"Please do not be fool by the good pictures. I was disappointed and not impressed by the rolls. The sashimi plate were not as fresh except for the salmon. The sashimi fish were put on top of little tree branches which were not clean. The rolls were filled with too much rice and cucumbers. It barely had any avocado/fish/crab. The rolls were not put together properly. I watched the lady rolled the sushi and she did a sloppy job. The shrimp tempura was stale and had the freezer aftertaste. I will not come back here again. I realized a lot of people had good reviews but they are most likely came in to eat for fried rice, bento and hibachi food, not for their sushi. They said up to 50% of sushi but really it is not any cheaper than other sushi place. If you want good sushi, do not come here."
"I'm impressed. Actually, I'm blown away! My mom and I were in Stillwater for a baseball game and we were craving anything besides burgers and bbq (no-offense)... we were surprised to find this new concept/fast casual poke restaurant. I was amazed by the quality! I've had poke in Hawaii so my standards have been set pretty high.... this place is probably the best I've had in Oklahoma! Hands down. The ambience was welcoming and modern. And the customer service was outstanding! Their menu is simple but at the same time, the options vary so your taste buds can go on a sushi/poke adventure! I had the sushi burrito (I've only had these out-of-state so I was excited to see one on the menu) and wow, that first bite blew my mind! It was super crispy, savory and fresh! Adding wonton chips was genius!!! And you get a lot of food for only $10. My mom had some shrimp tempura & miso soup and she enjoyed it! She said the miso soup was full of flavor! If I was a college kid in Stillwater, I be a regular! It's that good and I would want to try everything on the menu! Go ahead and give Nooki a try if you're in the area!"

"I love it here!! Food is amazing!! The service was great! The waitress was soooo nice. Compliments to the chef Luis. Will definitely be a regular here."
"I was in the restaurant for no less than 30 seconds, and it was the best service I've received in years. The staff was full of energy, excitement, and were very engaged. This tray of rice was only one entree! What a steal. It was enough for 2 (maybe 3) meals, and I loved it. Totally makes it worth it cost wise. The rice does have a stronger garlic taste- so keep that in mind when ordering!"
"I had the udon noodles and a couple rolls of sushi - all delivered by a great waitress. Awesome atmosphere and amazing food. If their dine in experience is this good, hibachi must be even better. I will be going back."
"I have been here a bunch of times - yay I am currently the Duke - and only at the lunch hour. Their lunch specials are awesome and they basically are priced at the cost of a sandwich... but you're eating sushi or a bento box.The sushi is pretty good for the midwest - it would be unfair to compare it to what I can have in my hometown San Francisco - and I am a fan. Wasabi has 3 sushi lunch specials ranging from $8.95 to $10.95 and 5 bento box specials. I have tried them all and the quality value ratio is compelling. On a friday I had their hot sake and it was yummy. Whenever in Old Town on business, I will definitely come here.Seriously, I come here at least twice every week that I'm in town."
"What a gem in this little city! The restaurant offers terrific sushi and table-side cooking! The sushi is fresh and tasty! That's what we tried and there wasn't a bit of disappointment. The sushi boat is enough to feed two to three people and is the best option for those who like to share! The service was excellent, even though they appeared to be a bit short-handed and they can accommodate wheelchair and walker customers with ease. Who knew in the middle of America, somewhere in Kansas, there would be a small restaurant with such good food! If you live here, or are just passing through, it is well worth the drop in! The saki is served warm, just as it should be and the sushi is served cold and fresh. Good eating!"
"Tokyo Pot is a really fun place, and we wonder why does Stillwater have this and not Manhattan (KS) where we live!? Eric R. made reservations several weeks in advance because we knew it would be a busy weekend in town for the Mid-South Gravel Race. When we arrived on time for our reservation, we were initially seated in a this weird dark room away from the entire rest of the restaurant. It was very cold and quiet, no atmosphere. Eric R. asked several times to move and finally they relented and got us a table in the main, much larger, well lit dining area with music in the background. Our server Sophie was an absolute gem. She had waters and a giant can of Sapporo with two frosty glasses for us, and shared honestly about the entree sizes, but we still ordered with our eyes. Eric R. got the large ribeye entree, and I ordered the lamb entree. Both came with rice and veggie trays with cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, tofu and rice noodles. He chose the spicy broth and I chose the Mongolian broth. On the table were soy sauce, ponzu, and "no name spicy" which was similar to sweet chili. The ponzu was a bit sweeter than I was used to also. Then Sophie brought us condiments: grated garlic, grated daikon, and chopped green onions! We were given bowls with spoons for eating, metal chopsticks, and then spoons for getting food or broth out of the induction hot pots in front of us. We also got bowls of whisked egg which we could dip our meat in before cooking or create "egg drop soup" in our broth. We really enjoyed the experience, though I was only used to shabu shabu being with konbu in water rather than flavored broths. The other option was teriyaki which is basically the traditional sukiyaki, but the two we chose were not really Japanese-style, which is okay. It was still delicious and fun!I was really amazed when I learned our server's hometown was where my grandfather was born (5 years before Oklahoma became a state) as it is a very small town. This was a really great experience and good carbs and protein for Eric R. before his big race the next day. Our jackets smelled extremely strong like the broths so you will need to wash any clothes you wore inside! Itadakimasu!"
"Sushi in Kansas. Yes, I tempted fate and survived. After hearing rave reviews from a couple coworker, I decided to check it out and order some takeout. Now, when you order online it says it will take 30-40 mins to prepare your order. So I waited about 30 minutes ran an errand and stopped by to wait yet another 20-30 minutes in the resultant for my order. Now the staff was friendly but waiting over an hour for two rolls was not what I had expected my evening to consist of. Finally getting home the sushi itself was alright, as one of the few sushi places in Emporia I may try it again but honestly was unimpressed. The staff was helpful and did include the extra sauces I asked for which I really appreciated."
"Crab Rangoons, crab Rangoons, crab Rangoons. If you want the best crab Rangoons ever, this is the place!!!!! I loved the food here. We had the chefs special and the sweet n sour chicken. Everything was just great and for me the value was on target. Especially the homemade sauces! Seriously, you can taste the love IMO. My family will definitely be back. After a 6hr drive from Dallas, we have our go to place."
"Don't knock it until you try it. Salmon skin salad is so good here. Perfect blend of marinated salmon skin and crispy vegetables with ginger dressing."
"We like picking up Hibachi Boy in the evenings when we aren't up to cooking. They have a variety of rice and noodle dishes as well as sushi. While this isn't our favorite Asian food restaurant, we enjoy the food and keep going back."

