"We stayed here for 4 days while visiting my mother in law. Our room was the suite, it was large and comfortable. The bathroom is a shower only. The beds are soft. An older TV in the room, but with plenty of channels. The Rudd hotel is the only hotel in town in Nowata, OK. The Silver Saddle is owned by the people who run The Rudd Hotel, but was closed at the time we visited. There is no ice machine on sight but you can go to Homeland Grocery Store for ice or anything else you need. Sonic Hamburgers is directly across the street."
"Ok, I'm so sorry to reduce my review from 2 stars to 1, but my pooch picked up fleas from this place! They supposedly have just 2 rooms for dogs---though we saw many people going in/out of their rooms with dogs, and our designated "dog room" had a broken air conditioning system making the room humid and gross too. I'm afraid that they don't spray for fleas because my dog has never had fleas before and we travel like crazy & he always goes with but this was the first time we've dealt with this. :("
"The owner charged $10 more than the normal price and the room air conditioner didn't work not to mention there was only two working electric wall outlets in the whole room and worse than everything else the room didn't to have a smoke detector the owner was also very very rude also there are roaches infesting the motel"
"The lobby of Hotel at Old Town is unique: there's a waterfall and lots of plants. Some of the hotel rooms and balconies look out onto this lobby, so it almost feels like you're outdoors but you're indoors, if that makes sense. It's kind of bizarre, but I like it. The lobby also has lots of leather couches, tables, chairs, and there's a huge sundries area where you can buy snacks and coffee and beverages and things. My king-sized bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean, especially the bathroom (very important). The lighting in the bathroom is nice and flattering. No tub, but who wants to take a bath in a hotel, anyway? The shower was big, with a detachable shower head. One of my favorite things about my room is that it has a kitchenette! A full-sized refrigerator, sink, dishwasher, microwave, and lots of counter space and drawers. You could make this hotel your little home away from home. This is an old hotel made modern, which you can tell in a few ways, like the air conditioning in the rooms. My air came from a swamp cooler, but I believe they have central air throughout the rest of the hotel. In any case, my room was nice and cool when I wanted it to be."
"Overall it was good stay for a reasonable price. Easy checkin and a room on the fourth floor. Live music in the evenings near the bar. A very hip vibe here. Lots of junk food available for sale and some hot food available in the mornings but nothing appealing so I didn't try it out. Gym was decent. Good equipment all in working in order. Plenty of parking and a restaurant located adjacent to the hotel called rail hoppers is open Tuesday into the weekend. Closed on Mondays fyi. Outdoor space, fire pit and an outdoor pool are also amenities here during prime season but closed during this visit. Room is the high light of the visit. Comfy bed. Roll in shower. Plenty of space. Plugs. Storage etc. the odd thing is the lighting. It's bifurcated at the entrance. Two main switches and not a lot of nuance to the lighting. Price was decent but location was north and east of the city near Koch Industries. There is a Quick Trip and Scooters coffee also adjacent and a liquor store. Access to food options requires a drive either east or west or south into the city. Checkout was odd. I decided to leave a day early and they were a bit rude and tried to charge me for the unused day. I pulled the lifetime status card and she finally relented and asked her manager for an over ride I guess. She was snotty and not very customer service oriented. I stayed three nights and left with a bad taste in my mouth which is unfortunate as I do like the aloft brand. I'll try something else next time. Nothing really worth taking pictures of tbh."
"This motel was great when I stayed there in the summer of 2011. I was even able to negotiate and lock in a reasonable rate for employees of my company. I don't know what has happened since then, but in October 2011, when I went back to this hotel, the clerk laughed when mentioned my rate. When I tried to explain, she wasn't capable of understanding me. She kept thinking that I was asking for a weekly rate. Really frustrating.Anyway, when I got to my room, it was nasty. Nothing at all like how clean it was when I stayed there before. This place showed some potential, and then couldn't keep it up. So... yeah, one star."
