"Food: 3/5 Just not polished enough for the price. The risotto was undercooked. They have some burger was good but overcooked and nothing special. They have meat and cheese platter was good but overpriced. The salad was del ious but difficult to eat. The lettuce and green beans made each bite a trial by spillage. Service: 4/5 Good, no issues but didn't wow me. Our server was engaging but you shouldn't need to ask us if we want a refill of soda, you should just bring one, especially since we said we would want all the refills the first time. Ambiance: 3/5 Shabby which was intentional and a bit dusty, messy, and overly eclectic in a "not good" way. Trying for something and missing it by a small margin. Again, lacking a certain polish."
"We decided to try this restaurant before we left Wichita. It is situated in a great location by the park and shopping area. Most guests get to view the park and the band outside while dining. The band played some nice slow music, nothing loud. This is a beautiful and well-maintained restaurant. The staffers seemed energetic and well-trained. We had a girl named Alexis as our waitress, and she was quick, professional, and friendly.Hubby ordered Wedge Salad, and I had Arugula Salad to start. We liked the arugula salad better than the wedge salad. My Arugula Salad is served with goat cheese and Apple slices. Then Hubby got Creekstone RibEye, and I had Trout Amandine. My Trout was exceptional! I loved it! Even Hubby enjoyed it too, although he's not a fish eater. The double vegetable served with my fish was awesome because broccolini is my favorite vege and Hubby's dinner came with it too.Last but not least, we ended the chapter with banana bread pudding! It was amazing! Anything that makes me plum is amazing! I can't believe they allowed me to order this unbelievably enticing dessert. Who's in charge? Anyway, we had a great time dining in Wichita! Thank you for the great food, service, and hospitality!"

"Restaurant/pub located in downtown Wichita.A few locals recommended this spot so we checked it out for Sunday brunch. Bottomless mimosas are apparently against the law in Wichita but they do offer $5 mimosas. There is also a great selection of bourbons and beers. We started with the goat cheese peppers which were amazing. They guys had the wings which they said were excellent with some spice. For my meal I had the pork Mac and cheese. Two people could definitely split this. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly."
"This place came as a recommendation on a trip to Manhattan, and it met expectations. The place is very modern with three levels and a patio seating area, and the ambiance was a fun vibe walking through. Sat on the rooftop and enjoyed the summer evening. My only suggestion there is to work on the tables which are very uneven and wobble badly.Caleb arrived at the table and provided some helpful suggestions for the meal. He did a great job taking care of the table during the evening as well as managing the many other tables on the roof. He recommend the Korean BBQ Wings as a starter, and while that would not have been my first choice, they were good and had a lot of flavor. I ordered the Tap Mac with the Pork Belly, and it was really good. Could have used just a little more cheese, but it also had a lot of flavor. My friend ordered the Salmon Burger and fries. The star of that dish was the Smoked Tomato Aioli which is ordered as the side sauce that comes with the sandwich. It was good on the fries and it was good on the sandwich. The hard cider we ordered was a great complement to the meal. Overall, this was a nice experience and a good meal while in Manhattan."
"This was a wonderful surprise on our way through KS! The place is small, but it is very nicely decorated and the staff is very welcoming. My husband and I got the burgers, beer cheese app, and the banana foster cheesecake and everything was amazing! The burger was one of the best I've had in a very long time. I wish this was closer to home!"
"Stopped in because we had a gift card from my wife's workplace. Saying I was surprised is an understatement. The staff - very friendly and accommodating. Each person we spoke with was helpful without being over the top. Appetizers - best calamari I've ever had. Mushroom were a delicious surprise. Worked great with my steak. The bread is so light and delicious by itself self. Main Course - my wife's fish (can't remember which one it was. Red snapper I think). Much more than expected but flavorful and light. The entire plate was balanced and she loved the green mint sauce too. Ribeye was larger than expected also. Perfect cook. Fat to meat ratio is on point. Side were very good. Star is the steak. My son's lasagna here was much more than expected. Flavor in the marinara is deep. So much happening and it all works. Even a slight heat on the back side. I didn't try any more than that but he loved it. Pricing - yep it's more than some places. What you get for the increased is a better meal, great staff who seem to care, and plenty of food for the price. We will return here and try more off the menu. It's a nice environment with a comfy feel. We went early but when we left it was filling up. They say it's all fresh prepped and it shows."
"First time at the new location on north Oliver. Started with Caprese Garlic Bread which was delicious. I ordered a Thai Bowl with avocado since I refuse to eat "corporate farmed" chicken. It was actually bland which was disappointing. My friend ordered the creamy spinach pasta with mushrooms and carmelized mushrooms. It was more interesting and had more flavor. Isn't Thai food supposed to have some zing to it?"
"A nice overall coffeeshop that's basically on K-State's campus. It's got outdoor seating, and a sleek, modern feel inside. I worked from here for a while and one thing that keeps this from being five stars is the spotty, inconsistent WiFi. It was cutting out a lot inside, and barely worked at all out on the patio. The coffee was really tasty; opted for my usual, a standard black cup of coffee. Some call it boring, I call it life-giving! It was around $4 for a large, and it packs a nice, caffeinated punch. I also got a slightly overpriced yogurt parfait that was fine, if not unremarkable. They keep this place clean, and it has lots of natural light pouring in which adds to the nice atmosphere. Good spot and one I'd recommend checking out; you know college towns will have good coffee shops, and between this and Brothers, I was happy with my discoveries on a two day trip into Manhattan."
"Food was absolutely delicious, I had the lemon chicken piccata and it was one of the best I've had. Salad was a tad overdressed but was quite tasty and tiramisu was quite good. Servers was very attentive and friendly - so thumbs up on service Restaurant is small but very airy, a definite winner"
"My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch on a weekday, and everything was very good!!!!! I really enjoyed my sandwich. The ingredients tasted very fresh, especially the bread. Will definitely be coming back."
"I love Sundays! If I'm not with my grand babies then I'm catching up with friends. The group suggested we eat at The Fusion Restaurant and try their breakfast Buffet. I've never heard of this place and I always love supporting local It's a local family-friendly restaurant with american comfort foods and reasonable prices. My favorites? The crispy bacon and the amazing potato salad. It was the best potato salad I've EVER tasted! It gave me goosebumps. (Just ask Sarah )Our fabulous waitress Peggy was so friendly and always checking on us to see if we needed anything. I did meet the owner, Shannon and she also was super friendly and so genuine. Going to every table and thanking them for coming in. I'm really looking forward to our next trip Thank you friends for a much needed brunch! #eatlocal #supportlocal #friendsmakelifebetter"
"Good fresh Kansas breackfast. #2 eggs, meat, hash browns and bread $10! The locals spot. Good parking clean restrooms."