I got the chicken and steak hibachi. The steak was just okay but very "chewy" and the chicken didn't have much flavor. Fried rice wasn't bad hence the two stars. My husband got the maki platter sushi and wasn't impressed either. We had to ask for beverage refills too. They were very friendly though. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be back.

Pretty good poke bowls! We went at 5:30pm on a Friday night and it was pretty busy for a rainy evening. The only thing the place was lacking was maybe some music playing in the background. HEADS UP: this is not a full service restaurant - you order your food at the counter and they build it in front of you (bowls and burritos), for the sides and sushi rolls they give you a number and bring it to your table.

The Food and service is top notch. I recommend the Bang Bang Shrimp (spicy) or chicken fried rice. Big chunks of chicken. Both are terrific. Ambiance is good. Family friendly or for date night just the two of you.

My rating is for the food I have tried (I plan to try more items on the menu). We ordered the crispy chicken with sauce on the side (Bangkok sauce and peanut sauce), and fried rice with no meat. The crispy chicken was crunchy, light, and not greasy. I really enjoyed the texture and flavor. Between the Bangkok sauce and peanut sauce, I preferred the Bangkok sauce. Fried rice complimented the crispy fried chicken. I plan to come back to try more items on their menu!

Great food really small restaurant easy to relax. It does get a little steamy and sweaty when the restaurant is full.