"I grew up near Watonga and still have a ton of family in the area. There have never been reliable and great places to stay in the past. I was surprised to hear this casino and hotel had been built. We visit Las Vegas a lot and this honestly felt like a smaller version of a Vegas Hotel/Casino. The staff were super attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. Our room was super clean with high quality sheets and towels. It had tv, microwave and fridge. Bathroom was huge and had everything you could possibly need. We had a drink at the bar (excellent service) and spent some time in the casino (very clean and a great variety of slots) We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but several family members eat there regularly and love it!! We will definitely be back!"
"Know that you need to stay here with a very open mind. I booked this on Airbnb and got a super great deal. All I needed was some beds to sleep in and MoveOn. The amenities of the room are clean beds, TV and refrigerators. They are going through transition and the 5 star rating goes to the new manager that's been here for five days. It's best to check in during the day and he will find you a clean room and give you his cell phone number for questions. We considered looking for another hotel in El Dorado but you're gonna pay more and still The Motels have two star ratings. So, We view this an adventure in a third world country with Walmart down the street."
"You won't believe how nice this place is from the road! Great location right before Pratt. The rooms are very nicely updated. Nice king sized bed. The decor of the room is very upscale. Great tv too and a microwave and fridge. They also provide WiFi. Very nice staff. All this for under $40!!!! The best deal we have ever encountered! Hope to be back!!!"
"Stayed here for 2 nights while at a horse show across the street. Very clean hotel, typical continental breakfast (again clean & tidy). Will stay here again if, when in the area."
"I travel to Southeastern Kansas frequently and this Hampton Inn is the best place to stay! Travis is a shift Manager and he excels in making guests feel comfortable and if there is an issue he corrects it right away. I hope his management understands what a gift he is. This hotel is also the cleanest place I have stayed in the area. I highly recommend this Hampton Inn! Having the restaurant here is a side benefit"
"A clean comfortable room with a microwave and a refrigerator and plenty of room to stretch out for 45 bucks. That's pretty awesome. The girl at the desk checked me in in a matter of seconds. She was amazing. And the bed was comfortable enough that I slept far longer than I'd planned. This place'd be cool even if it wasn't $30-$50 cheaper than nearby hotels. Considering that it is, it's amazing!!"

The couple that runs the motel is very helpful. Went out of their way to make our stay pleasant as we were staying in Lindsborg for my dad's funeral. Thank you.

Lovely hotel in Wichita. Free parking! So there's a huge plus. Hotel is really modern looking and clean with small kitchenette in our room. Front desk was incredibly welcoming and helpful with dinner and entertainment plans with discounted venues. Room was comfy and clean and quiet with a great shower. You are right in the heart of town and if we are back in Wichita, here's where we will be staying. Also, hotel rate is very reasonable.

Stayed here for work a work trip last week, great location close to a lot of restaurants. In fact there is a restaurant located in the parking lot and on the other side a Quick Trip. The property and inside the hotel is very clean no complaints there. The rooms are decent, pillows are very comfortable , water in the shower stays hot the entire time you're in it. There is a refrigerator in the room, no microwave, however they have one downstairs near the front desk. The hotel its self is very modern, they have a bar, lots of areas to hang out inside and outside. They have a pool as well (closed for the winter). For all the furry owners they even have a welcome station for them! It's super cute! The hotel welcomes them by their name on a board and provides water and doggie treats:). If you're in the area for a quick stay I recommend staying here.

"I give it 5* due to the convenience of it all.Driving at night can get you tired so this spot allows you to park right in front of your door, which is awesome if you have pets kids or heavy bags. Fixer upper no doubt but for the $ it was fine. May wanna bring blankets to lay on top of but I'm extra. Otherwise I just called , since it wasn't easy to find a website and she held my room. $50 plus $20 cash pet deposit which I got back at check out, not many questions asked but there if you needed anything. Bring hotel socks or slippers , if your germaphobe don't stay here."
