to bring food & drink into the theater, there is no atmosphere of back and forth traffic during the film. Perfect! I met up with friends after their meal here in the adjacent dining area and they said it was excellent, so I'll definitely try the food sometime in the future (with or without a movie).I deeply hope Bookhouse Cinema will thrive in Joplin's East Town area for many years to come. It's one of the best things I've "discovered" this year!"

"The only bar within a reasonable distance of our hotel. I love dive bars, and Finn's was fine for some drinks. As the night heated up, people were coming in droves to play darts, pool and really bad music on the jukebox. Overall, fine place to have drinks. I wish the music had been a bit more consistent and louder, because some of those jukebox selections were crazy. We tried the Bloody Mary, since the website specifically mentions it. To be a tomato juice based Bloody (without a mix behind it), I really appreciated the flavors. Really yum pickle! If you're in this area, I recommend stopping in for a Bloody."

"Righteous Dining Finding a hidden away gem is always a great thing and Fuglys takes it a step further. Righteous? Well since it is housed in an old church (complete with its original steeple) it is hard to miss. Employees even tell stories about customers saying things like, "I was baptized right over there by the bar!" Charm - you bet. Parking should never be an issue (did you ever see a small town church that did not have a big parking lot?). Inside it still has the warm feeling of old wood and relaxing atmosphere. The focal point is the curved bar and surrounding tables. The menu is standard comfort food and reasonable prices. Burgers, steaks are good starting points, complementing the full service bar Service is friendly efficient. For lunch I highly recommend the steak sandwich while friends rave about their steaks! So if you ever find yourself on Highway K you owe it to yourself to pull off into East Lynne and look for the steeple. It's always a great time for a beer or cocktail, followed by a relaxing meal served with a smile by a friendly staff!"

Not not were we told they would accommodate a party of 9 (after a much less busy Prime on the 9 turned us away) they greeted everyone with enthusiasm, and to say they were busy was an understatement!! We put in our orders & the food matched the quality of service. We ordered the pickle pizza, pizza with no name, nachos, Hawaiian pizza, and one other and every one of the was amazing! The cherry on top of this experience was the atmosphere. Cool downtown vibe, rollup doors inside and outside seating everything you want and more."

"We stopped into Bricks and Brews while on our Route 66 trip, to grab some lunch. They have beers on tap, a bunch of TVs if you're interested in catching a sporting event, and a pretty decent pizza menu. We were the only people in there in mid afternoon. We ordered a large cheese pizza to share and a beer, each. The pizza came out surprisingly quickly and was not burnt at all contrary to some other reviews on here. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but it was tasty and crisp and better than I would expect for Kansas. The bathrooms also have really interesting decor. I'm glad we stopped in."

"We enjoyed our meal here. Sort of loud but that's normal for a pub. Our part had fish tacos, wings and a spinach artichoke quesadilla. My mom wanted the funnel cake fries.The meals were good. I asked for no jalapeños on my quesadilla which they accommodated but it still had a kick to it, which I wasn't a fan of. The funnel cake fries were pretty amazing. Unique item and my 80 year old mom was thrilled Other dishes were good. Not the best ever but pretty tasty still. Service was good and our server was very friendly. Overall I would go back and probably get something else since I can't do spice. There were a few vegetarian options which was nice to see."

Wish I had gotten a growler but I was flying home in a few days so it wasn't plausible. The food was great. I had the steakhouse burger which is a mix of the trimmings on their steaks. Im not a burger guy. But I read the description and had to try it. It was really awesome. Grilled sour dough bread. The pickle with it was great. So great. Wish I had one right now. Definitely give it a try if just visiting."

Their staff are all cicerone trained and are able to discuss beer in a meaningful way, which is great when you have questions or want recommendations!The banana beer is AMAZING! "My husband said Friday was 1/2-priced pizza, so I met him here for dinner. He ordered a Supreme. The pizza has a special name, but I forgot what it was. It arrived on thin crust. Hot, tasty, a delicious blend of ingredients and plentiful to boot!Hubby ordered a beer, but I stuck to water. We took some home for breakfast. When I arrived, hubby was seated at the top of tge ramp. The upper level has seating to eat. When you go down a couple of steps, tge var us right there. Pool table over in a sort of secluded corner. There are mire rabies to sit and eat,cdrink and watch one of several TV screens on the wall. The bathrooms are down a long hallway, in case you need to go. The women's was clean, smelled ok and had several pictures of Damon's men on the walls. I can't tell you about the men's except that it is on the left before you get to the women's on the right. Then, an exit. It's important to know in case you drink a lot!"

"In a small town like Nevada you don't have too many options, but this one is probably the best. The staff was personable and helped to guide you through the menu. Typical bar style Americana food options with the addition of a few pastas. We sat at the bar and got great service, with the small town pub type experience. Country music played for music and the beer was cold. What else could you really need! Their seasoned Susie q's were awesome and the rest of the food was pretty good too. I didn't even manage to get any pictures because I was so caught up in the moment."

I can see we will be back on other nights, as I want to try out the Irish food!The steaks came. We enjoyed them! The salad was tasty, fresh and plentiful. Hubby had a beer. I did not drink tonight. I had water. It was cold and tasty. Too many places in Wichita have gross water. That can make or break my experience. Looking forward to returning soon!"

"This was the place we went to a cpl days after moving to Pittsburg. Im so glad we found it! The service was good and everyone was super friendly and helpful. We were there kinda early and the progressive democrats were meeting in the next room. I realy enjoyed talking to these folks as they came out of there meeting and socialized for a bit. The bar tender let us order food from the mexican place down the street so we had food and drinks and great company. This is my kind of bar! And the old fashioned was perfect.