"Stopped in for lunch and was impressed at the lunch menu. Great pricing on hibachi, and sushi so we choose to do both. The food came out quickly and we had barely finished our beef broth soup. The soup was very hot and had a lot of flavor. The hibachi wasn't too salty and the veggies were perfection... I don't think that I've ever loved broccoli until today. The server checked on us periodically but the pace was relaxed and the overall vibe is peaceful. Will come again next time we're in the area."
"I love this food truck. I was not going to stop because I am Leary about food trucks but the chicken, veggies and rice were great. I have not tried much else from there but I do recommend. Price was good too"
"Eh a solid three in Kansas is probably a five all things considered for sushi. Service was prompt and thorough. I ordered edamame, and egg rolls and two sushi rolls. Egg rolls were deep fried and tasty but greasy in a good way. The $5 plum saki was ok. Edamame was as expected. The two rolls looked good but they just didn't hit the spot. I left all but two bites of the deep fried roll behind. Tasted like sausage inside. That was oddNothing terrible but I wouldn't come back. By 7pm it was getting busy on a Wednesday night."
"I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Service was great from the bar to when we sat down for dinner! The food was delicious! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Their garlic fried rice along was 10 stars for me it was sooo good! I ordered chicken, steak and scallops. Next time I'm back in Wichita I will for sure be back here!"
"This restaurant is exactly what makes Yelp such a handy, even essential app. Driving through the area around dinner, never would have landed here without the guidance of previous reviewers. So thank you- because of you, we had a nice night.4 stars, plus one for location. Great service, good food. On the night we went the white tuna wasn't the best. Salmon and others were quite good. Also enjoyed the agedashi tofu, crab rangoon, and edamame. Worth considering if you're passing through- it's a solid option locals are rightly proud of."
"Great food- fresh, fast and shareable quantities. The best ragoons I have ever had. Everyone loved the food and orange sauce."
"I came here for a quick bite after a long road trip through Kansas. My friend doesn't like sushi so we went here because he could order a regular entrée. The food was ok. The service was ok too. I think because it's a small town and they were getting ready to close, the service was lacking. Our server didn't even know what beers they offered. I'm from Vegas and I'm used to a certain standard of service. I'm not going to give them a hard time but I would like to see better service. The sushi was ok but nothing to rave about."
"Amazing food and amazing staff to take care of a group of 5 hungry guys. The staff did an amazing job from start to finish on the meal. Would highly Recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Fairly upscale style resteraunt so a great spot for a romantic meal for sure."
"This visit was my first time at Mizumi. I placed an order online (super easy to do) for pick up. I ordered a Cali roll, Dragon roll, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken (kept it basic for the first visit) for two people. The sushi rolls are small but they were great. I would come back and try a few more of their sushi rolls and other items on the menu. They give you a large amount on the chicken fried rice. Keep up the good work, Mizumi!"
"Downtown already with my boys, I brought them here for early dinner. Walking in, the host told us it would be a 30-minute wait. He told the people behind us the same thing, but yet we were still seated within five minutes. SCORE.With an impressive selection of rolls to choose from, my kids went nuts...and ordered California Rolls. Oh well, I'll teach them culture eventually. As for me, I went with Eel and Avocado, Spicy Tuna, and Spicy Salmon. I've had Sushi all around the world and simply know what I like. This was very good.Service was good, food was stellar, and my kids were happy. Is there a better experience?"
"Soooo good. I was not expecting this quality in the middle of nowhere Kansas. My expectations were pretty low going in, but I was SO mistaken. The Kani salad was delicious, and it had a good amount of grab to spinach. We tried several rolls, they were all tasty and well out together, I am always happy when I actually get some fillings to go with all that sushi rice. The inside was neat and clean with very comfy booths. Lots of parking space and easy to navigate to."
"Drove through this small town and saw the Saiko food truck from the road. After being so sick of eating burgers, sandwiches, and wraps from fast food chains. Seeing Saiko asian food was so refreshing and such a nice change during our long road trip cross country. We ordered the Chicken Hibachi, noodles, Hollywood Roll, Roe and Roll, Edamame, Thai Tea. The sauce was so good on everything! And did I mention the portions are huge, especially for the price value. And the customer service was friendly! We were so hungry I forgot to take photos. Who would have thought for a food truck in the middle of Kansas. Haha!"
