"I just called them to order some plywood, drywall, and insulation. The lady on the phone was rude and unhelpful. I was willing to spend $500 on materials today at my local lumber store. Unfortunately her customer etiquette was so bad I just told her nevermind and to cancel the order. I'll be making a trip to Lowe's today instead. It's sad. If this company wants to survive then they better hire people who at least treat their customers in a friendly and professional manner. Sadly, this store is not an asset to Winfield Main Street."
"This hardware store may look small. But they certainty have everything! The staff was very friendly. It is a one stop shop for anything missing, tool rentals, and even dog treats."
"Hutch has a really good Lowe's store. Over the past few years we have purchased four appliances, been to the garden center more times than I could remember and shopped for home and hardware items. Recently we had a great experience with a purchase of custom shades/blinds, Lisa was very helpful and even gave us a follow up call to make sure everything was okay."
"The good: inexpensive tools, consistent inventory, public bathrooms, large selection of tool types, discounted tools section for even cheaper prices. The bad: not the best return policies, some tools are very low quality, not as good as Home Depot."
"Nevada, MO is our home away from home. We have recently been working on a construction project there. I am so grateful for Sutherlands HomeBase. They have been so helpful throughout our process. One particular standout is Sebastian who works in the paint department. He is exceptional! We have bought so many gallons of paint, and in the process I have seen Sebastian serve dozens of customers. He is an incredible ambassador for this company. He is polite, efficient, and incredibly knowledgeable. I was genuinely shocked to find out that he is a high school student. He takes such pride in his job!"
"I love Lowe's. I really do. While I am more partial to the depot, that is my second home, los has been really great for finding some items like plants that the other place doesn't carry. Is also closer, so it's good for a quick grab for some items as well.Service when we come to Liz kind of hit and miss, but it's it's been on average, average. While I hope for more, I am satisfied because it could be worse. But it's not it's average and average is still OK.As far as products go, they do have some good deals from time to time so I do like to look out for those because they can be a really good value if you are doing a large project."

Some of the most unhelpful, most unfriendly employees I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

why is it so hard to find a product on this site? trying to find out if the nevada store has any 4x4x14 or 6x6x14 treated post so i can put up a shade sale; like to know it they have any and what they cost ; but the site keeps saying product not found; I was in the store last week so i know they have it and i live 30 miles from them to just hope they have what i need this week ; like to know if they have 14 ft long pipe ? this is why i don't shop at this store unless i really have to ; they do cost more to shop here but beats driving to joplin or pittsburg.ks

Terrible store, no one available to help. Just spent 20 minutes waiting to check out because the only person checking people out is haveing a life conversation with a customer and then finally when I get help I get even more of my time wasted by being used for training.... So let me stand around for another 5-10 minutes while the person who doesn't know what they are doing try's to show the new person what to do...... thank you so much for turning what was a 5 minute run to a store for some bolts into a 45 minutes ordeal because you can't be bothered to hire more then one cashier or pay to properly train your staff

This is a gem of a old time hardware store...pretty much anything you could need they have. Friendly knowledgeable staff to locate things where no one else could guess. Prices may be a bit steep, but for not having to go to a bigger city, it's worth it!

About 2 years ago we purchased our home in Wichita, KS. We found a Whirlpool D/W on sale at Lowes and also purchased a Whirlpool Reverse Osmosis and a Garbage Disposal. I believe that ALL of our faucets / shower fixtures came from Lowes, as well. I also selected a Granite Bathroom Vanity Top and the young man that helped me load it was happy to let me inspect it before driving home. On the reviews for this product on Lowes' website -- there were some complaints about finding chips on the edges. We had paint custom mixed in their Paint Department to match our newly installed Vinyl Siding and it was a perfect match!!After we moved in, we actually ordered a Bookcase and a Display case from Lowes. And all of my Paint products came from Lowes. I believe that our Replacement windows came from Lowes too!!