"Clean, comfortable and quiet. Came in later in the day after a long car ride. Felt relaxed minute I walked in"
"Beaumont Hotel is located in such a quiet area in the Flint Foothills. When you need to get away from all the rat race of the city then this would could be the ticket. The Hotel is historical, and so is the last wooden train water tower. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing. I haven't ever stayed overnight but would love too someday. The Inn keepers are so friendly and ready to please. The second Sunday of each month from March to Oct is a Motorcycle breakfast run. The food is to die for, you must try the biscuits and gravy with the breakfast buffet, the biscuits just melt in your mouth. There is a little airfield and the planes taxis down the street and park beside the inn. There are many places to visit that are close by that are also historical. If you get a chance stop and check it out..."
"This hotel was great! The room was much more than expected, enough room for 5 people. The bed was not the greatest, but worked for a quick nap. A last minute booking. Very clean, breakfast was very good. Front desk staff was attentive and quick."
"Inexpensive place to rest. Not threadbare, but it seems to have a low level of maintenance attention. Initial room had difficulty with pass card, and the solution was a different room. Room had a hot water shower valve that had to be set in just the right position to get a minimal hot water flow, which then blended with the cold water to get a very warm shower. Room had a smell of water leakage. Many dead insects in the outer halls. Had an encounter with a deer in the parking lot-that was different. Lots of active looking younger people. Some seedy-looking porch smokers with an air of paranoia and jitters. At the very end of a shared driveway nearest the interstate. It seemed some of the rooms were not available to lodge."
"Therebis absolutely no question that this is a no frills motel. However, the place is clean, quiet and the staff sas fantastic when the Rodeway in Hays sold my reservation out from under me and I had to find a room at 1 AM on a Friday night during the peak of summer travel season."
"This location really tanked but not totally. My real major complaint was the concierge / receptionist Dylan *, he was quite unfriendly and quite condescending. He gave me unhelpful advice on where my room was and made me switch rooms when I entered my room to find there was no shower curtain in there and acted like I stole the whole thing. The hotel had quite a few positively amenities. It has plenty of parking, a beautiful courtyard, fair breakfast options. The pantry has terrible choices to choose from, quite pricey too."
"Great price. Clean, comfortable room. It had a bit of an odd color scheme, with three yellow walls and one green. The bedspreads were a bit dated, but I don't care about that kind of stuff. On the inside of the hotel, they have a huge atrium with a pool and a hot tub and all room doors on the two levels face the pool. There is a cute little awning around the edge so it looks like a southern California motel with a pool while being an inside hotel. Overall I thought it was definitely a fair value for the price, especially since it was the only hotel for quite a good trek. Ness City, KS was not our destination and this is not a destination hotel, but they are definitely affordable, clean, and friendly."
"Rating based on value, this is not a high end hotel. On a family road trip and needed a stopping place for one night. Checked in late but check in experience was very pleasant. Rooms are large with two beds, sofa, and a kitchen. Room interior is updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. They have internet TV and most importantly, THE MATTRESSES ARE SOFT AND GOOD QUALITY!!!"
"Small town but big on taste. The salad bar was not all that great on variety and selection but the veggies were fresh! I ordered a steak and it was very tasty and cooked to perfection! Mom had a chicken friedSteak and mashed potatoes and complimented that it tasted homemade (yum)! Fresh loaf of bread came with the meal! On the way out (or in) they have a great selection of Ice cream!"
"Sleep in checked all the boxes for my 4 night stay with my 2.5 year old daughter.* Very clean room.* Comfortable bed and pillows.* Fast check-in and -out.* Friendly staff.* Friendly guests (lots of people there were clearly regulars or regulars of the Sleep Inn brand)* Breakfast offered gluten free items (however we never actually ate a breakfast here but I snagged a few Glutino bars).* Close highway access.* Quiet location.* A great value overall.I will be staying here again when in town to visit family. Soon a new restaurant will open next door and we can walk over for dinner."
"I realy enjoyed my stay. The location was quiet and very homey. The staff was friendly and helpful. I have 3 kids all under the age of 5. I needed a place to take them to burn off energy and was told about the O-Zone. Thank you from the Click Family."