Enjoyed a late night dinner here while in town and the reviews were on point. The spicy fried chicken (which was gluten free) was excellent. Great flavor and texture. My wife had the brisket tacos which were quite good as well. Only bummer was they were unable to make the curds, which I was looking forward to but that's the way it goes sometimes.

We absolutely loved this place! We came here on a Monday afternoon for a late lunch before we had to go to the airport. We would have loved to get some bourbon but thought that might not be wise before our flight. So we got a beer...my husband got an IPA and I got a stout called Buffalo Sweat (that made me literally LOL).Our waitress was Julia and she was just lovely! She recommended the green beans and the Wilbur. We got both, along with the loaded sweet potato tots. The Wilbur was ok, the tots were great, but the green beans were the best thing we had on our week long vacation! My local bar at home has them and I used to love them but now I don't know if I can ever eat them again because I'll be comparing them to the Monarch! And Julia also made us a list of her favorite shops and other places to go for us to visit on next trip! Top notch! We were very happy with the ambiance, the service, and the food. The value was excellent. We look forward to returning to this establishment when we come back to Wichita.

They are understaffed, so things moved a little slow. But considering they had one bartender, 1 server, and 1 host running a full restaurant, I was impressed. The food was amazing and totally worth the wait. Our server suggested the Mac and cheese, and it was tasty, but not something I'd come back for. The brisket sandwich was really tender and had great flavor- loved the bbq sauce and the honey mustard. The sweet potato fries were up there with the best I'd ever had- perfectly crispy and tender with just a little salt. The banana fosters cheesecake was downright sinful- candied nuts with caramel and banana slices on top of a thickly cut slice of cheesecake. I may have tried to stab my husband with a spoon to get an extra bite. Lots of beer choices, although I was hoping for some options from the local shops in Hays. We had the peach wheat from Breckinridge brewery in co and a Hefeweizen from the oldest brewery in Bavaria. Both were excellent- the hefweizen was the perfect pair with the cheesecake. Absolutely would come back to try more from their bar as well as their other food and the turtle cheesecake.

Atmosphere cheery and friendly. Menu nicely varied, with abundant GF options for my daughter whose nickname is YaYa! Biggest hit was the cauli pita our waiter proffered with the baba ganouche amuse bouche. Chance our server was most personable.