"This place is connected to a sushi restaurant. I believe the menu serves both sides. We (my adult son and I) had split the halloween roll and he ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi and I the eel ramen. II was very impressed - everything was perfect. Great food and nice service as well. And the atmosphere was relaxing and very Japanese. (even if they did play lady gaga lol) decor"
"While traveling from Wichita, Kansas to Newkirk, Oklahoma, (No, I'm not on Witness Protection), I had an incredibly hard time finding an open restaurant on Sunday evening. But, through Yelp, I found - of all places a Sushi Steak house in Arkansas City. This is a quaint little place, which cooks its Steaks and Seafood via a hibachi grill. You can't sit at or around the grill, in fact you can't even see the grill, but they have nice cozy booths.I sampled the sushi and sashimi selections. A few spicy rolls, the fresh salmon and tuna and asked if the Chef had a favorite unique roll they love making...*Crickets*Our server just pointed back at the menu...I was pleasantly surprised, not overwhelmed, but surprised. The sushi was fresh, and delivered in really respectable portions. The assortment of spicy rolls were plentiful and delicious...but not really spicy. I tried the Spicy Girl and the Jalapeño Roll. Honestly, I was expecting much, so I'm happy with this find in Arc City- spoken like a true native."
"This place is so entertaining! Honestly a bit expensive compared to most other comparable places, but totally worth it for the show. The chef is funny, the atmosphere is homey, he is very interactive and full of humor. I've been a few times now and always ask for extra spicy on everything. He probably thinks I'm nuts, but that is okay. Definitely glad to have this option so close to my home."
"TLDR/ Would go again tomorrow that's how good this spot is! Really tasty and affordable wok style food! Food: 5/5 Food was tasty and spiced well. Bam bam chicken was good but next time we will get the extra chicken for the up charge as the portion was slightly small. The tofu is fried really well! I loved the drunken noodles and would get them again. The spicy basil beef was also flavorful and fried up in a good crispy kind of way. I loved the spicy chili oil, so worth the $.50 cent charge.Service: 5/5 The customer service was good. They even checked in after bringing our food to the table. It's a weird mix of fast casual and sit down. Not sure what to make of it but they seem to care. Ambience: 3/5 The fixtures and some of the plants were dusty. It is a pet peeve of mine to keep dust to a minimum, as that is basically human skin that is just floating around and could end up on my food. Other than that and the floor not being too clean the place lacks a certain polish and could be a little nicer. There was just a few thing that were out of place, it made it feel like maybe there was some deferred maintenance that should be addressed."
"Not bad for quick, cheap "Japanese food!" There's not much of a dining-in experience, so I would encourage takeout. The food isn't amazing or impressive, but it's pretty good--the fried rice and crab rangoons are favorites with the kids."
"I'm not normally a fan of Asian Cuisine however this place is a gem! Egg rolls are amazing! Sweet and sour chicken is also very good! I highlyRecommend this place!"
"Great place! Phoebe(pronounced feebee) and her partner are great! Food is awesome. Please do not assume they will make it the way you want. Please communicate well and the food will be done the way you want it perfectly! Their steak and salmon meal is a really good choice. The place can feel a little crowded when there are multiple party families(families of 6 or more). They will do their best to accommodate. They did for us. If your ever traveling around Garden City then this would be a good spot to try."
"we really enjoyed all the good food here. hubby did a flight of whiskey which he really enjoyed."
"I decided to try Teriyaki House for lunch after several recommendations. I really enjoyed my meal at Teriyaki House, I ordered the teriyaki beef bowl with vegetables over brown rice. The meat was flavored very well, the portion size was very large, and the food was extremely affordable. I recommend the teriyaki beef bowl, it was delicious. I plan to try another bowl during my next visit. If you enjoy flavorful Asian food at an affordable price, well good flavor and large portions, you will not be disappointed."
"This place is amazing. It is neatly nestled off in a quiet neighborhood. If you don't know it's there you might miss it. The food is fresh and tasty. It is actually some of the best sushi I have had in the United States. If you have someone with you, who doesn't care for or doesn't desire sushi at that time, they have several other selections. The service is great, and the people there are very friendly. This is definitely one of my regular go to spots for sushi! I have had friends with me who chose other elections and they were delighted as well"
"Sat down and immediately was asked for our order. Quick service and friendly demeanor by the waitress. She did a great job by keeping her glasses full and our orders filled quickly."