"We stayed her during a big hot rod show in town. Room was clean and acceptable, and didn't smell too much like smoke, though the undertone was there. Bathtub drained slow, but compared to some of the other inexpensive hotels I have stayed in, it was certainly acceptable. The room had a fridge and a microwave, but the hotel pool seems to be shut down permanently. For what you pay, there are far worse rooms, trust me."
"This was a last minute decision. Driving across U.S. with our small dog and ended here for night. For the price it worked with the small additional dog fee. The property needs some updating. I suggest not taking a room on the same side of lobby as there is a gas station and truck stop across parking lot which was noisey all night. The breakfast was ok but some items were a little dry from sitting soo long.Would not stay again."
"A perfect little get away for 2 if you are visiting Joplin, Missouri. We booked online, the office is open 8-4pm each day and the staff was attentive, responsive, and kind. They text the door code and check in info so you can arrive and depart freely. Our Chalet was Country & Western themed, clean, and plenty of towels, full bath, extra linens, optional trundle bed, and a kitchenette for coffee & a full sized refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The sitting area is nicely furnished and a Roku flat screen tv for entertainment, the bedroom had a king size bed, nice decor and an additional Roku tv. It's about 8 miles to downtown Joplin or 10 miles from the interstate. Plenty of things to do in the area. Private paved parking per chalet, close to the well lit sidewalk to each. This is near the road but quiet, and the price was the same as a chain basic hotel with little privacy. We really liked it, plus supporting a local small business. No RV or semi parking. The chalets appear to all be walk in ground level, so handicap should be fine. The road noise was minimal, and the room was very clean."
"I just spent two weeks at Best Budget Inn of Carthage, Missouri, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the bed was quite comfortable. In fact, about the only negative I can think of is the tiny size of the shower. Aside from that, the room was perfect! Next time I am in Carthage, they will definitely have my repeat business. Hopefully, that will be in warmer weather, when I can take advantage of the pool!"
"Super rates...about $60 a night.Super clean...not fancy but clean. Bathroom was spotless.Kingsized beds.Microwave and dorm fridge in room. Large TV.Plenty of parking in front of your room. There's plenty of electric outlets in both the bathroom and the room. And the bathrooms are the best part of the large rooms. Seperate showers and tubs and not one but two sinks in the dressing area. This is the nicest of the 3 or 4 hotels in Nevada and the best rate for sure!If you are coming back for a reunion, to check out Cottey or just tired and need to find a place for the night...this is it."
"4 star for a place to stay for WORK. Stayed here for about a month while working nearby. Friendly owners/staff. Yes rooms are a bit dated but most motels are, the rooms are very comfortable, has all the basic motel amenities you need, rooms are spacious, bathrooms are too. Good tv package & good wifi, had a recliner in my room, bed was comfortable with lots of pillows! Really tuff to beat the value for the price here on a weekly basis, not sure about nightly rates. A couple good places to eat within walking distance, & Walgreens right next door. The ice & laundry machines were out of order while I was there. Had a few issues getting room service but that got worked out after speaking to front desk. I would stay here again for work!"