Wow!! This place is so airy, industrial, + modern all in one. The plants, the wood paneling, + all the natural light really brings this place alive!! I ordered a vanilla oat milk latte and it was absolutely scrumptious. Becca was the sweetest and helped me pick out a coffee as this was my first time here! I will hopefully come back when visiting town again! (:

"Wanted to try this place for so long, finally got here. Worth the wait. Staff is great. We had read the menu on here (yelp) before going in so we already knew what we were going to have. The burger was really good, it was my husband's but I tried it. I told him that it was probably the best I've had in Joplin. If I could change anything it would probably be to go with a thicker burger instead of 2 thin ones but that just a personal preference. I had the chicken tenders and they were great. Cooked perfectly. Not everybody can do it but this place nails it. I loved the spicy ranch dip also very much enjoyed the garlic parmesan. The frys rock but I was so full I didn't get to eat many and I can not wait to go back and try the onion strings. I recommend this place, go by if get a chance. They are worth a stop"
"This is the kind of burger I search for. Seared well with outstanding cheese on a great bun-perfect. Side of tater tots and onion rings were also very good. Place takes you back in time and everyone inside very friendly. We got there 15 minutes before lunch started and they took our order early and our food was served literally like 11:05. Great service and friendly waitress."
"I'm going five stars here, because what Jay's does well is exactly what you would expect from both the size of the establishment and from the pictures on the front of the place. They do BURGERS, and no, not fancified 'gourmet' burgers adorned with too many derivatives of greens or cheeses, just a big, juicy burger with the standard accompaniments. A burger with applewood smoked bacon and garlic aioli on ciabatta is just fine, but seriously, why try so hard?Jay's is about as big as your standard kitchen, with outdoor seating as well. It's known as a carry-out place, so capacity isn't the chief concern. The focus of Jay's is their burgers, and they do them up very well! This visit had us gobbling down double cheeseburgers with the works and heaping sides of fries. The burgers are done on a griddle, not flame-broiled, and the meat mixture and cooking technique retains all the flavors and moisture. In the restaurant business they call that 'execution', and Jay's does it just right. In these uncertain times, small businesses mean more than ever and we mean more than ever to small businesses. As we were traveling south on the interstate, we made a phone call, we took an exit, and we picked up our food and ate on the patio. COVID has changed the game for so many places, but Jay's looks to be surviving well. Three burgers plus a couple of fries set us back about $30, and with the timeliness and taste, it was an excellent value. They even give you free ice cream (which we declined - burp!) and have a super-friendly staff."
"I've never been to the outdoor patio or tried the food. Their draft selection is ok, definitely nothing special and it's definitely not a fancy mixology spot. So, why the high praise? I had the best time here. On a random Thursday night. In Wichita. Thursday night is Karaoke night and while I've been to plenty bars' Karaoke night but Rain's was super fun, a surprisingly good depth chart of songs and singers and even the host got in on it. I have a whole new appreciation for 'Me and Mrs. Jones' after having watched it performed, not just sung, PERFORMED. Come in later in the week, grab a draft Truly, (don't judge) and enjoy the show."
"Food: it was a little salty than expected but overall we had an excellent time.Service was attentive and a bit standoffish.Ambiance: there was not many people here so we actually enjoyed our meal."
"We read the history of this place on Yelp & had to stop. Located 2 miles off I-35 in Perry Oklahoma it is a worthwhile detour. Filled with locals on a Saturday during lunch it was a virtual treasure trove of historic memorabilia dating back to the 20's. The service friendly & food outstanding. The hot beef with brown gravy melted in my mouth and the chicken fried steak was as good as you would expect in an old school Oklahoma diner. I saw a huge plate of chili cheese fries go by that I may have to try on my next trip. Topped our meal off with homemade lemon meringue pie & good strong coffee."
"In-laws and I stopped here for lunch while on our way back to Oklahoma. I just love old buildings with exposed brick, visible air ducts, and original wood floors. There's just almost nothing better than that to me for a restaurant. All that being said, this place had all of the above along with old signs, old doors, mannikin arms here and there to name a few. The food was very good and very much homemade. You could taste it in every bite. The staff were friendly and just had a nice family vibe going."
"Best food in Enid!!! Hands down! I've eaten at many mom and pop places and this place takes the cake!! Must try!"
"Breakfast stop gteat menu many options for a great breakfast would recommend this restaurant toAnyone food Great service good Have a great hunch or dinner also and pies very good"