"Amazing local place to do your business. My son and I went in for 2 new bulbs and the owner Rick told us we could upgrade to LED by pretty much ourselves without an electrician. 2hrs later my son and I have now bonded over upgrading a light fixture and no one got electrocuted. Go here over the Manhattan or Salina."
"This Lowe's location is almost always our first stop for home repairs, appliances and remodel options. From a washer to a refrigerator, the appliance options are extensive and delivery is incredibly simple. We've worked with this location to plan new countertops in our kitchen and new flooring in our bathrooms and kitchen. We've always received excellent service at this location and are able to get our house back in order quickly. We've made purchases from a variety of departments - plumbing, lawn and garden, paint and more - and have had no trouble finding someone to assist us with questions and special orders. I've been to several Lowe's stores and continue to choose this one as my favorite because of the excellent customer service."
"Awesome guys ! Always deliver on time and have great prices. prompt communication and very professional ."
"Kay was sooo awesome. You can buy anything in that store from a walker to a gun to her head fudge sundae to your prescription medication to ammunition to sidewalk chalk. But Kat was awesome! Thx for making our stop from Vegas to Chicago amazing?"
"I have lots of tools fro Harbor Freight and love to go there and shop and highly recommend them for cheaper bargain tools. Harbor Freight carries just about any kind of tool you might need for home of work use. I am a professional mechanic and I use tools all the time. The cheaper brands you find here are great if you loose tools, or need one that you won't use a lot. If you have to use a tool a lot and don't want to replace it often then buy a better brand, such as Snap-On or Craftsman brand."
"Maybe I'm slightly on the odd end of the scale, but I love browsing the isles of this place. From rope to tools, to camo, to metal, this place has a random collection of items at an extremely cheap price. The other day I saw a set of bowls for .50 cents next to air compressors. The metal yard is in the back and the random crap store is in the front....... I love this place. You need surgical tubing - they got it.You need hats they say police - they got it.You need fabric (heavy duty fabric....... they got it.......... and of course they have duct tape."
"This is a very large store with a huge selection of home improvement items, appliances, lawn and garden. The store is normally well organized and clean. The staff is helpful if you can find one. The one true challenge of shopping in this store is finding help. The prices are great and sometimes they have large ticket items on clearance for an extra great buy. Whether you are re-doing the kitchen or a whole house, this is a good place."
"There are so many positive things to be said about Jabara's. About 2 years ago, we purchased a home that needed extensive renovation. We went to all of the usual Hardware Stores and checked out their linoleum and carpets. Although I found a linoleum that i liked -- my Husband didn't love it -- so we continued looking.Since we were relatively new to the area, we weren't sure where to look next. My Husband passed by Jabara's while working and mentioned it when he got home. We looked Online at their Website and decided to go there TOGETHER to look at their products.I had found a ceramic tile that I wanted to use in the bathroom and wanted the flooring and carpet to 'sort of' blend. I found one and my Husband found the other linoleum sample. Their Sales Rep 'Spencer' said that we could take the sample home and bring them back with our dimensions. He then handed us some recommended Installers cards. My Husband found a carpet that he LOVED and that was that!! I also wanted some indoor / outdoor carpet for my basement stairs. They had tons in stock and Spencer sent home samples for me.I called 3 of the Installers and got estimates. I DID NOT chose the least expensive one. He wanted to just install the new flooring over the old flooring (which was torn and curling). The one that I chose recommended putting a subfloor over the old flooring. The house is old, the flooring was old -- it made sense to me!!I went back in to Jabara's and placed my order with Spencer. My Installer, Paul, worked diligently putting in the new subfloor. When my order arrived, he went and picked it up and started the installation. I arrived at the house about an hour into his installation and told him -- 'That's not the flooring that I ordered' -- he looked shocked! I still had the sample in my vehicle and he agreed, it wasn't correct. So he took the sample and the linoleum back to Jabara's and it turned out that 2 of the #'s had been transposed and it would take another week for this order to arrive. My Installer was leaving on a 2 week Hunting Trip, but recommended another Installer to install the linoleum -- but he still wanted to handle the carpet installation. Other than being a little disappointed -- the delay really didn't matter, because we still had a lot of work to do. The substitute Installer, Leonard, did an excellent job!! Paul came back and installed the Living Room carpet and the Indoor / Outddor carpet. Everything looked WONDERFUL!!I had been looking at some counter tops at the Hardware Store -- but would have been extremely expensive. A young lady from one of the Hardware Stores recommended resurfacing my existing counters. I found a sample that matched my linoleum and ceramic tile (close enough) and went to Jabara's to talk with Spencer. We put that laminate on order and once again he recommended some Installers. Our countertop was very dated -- that white with gold glitter from the 70's. It was in decent shape -- but I thought clashed with the dark cherry cabinets and our new Taupe / Green / Copper flooring. The Installer that I used was named 'Marvin' and he did a wonderful job.Everything was handled very professionally and I have receipts for every single transaction -- including from all 3 Installers. All the way to the 'Thank You' note that I received from their Customer Service Manager 'Jennifer' after everything was concluded.I highly recommend Jabara's. Even the error was handled in a very professional manner. If anyone needs the name of my Installers' Companies and their phone numbers -- message me on Yelp."