"We booked a Room and decided to make it a little Mini Vacation -- while going to their Event Center to see Charley Pride in Concert! Their prices are higher during events -- so it was $169, plus Tax -- totaling $185.30. Apparently, Sunday through Thursday their rates are usually between $99 and $129.Booking the room went easily with 'Bryson' about 2 weeks before the event. When we showed up and checked in, 'Kevin' checked us in, gave us our keys and explained their 'Free Breakfast' that comes with renting a room. We went and got our bags and went up to the 3rd Floor and our keys wouldn't open the door. So we trekked back down to the Lobby and they reprogrammed our keys. Up we go, and the door opened fine this time. The maid kept watching us from the hallway -- which was a little unnerving. So we drop off our bags and check everything out -- then we decide to go get an early Dinner before the Concert. We went to their Flat Water Bar & Grill (see that additional Review) and had our Appetizer, Dinner and Drinks. Then, in less than an hour, we head back to our room to relax before the Concert. So we reach the Elevator and when the door opens -- there are 2 Security Women with a Rolling Valet and ALL OF OUR POSSESSIONS are on it. Hubby WAS in such a good mood up until then. He didn't recognize our stuff, but I did! I said 'What's going on?'. The older of the 2 says 'That's what we want to know! You've been ejected! There is no record of you checking in -- how did you get in that room? Did the Maid let you in?'. I said 'we checked in and were given keys' -- by then Hubby said 'Oh HELL NO!!' And he STORMED over to the front desk -- the women ran and got the Manager who came out to the Counter. The man that checked us in, looked and saw that HE GAVE US THE WRONG ROOM! He apologized profusely and looked highly embarrassed. We said "who is taking our stuff back upstairs?' and the Manager told the man who made the mistake to do it. That aside, the Room was very Clean and Nice. No Frig or Microwave for $185 -- only in the Suites, which are an additional $30 a night. The Bed was comfortable and it had 4 pillows -- which is good -- because we each use 2 pillows at night. The TV was a good size and the Accessories in the Bathroom were nice (in case you forgot to pack yours). I felt grateful that we weren't placed next to the Elevator or the Ice Machine, since we are both light sleepers! The MOST Fantastic part was that Hubby went to get Ice for us and CHARLEY PRIDE was getting his own Ice!!!!! Wish I hadn't stayed behind unpacking! Later that evening after the Concert several of his Band Members passed us in the Hallway :) Without that incident with the Security Person -- I would have rated this a 5 Star Experience. I decided to call and discuss it with the General Manager, but she was on Vacation and won't be back until February. I wish I had looked at that Woman's Badge -- she was Impertinent and Rude. Made us feel like Common Criminals (who paid $185 a night). I know the exact time it occurred and fully intend to pursue this with the General Manager (Lorianne McClintock) upon her return. Oh, and they have Room Service between 5pm and 9pm. Just so that you know -- there is a TRAIN across the street! So it wasn't quiet through the night (unless you are used to sleeping around Train Tracks). The 'View' out of our window -- overflowing Trash Dumpsters!!"
"Outside makes me think of a rundown daycare... The hallway is ghetto and the room needs to be thorough cleaning."
"I stay at this moetel several times a year. This is a basic motel with limited amenities. I rate it 5-stars because the rooms are clean and comfortable at an affordable price. I appreciate the inroom coffee. The area is usually quiet."
"This appears to have once been a "Best Western" hotel. It is nicely furnished, warm and inviting. Its the holiday season so they are putting up all their Christmas decorations...very pretty. The gym is somewhat small, three pieces of equipment...but better than some of the other hotels that I have stayed in. There is an outdoor pool, but it is seasonal...no swimming when the snow is falling. My room was perfect. It was warm, comfortable, and the bed was pretty nice. Fixtures are new and efficient...it is refreshing to have a good shower head...dont laugh, many hotels are really lacking with quality fixtures. Also in my room was a mini frig, microwave and single cup coffee maker. My TV was not a newer flat panel that you see in most hotels today, but the picture quality was excellent. It is nice to chick the remote and not wait 15-seconds for it to move into the next channel.Breakfast this morning was good...however, be expecting to cook your own sausage and eggs...thats a first for me. The plus side was that the food was hot and fully cooked...thats positive in my book. All said, this really is a nice hotel, good prices...and they fill up quickly. I had reservations but when I arrived there was a "No Vacancy" sign on the door. I havent seen that in some time. Not being a Best Western any more, this property most likely is locally owner...not some big giant hotel chain...local business' need our support, give these folks a try...my experience was very good, yours may be as well...!!!"
"If you're in Hutchinson for a night or a week or a month, etc. stay here! We came to town for a concert at the Fox Theatre, and the only motels downtown were sketchy at best. I stumbled upon this place via the website, and called about renting rooms. The owners are super nice and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, well furnished, and relaxing. If we're in town again, we will always come back to this place!"
