"We hired TenderCare for our pool service because the people who owned the house before us used them. We were ignorant of the fact that TenderCare subcontracted to a man named Shawn Estell. When we needed work done above basic maintenance (per Shawn), Shawn gave us a quote and asked us to pay him directly. We didn't think anything about this until we discovered he had given us bad information in advising a pool liner be replaced when it could have been repaired. We also found him saying we needed repairs done that he had also done the previous year AND repairs that I knew the home owners before us had accomplished. The ropes for the pool cover were replaced three times in three years. The motor was repaired twice in three years, the cover replaced once and repaired once in two years, and the pool liner was replaced twice in five years. The work he did do was not done correctly and ultimately we hired another pool company to fix it. Shawn charged us $500 for pool chemicals to maintain the pool all summer and didn't even put in chemicals to start up the pool when the liner was replaced. When I contacted TenderCare, they did not stand behind Shawn's work at all but claimed he was a very good pool guy but that was between us and him. To me they are just a culpable for his shoddy work."

Numerous repairs failed and they would not warranty any of their work after just 30 days. Don't hire these people, work sitting incomplete now for weeks with no action. Their account manager will not reply to any request to complete it."

"If this is the same place that moved to harker heights near the high school then I can not recommend it enough!! I don't know much about gardening and had plenty of questions. One of the guys (I wish I would have asked his name) actually walked around with me, giving me ideas and suggestions on whatever I showed interest in. I explained about the difficulty I had last year with my mint plants and he gave me step by step instructions on how to get my plants growing. He even carried my heavier items out to my truck for me. All of their plants look healthy and beautiful, and the prices are amazing. I'll never go to the larger places again. It was nice to not have to search for help and nice to know the person I spoke to knew what they were talking about. I can't say enough great things about this place!!!"

But I think if I could give a zero star to Two Lawn Rangers, I would. From San Francisco, spending an enormous amount of time in Wichita for my work, we went ahead and bought a house in the tony neighborhood of Eastborough last October. With a half acre lot, and lots of trees, we had some fall cleaning to do to get rid of the fallen leaves, so we called Two Lawn Rangers this past January to do the job.They gave us a quote of $30/hour, but you would think that with all the experience they have they would eyball the job and say: "Hey this is a big job! It'll cost you more than a grand!" That disclosure would have made us rethink the provider. With neighbors telling us it should cost between $200 and $400 in TOTAL, the wife went ahead and gave the go ahead. We were thinking, "Jee, 10 hours plus materials should be enough right?"We got a bill for $1,200. Are you kidding me? Who does this without giving an estimate of total cost? Totally unprofessional. I paid $600 and told them to stuff it, and they threatened legal action. Nice. So I paid the balance. No sense sweating the small stuff.Fast forward to today, and we just got quoted $350 from a local provider to do the same job. Confirmation we got totally swindled by Two Lawn Rangers.Two Lawn Rangers charged us by zip code, stay the heck away from them. I suggest they change their name to Thugs Lawless Raiders."

(We didn't expect a full return but an offer of something would have been nice.) So sad to see that they don't stand behind their product. I got better service from Lowes and Home Depot regarding their products. Friendly helpful people, but unfortunately that seemed to have stopped with the sale."

Someone recommended Scenic Landscapes, so we decided to take a look. What a hidden little gem the city has! Customer Service was top notch (Stacey was fantastic), and we found exactly what we were looking for and then some. The prices were reasonable, and we got more for our buck here than with other locales elsewhere. Take your kids or grandkids and go look for a plant at this location. They have miscellaneous wildlife that the kids would enjoy. A+!"

"We had ICT Tree & Landscaping come out and remove a HUGE bald cypress tree. It hung halfway over a pond, so the execution was a little tricky. Three wonderful guys came out (it was even a cold and wet day). They made fast work of removing all of the branches and a good part of the top of the trunk. They came back the next day and finished it off. All parts were hauled away and they even cleaned up the sawdust. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anybody who will listen to me. "I called this company out to bid me on doing Landscape Maintenance. A nice guy came out and bid me a good price so I decided to go with this company. They said due to rain it would be one to two weeks before they could come out and do the work. Two weeks later I called them to see when they were coming because my new growth was starting to come up and it was starting to become pointless for them to come out. The lady told me they got a little backed up but they should definitely be there this week or the next week which would now make it 4 weeks. They never showed up so I called again and left a message saying I would like to know when they were coming out because it has now been 4.5 weeks and I would have went with another company if I knew they were going to be this backed up. The lady called me back and left a message saying they were coming out this week, well that was last week and they still have never shown up. I feel that because my job wasn't a large job and they weren't going to make a bunch of money on it that they didn't care to make me a priority. This is not how businesses should do whether it's a large job or small job they should treat all customers equal and show up and do the work when they say they're going to do it. I would not recommend this company."
