"The food was good. I enjoyed the freshness of everything made and knowing they source their beef from Wiggins was a huge bonus. Our server wasn't the best, but the food part was good. I will definitely go back and try with another server. He decor and ambiance was lovely, very relaxing. We all agreed the tiramisu needed some help. Next time we will try another dessert. Overall a good meal and we will try it again."
"I have the margarita speck and he has the pepperoni. Absolutely lovely. We also tried the cheese bread--which is actually a cheese pizza with sauce on the side. Surprising, but DELICIOUS! The glasses of wine are smaller than I would have expected. But, the moscato was absolutely DELIGHTFUL. The tiramisu was naked on top! No cocoa powder! But still tasty and rich! A thick, silky mouthfeel with just enough coffee flavor. The service was extremely kind. We cant wait to go back! I would highly recommend this place."

"Excellent food...we haven't had a bad experience yet!! Their bread is delicious, even better dipped in their Alfredo sauce. We even drove 2+ hrs, starving, just so we could eat here."
"A hidden gem for sure! We had to celebrate our girls birthday. Renee is 35 (again) and fabulous. We really loved Amore Italian Restaurant and will definitely go there again! The food was fantastic, and the service was awesome. The fresh rolls were a great addition to the meal. The calamari with red sauce was so good and had a little bit of a "kick" to it. We enjoyed calamari and raviolis for appetizers, spaghetti and meatballs, the tour of Italy, and of course, tiramisu for the birthday dessert! So many more items on their menu that we want to try. 5 Stars! 2315 W. 21st St. N. "My meal at Luigi's was fine! This is a Midwestern red-sauce Eye-talian joint, and it's a perfectly good option when you're in the area and you're looking for a pasta meal.I got the lasagna, which comes baked in a little ramekin. It was very salty and saucy, but also cheesy, which is always welcome. The other people at my table got pasta dishes, including linguine with shrimp, which also looked a little saucy on the plate. I think they are generous with the sauce here.My Caesar salad was really good. I need my Caesar to be mixed properly, with the ingredients well distributed, and this one was.The service was great -- the servers were attentive. I would give this place three stars because the food was just fine, but the service was great and bumps it up a bit."
"Food was absolutely delicious, I had the lemon chicken piccata and it was one of the best I've had. Salad was a tad overdressed but was quite tasty and tiramisu was quite good. Servers was very attentive and friendly - so thumbs up on service Restaurant is small but very airy, a definite winner"
"I really want to like this place but they continue to disappoint. Service is on the slow to very slow side. They give you margarine instead of butter with rolls which are quite good. Ate there 4 times now and the food lacks flavor. Last visit was chicken piccata. It literally had no flavor. Could not taste lemon, capers, butter wine and worse yet, salt. It literally had no flavor. None. People are nice and prices are good, and if you enjoy bland food this is your spot."
"If u are in there area and don't check this place out u are missing out big time. I live 3 hours away and as I sit here writing this I'm think about if it's worth the drive to bring my family back. And the fact that I am even considering it means it probably is! If it were closer to home I would eat here everyday....nuff said"
"For old-school Italian, this is the place. Great food, outstanding service, and atmosphere."
"What a find! We stayed in Salina on our way back to Denver and were pleasantly surprised at what a great, old school, family Italian restaurant this is! Our waiter was the owner's nephew and he did a great job. The food was outstanding and the price/portion ratio was the way an Italian restaurant should be. I got the 1/4 order spaghetti and one meatball and my wife got the stuffed mushrooms (amazing) and a 1/4 order chop salad. All delicious! Loved this place and we will go out of our way to come back."
"Dropped in for a veggie wrap and ended up really enjoying a (much starchier and even more filling) lunch of (!!!) baked potato pizza. (No. Seriously. I'm not making this sh*t up. Only in the Midwest . . . )Service was friendly, and our glasses never went empty. Not sure if and when we'll ever be in Anthony, Kansas, again, but I'm glad we stopped on this trip up to Wichita."
"Delizioso is located at Gore Travel Stop. We decided to try something new and stop here for breakfast. There is a beautiful patio For dining with a couple of flat screen t.v.'s.Inside there was many comfortable places to sit and glass cases to pick donuts, muffins, breads and cookies. Another glass case held cheesecake, orange juice, milk and bottled water. For being early there wasn't many customers. The hostess, Kenya took her sweet time waiting on all of us. It quickly became apparent that we would be waited on in her time..not even a smile. We finally got to order our food and chose a close booth to sit in. The food was great, everything was good except for the way the hostess treated the customers"

The dining atmosphere is very nice. The wait staff very friendly and never did we have to wait for them. The tables all have white table clothes. The food is amazing. The best Italian food in a long time finally in Wichita! Homemade sauces and bread fantastic place! We go there every week! I judge an Italian restaurant by its spaghetti sauce and let me tell you everyone else fails badly! Amore is so wonderful you have to try it! Only one drawback no draft service. Every beer in bottles but to make up for it they give you a very frosty mug!

