I needed a haircut and full color desperately and quickly before a trip. Thankfully, they were able to get me in with Katie and she was awesome. She listened to what I wanted done and did an amazing job with my hair. I'm also loved how professionally, yet personable she was.

Terrible color service from a stylist and rude customer service from the owner. I gifted my nanny a hair color service so she could cover her grays and get a refreshed color for family photos. This salon has been in business for decades so I trusted that they would take care of her. After 2 hours, my nanny messaged me saying she would be another 90 minutes because her roots had turned out a completely different color than her ends and they needed to strip all the color and do it all over. When I finally picked her up, I found her almost in tears, blow drying her own hair and trying to wipe dye stains off her forehead and face. The stylist (Brittany) had left her alone in the chair without a word and disappeared into the back room and never returned. I told Mr. Halaseh that the result was unsatisfactory because the color was uneven and the stylist had only dyed the top layer of hair and had left all the under layers a different color. Instead of apologizing or offering to make things right he tried to justify the result. When I told him I would need to go elsewhere to fix the hair, he became snippy and rude and cut me off by saying "Fine. Have a good day." and stalked off without another word.

Beautiful salon. I changed from my old place for different reasons and was blown away. Andrea consulted with me about my concerns and I ended up seeing a new person in the mirror with the perfect cut for my type of hair, which was more than I'd hoped for. I'm so happy I chose Fringe to try out of all the salons in east Wichita!

I Progression's! I have been going there for 10 years and seeing the same stylist - she is kind of like a sister to me now, lol. I look forward to going and getting my hair done each time. It is my quiet mommy time. I get to have great conversation, and I know my stylist truly cares about me and making me feel good. She has been through a lot with my in these 10 years, but has always been there to brighten my day (or week) when I needed it. I highly recommend checking out Progression's. They also cut my girl's hair, and do with a great job with them.

LOVE this place! Found it in the midst of COVID shut downs. After salons were allowed to open, they were quick to get me in, even though they were swamped. My stylist is Cheyenne and she is amazing. I have yet to leave her chair feeling dissapointed. She is kind and personable without that feeling of forced conversation. If you want to sit and relax, she takes the cue and just cuts hair. If you want to talk and laugh, she's good at that too. The price is spot on for the work she does. If you mention a concern, she doesnt try to explain it away because she has a busy day and has to get to her next client. She will take the time to explain why she thinks you dont like the way something looks and will fix it, usually after giving you some options on what she thinks you will like. The GREAT thing about her is once you go throught that first cut with her, she actually remebers the little quirks and insecurities you have about your hair. I have FINALLY gound a stylist I am happy to use more than just a few times. She is amazing!

Great salon! The first thing I noticed my first time in was the paint job on the walls--very chic and added a ton of flair to the place, especially with is generic strip mall location and accommodations. Went in, as usual, to have Sonia work her magic on my poor fingers and toes--she's amazing every time! Never disappointed. Definitely the ONLY nail tech of her kind in Manhattan, KS. She works hard and spends her free time exploring new nail techniques and is always up to date on current trends and advancements. She is attentive to each and every client and even hooked me up and went out of her way to buy me some shampoo for my red hair at her killer cosmetologist discount price :) had it ready for me at my next nail appointment. Highly recommend this gem!