"Made a quick stop in for some dessert after lunch, I've been here before but we had a few first timers. It's always a tough choice on which cookie bake To get, I think the chocolate chip is the best but sometimes you're just in the mood for hot Apple pie à la mode, and the oatmeal cinnamon apple is the closest thing. It did not disappoint. Hot and melted and sugary delicious. Definitely a stop for someone with a sweet tooth. Will definitely be"
"Of course the customer service is wonderful in the city of Wichita. I really enjoyed our waitress and she made sure to bring us extra condiments and napkins. Straws too. It wasn't busy for a Sunday morning; maybe because it was pretty cold outside and it was crazy early morning. I really enjoyed a vegetarian breakfast and enjoyed a slice of pie. The bakers who brought up the pies were very cheerful and I loved their attitude. Would definitely come back."
"This is a bar, but steak night in Thursday is awesome! C9oked to perfection, just as good as any steakhouse. Mine came with asparagus and baked potato. Hubby had an Octoberfest craft beer. Our plates were the same. No wonder he comes in every Thursday. A good price for the plate!"
"We usually really enjoy whatever we eat at Annie's Place. Sometimes when I deviate from my "usual" I regret it because my usual is SO good and whatever I got on special didn't live up to it. My usual is the teriyaki burger with mushrooms. It is definitely among the best burgers you will find in Topeka. I love the atmosphere at Annie's and there are members I'd the wait staff who have been there for years and know their regulars really well."
"This place is incredible. We had two parties last Christmas and they catered both. The food was excellent. Blake was incredibly professional. He offered different food options for each party. Food was delicious. Blake and his team set and and tore down. I was so impressed I went to his home site and ordered a turkey panini and it was hands down incredible. I love the fact that Robby's Cheesecake is in same location and they are a 5 Star desserts!"
"Oh my goodness, this is such a small town eatery. Tons of junk and comfort food to fill your belly big with delicious fixings. The food comes out relatively fast and piping hot. Definitely great for fun snack time with friends or to be fat solo."
"Priced right for the chicken sandwiches. Iced tea was on point - very strong! Fries tasted like they are fried in the same oil as the chicken and were just OK. Family style atmosphere and popular with the locals.Enjoy!"
"Outstanding, very flavorful food. They have a great selection of items, and different specials (depending on the day)."
"Fun Elvis/Marylin Monroe inspired modern diner.long descriptive first sentence but true haha. My husband grew up going here so it was very nastalgic for him to be back. It kind of reminded me of a steak n shake but fancier and more Elvis. On this visit our focus, although 37 degrees outside, was drinkable sweet treats. Craving met ! I kept it simple with a strawberry smoothie which I enjoyed. It was a little sweet but I realized they used real strawberries (prob with some syrup) but the real strawberry taste was delightful so no complaints. My husband got a cherry mudslide which he loved. The mudslides comes in many flavors but the key overlapping ingredient is hardened fudge throughout the shake. We also got a strawberry Sunday which was very pretty. All in all a good spot for drinks. Next time I'll try the food !"
"The Loft 150 is a cool hangout spot for friends or your significant other. The Loft 150 has all the beers from the downstair River City Brewing's crafts. In addition, there is 2 basketball coin machines, a stage, balcony outdoor seating, bar with additional beers, all of the spirits, and great drink specials.Wednesday's are the best night to get a weekday $3.50 big beer flagship brew and an $8 delicious thin crust pizza of your choice. Friday's and Saturday's sometimes has live music or a DJ. Admission can run up to $10. If you're already there early for dinner you don't have to pay the cover."
"Great little restaurant. We came for breakfast it was good, and the prices were the best I've ever seen from a decent cafe. Waiter was friendly, we will definitely be coming back and telling our friends."
"Absolutely delicious food oh, great amount for the price. Server was courteous knowledge and always had a smile when coming and checking on the table. Was there on December 5th about 5:30 p.m. was crowded but very nice atmosphere, would highly recommended we drove 30 miles for it each way and was well worth our trip will be back again"
"Nick and Co. have been flying under the radar for the last couple years and it's about time they get the recognition they deserve. After buying the infamous Trapper's several years ago, they've been trying to make a new name for themselves. Although they're now named Trapper Joe's, they do share some of the same similarities. Still great chicken fries as well as some new favorites. Sriracha burger is a personal favorite of mine as I am a huge fan of hot foods. Also their desserts are a nice compliment to the evening's meal, especially the brownie w/ ice-cream! Hats off to the Jensen family for moving to a small town and rolling the dice on the restaurant game"