The food is amazing. It is truly authentic Italian food and not just paste from a jar. We have found the staff to be incredibly friendly as well. It's our favorite spot to take out of town guests.

We were looking for pasta and decided to try a place we've never been (glad we did)!I had the Alfredo with chicken and my husband had the "Chicken Parmigiana Pizza Style", both were delicious! The parmigiana was so big, there was enough for lunch the next day.Sorry, we forgot to take pictures but trust me, it looked good too!

Came thru town and stopped for lunch had the fish and chips. It was OK but it really needed to be fried with a beer batter. The batter they used was more like a cake batter. A beer batter would give it the authentic crunch that was missing. The service was great. Overall a good experience. I'd go back.

"We stopped in for a first try of this new place in Emporia, KS. It was Sunday evening for dinner for five. We got seated right away and the waiter Abit was right there to assist us. The place was clean and redecorated in an Italian theme and pictures. They bring fresh hot Italian rolls to the table with butter to start the meal. We ordered appetizers to start the dinner. We had the baked ravioli with dipping sauce and got seasoned olive oil for the bread. It was all delicious and fresh. Entrees came out piping hot and plenty in the portions. We all had something different. More fresh bread to sop up the sauces. Everyone was well pleased with their meals so we had to try desserts. Tiramisu, cannoli, and limoncello cake. With five forks. Yum, Yum, and more Yum. This is not fast food nor is it cheap. It is fine food at a fair price with excellent service. We were very glad we came and will certainly be back for more deliciousness. Dinner with wine, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. 180 total with very nice tip included. $$$"
"My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch on a weekday, and everything was very good!!!!! I really enjoyed my sandwich. The ingredients tasted very fresh, especially the bread. Will definitely be coming back."
"If you want authentic Italian food made from scratch this is the place to go. Great atmosphere! Amazing food. This is my first time here and I ate the Stromboli. I will be back."
"Wonderful ham & cheese omelet with a giant fluffy biscuit, wonderful service and good prices. If you are traveling on the road and want some home cooking, feel free to stop and stay for a spell...you can charge all your devices because I saw a plug at every table around the walls."
"Have been coming here since I was a kid over 30 yrs ago. Eclectic place and a must when in Salina. Sad thing is only open th-sun. Pizza never disappoints. Make sure to use the honey for eating your crust. The atmosphere is amazing and complete "eye candy " for any type of person.Have and will always be coming back..."
"Excellent Italian place!Came here for a quick lunch.1) Place is clean, welcoming, and classy.2) Waitress was very friendly and very attentive.3) Food: Appetizers and Main Courses were excellent! We ordered several pasta dishes, appetizers, Eggplant Parmesan... and more. The cheesy bread was excellent.I will be returning to this place next time we are in town. Please give them a try!"
"Great Italian food! Best Pizza in Ponca City! The owner operator here works tirelessly to bring the best!!"
"Don't let the reviews about a dingy restaurant keep you away, I feel as though they were overblown. What brought me here was memories from childhood on a trip from Texas to Nebraska. We got the big 10 pizza and the cheese was baked over and with the veggies, which keep true to the Big Cheese style. Pizza was good and so was the experience. we plan on making this a traditional stop on the way from Nebraska to Texas and back."
"I've been wanting to try Angelo's for years but have just never gotten around to it, sadly. I finally made it for a late lunch the other day and it was SO GOOD. While the entree and appetizer were executed well, it was the dessert that stole my heart! I got the limoncello mascarpone cake and it had the perfect egg sponge cake with delicate mascarpone frosting. So tasty and so well done. I also bought a slice of chocolate 3 layer cake and it was amazing as well. Cream cheese frosting with ganache. For my appetizer I had garlic bread with cheese and pepperoni. It was the most delightful grilled cheese I've ever had, crispy, salty, buttery and cheesy. I asked my server what their most popular/best dish is and he recommended the manicotti, which I ordered with Italian sausage and ricotta (pictured below). It came out bubbling hot, smothered in melted mozzarella. The marinara sauce was bright red and a little sweet. My server was so kind and friendly, checked in often, and kept me updated on the progress of each item I'd ordered. I arrived at the typical break time for most servers (2pm-ish) and while he was seating me, another server asked if he was ok. He replied, "Never better" and continued to serve me with that energy, wonderful service, not one single complaint from me. I have to return now to try their pizza and tiramisu!"
"What an adorable atmosphere. I was welcomed with happiness and smiles what a warm feeling the staff brought to my heart!! Food was absolutely delicious. I didn't give much standard being in a small town but they did it great tasting food with the right amount of flavor. The wine that my server recommended for me, Sean Minor Cab Sav was oaky full body and smooth. I ordered the meat baked ravioli and the meat was just so flavorful with the crunchy buttery ravioli. Quarter spaghetti with 1 huge meatball. I was nervous... Last time I've seen a meat ball like that was at Bucca de Pepo.. or however spelt and I never went there again. Not Nico's! I will definitely be coming back when craving Italian. Thank you all for the great experience and allowing me to do my studies here too !"
