"I'd like to give the cafe at Ward's Garden Center 5 stars because I had a fantastic lunch with unbeatable service. Really, the fajita wrap and cup of potato soup was delicious, and our server was really attentive even though it was lunch hour and pretty busy. To be fair, however, I must rate on the quality of my whole experience at Wards. I'm not sure where they get their puppies to adopt (or sell), but the puppy/kitten room was pitiful! There were only two puppies in the entire room, but instead of giving them their own space, both had to share a tiny cage. Granted they were both tiny puppies and the room looked pretty clean, but I believe there were better options for puppy housing.I intended to give this review 5 stars because the food was great and the service outstanding, but then I remembered the whole puppy thing and had to change my mind."

She told me Eric would take care of me. Got my dog and was greeted at the store by Eric. He showed me how to use the wash. Great wash. Self serve. Lifted tub for almost a 360 wash. Different shampoo options. Had drying options. Got my dog washed up, and dried. Bought a harness and a leash. Very reasonably priced and a true gem in Valley Center. "I was so excited that they sell live feeder rats and mice. But when I asked for a rat pup they brought me a pinky. I wasn't going to say anything about it until they tried to charge me twice what I was told. When I asked about it I was told it came from a rat so it was a pup. I could get a full grown mouse for less than they wanted to charge for a pinky rat. I asked her to get me mouse instead. See rat sizing chart..."

UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW. I went there a year and half ago and was told to try fish oil for my dog's itching and guess what? It worked great, still have her on it to this day and she is doing fantastic. Kelly really knows her stuff.

Clean tanks and store. They maintain a healthy setup. The selection is consistently the same though. Not a bad thing but you know more or less what to expect if you frequent here. They really don't support the local hobby reef keeper if you start to talk them.

I had never been here before, but the previous owner of my new-to-me (kind of foster care dog to start but she's with us for good, now) dog had recommended this shop, though she couldn't remember the name or exact location. Yelp had outdated info for the address, so we have that fixed now. So today, I brought our big girl in for a nail clip, and Apryle (unique spelling for "April", but that's what the sign said!) just plopped right down and lovingly picked up each paw and got the nails clipped with no barking or yipping or discomfort (our dog is getting up there in years and has hip issues.). So I hope to check in more frequently and upgrade the review as I try other services.

I have shopped here before and always had great service, but yesterday the guy that helped me went above and beyond. I went in with a fish tank light that wasn't working properly. I expected him to tell me the whole thing had gone bad, thankfully he thought it was just the light bulbs. He recommended new bulbs for what I needed and offered to install them to be sure that the bulbs were the problem. He even cleaned the light bar and put it back together for me. Super helpful and very nice, even though the store was busy. This shop is a bit out of my way but I will always go there because of the customer service. Thank you!

Great service and friendly! The washing station is the best that I've seen...and I've been to plenty of them. They offer so much considering the low cost of using the wash station and its kept so clean. I would definitely return...its worth the trip.

"I have four dogs so go through a ridiculous amount of dog food! All Paws not only carries my preferred brand NutriSource, but gives customers a free bag of dry food for every 12 purchased, can't beat that! The store is always clean and orderly and has plenty of easily accessed parking. In addition to foods and pet products they also have private dog wash rooms with all the amenities! All the employees I've encountered over the years have been very helpful and friendly. Thank you Derby All Paws!"
"My first and likely last visit to this store. I needed help. I could not find any available staff to assist me. Employees whom I did see were all busy and looked to be high school age.After finding what I hoped was the correct aquarium tank, heat lamp, and bulb I went to check out. The clerk helpfully pointed out that there was a crack in my aquarium glass. The problem was out of the five small aquariums in stock, four were cracked. The clerk asked me where the aquariums were in the store.One area in the store was very messy. I was confused if that was an area for retail or for inventory storing. It was extremely confusing. It seemed to be an area for retail, but it was quite disorganized.My impression from my visit to this Petland store was that it is understaffed, poorly organized, and no one is paying attention to see if the items being stocked on the shelf are a good quality or damaged. In comparison to other pet stores in Wichita, this was quite inferior."

"I've been taking my pets to Goddard Vet for several years. I had hoped prices would be cheaper since building is nothing fancy, but prices are comparable to most vets. I have always been treated friendly and they accommodate me when my life gets crazy. My dog is now a DNR , so they don't try to go overboard. We still keep him comfortable and happy. I wish they would draw blood and stuff in the exam room I'm in, but they go to the back "where the equipment is." Dr Alberg always spends time and is very sweet and agreeable. I have no complaints."