"Looking over Yelp pizza info for Topeka and settled on LaRocca's Pizza. It was an excellent choice. I had a thin crust deluxe with extra sauce. The pie came out fast and hot with plenty of toppings. Highly recommended if you're looking for pizza in Topeka."
"Stopped in because we had a gift card from my wife's workplace. Saying I was surprised is an understatement. The staff - very friendly and accommodating. Each person we spoke with was helpful without being over the top. Appetizers - best calamari I've ever had. Mushroom were a delicious surprise. Worked great with my steak. The bread is so light and delicious by itself self. Main Course - my wife's fish (can't remember which one it was. Red snapper I think). Much more than expected but flavorful and light. The entire plate was balanced and she loved the green mint sauce too. Ribeye was larger than expected also. Perfect cook. Fat to meat ratio is on point. Side were very good. Star is the steak. My son's lasagna here was much more than expected. Flavor in the marinara is deep. So much happening and it all works. Even a slight heat on the back side. I didn't try any more than that but he loved it. Pricing - yep it's more than some places. What you get for the increased is a better meal, great staff who seem to care, and plenty of food for the price. We will return here and try more off the menu. It's a nice environment with a comfy feel. We went early but when we left it was filling up. They say it's all fresh prepped and it shows."
""I'll meet you anytime you want...at our Italian restaurant."Last night, Penny and I tried The Renaissance Cafe in tiny Assaria, KS (pop. 428). Who would have thought that one could find a high end, elegant and locally sourced dining experience in such a town? Although the menu items were exquisite and the service is what you would expect at a 5-Star international city, I was most impressed with the vision that the proprietor must have had when he/she first walked in to this dying abandoned rural school. This creatively repurposed space fulfilled this entrepreneur's passion and revitalized the entire little town. What a truly unexpected treat!"
"Everything tastes fresh and homemade. They serve their homemade bread with aged balsamic vinegar and olive oil which tastes amazing. I've had their pasta and pizza and both reminded me of our trip to Italy. Very authentic!"
"Ordered the ribeye, penne arrabbiata, and a caesar salad between the two of us. The ribeye had good flavor but was a little chewy. The pasta was nothing special and didn't have any spice to it. Caesar salad was good but it only comes with a tiny piece of bread as the crouton. It's a hotel restaurant so not surprised it wasn't great."
"Wonderful food in Downtown Hutchinson! The warm bread was amazing, and the main course was exceptionally good!"
"Disappointed. We arrived and no one was at the hostess counter so we stood there waiting. We saw a couple of ladies setting at a table drinking wine and we looked around the divider and saw people seated in the restaurant. We continued to wait for at least 5 minutes and no one ever came to the hostess desk. The cook saw us and came around from the kitchen to ask if we wanted to be seated and one of the ladies drinking wine said " I'll seat them ". This was after we had been waiting in full view of them for all this time. Don't know how much longer we would have had to wait if the cook hadn't seen us."
"This is local mom & pop pizza at its finest With so many corporate pizza places, it's great to find a place that makes a traditional pie with a ton of cheese and great sauce."
"Ran by one of the previous owners of Sweet Basil. The recipes are tired and true! Love their chicken teriyaki and spicy shrimp fettuccine. The steamed veggies were perfectly good. Lightly flavored with butter, I believe. The breadsticks are freshly made and delicious! Happy they give two for each entree. You have to try their ranch, I believe it's homemade and it's so addicting. Food is plentiful and affordable. I usually have leftovers for another meal. I love that their food comes piping hot, just the way I like it! I work very close by and it's a quick lunch stop to go with friends. Staff is friendly as well!"
"First time and on point. Great flavor and huge sub sandwich. We had it delivered and she was super nice and friendly. Our food was still warm and delicious. Thank you"
"When I came here, the entire area fronting the main area was in complete demo mode. The restaurant decoration is a cross between Italian and old western. I think it needs an upgrade. However, the food is pretty damn good. Had the calamari pesto...in the Midwest. It was good. Waitress was pretty and very good. Recommend this place if you want Italian in Dodge City."
"I LOVE this place! Friendly staff, great environment, and the food PERFECTION! So much food for such a great price! It was a fabulous night with family and friends!! Over all we give it 5 stars! "This place has very delicious Italian food! I highly recommend for anyone that needs some delicious comfort food and a great atmosphere too. I for got take a picture of what I got, but it was on the lunch menu. The pasta sampler. It had a huge ravioli, piece of lasagna and a manicotti. It was out of this world delicious! Don't make the mistake of driving past! Next time I will get a picture!"
