"Fantastic beef BBQ. It's a food truck in a old car wash place. Great folks great food. Smoked right there in the front."
"When I say "authentic" I mean authentic. If you want fresh tasty food, stop by. The green salsa was so tasty, carne asada was soft extremely tasty. Don't pass this food truck up, best Mexican food in Garden City hands down."
"This is a fabulous food truck, Noi's Food Truck is a gem. Best egg rolls and very good chicken. Authentic and great prices."
"Even though it's another barbecue food truck, I'm glad we're getting more of them in a city that should probably have more quality 'que than we already have. While Brick House isn't much better than what is already established, it's not any worse, either. As a result, the order is a two-meat dinner of pulled pork and brisket with baked beans and mac and cheese. Pulled pork is not something most restaurants around here struggle with, but Brick House's rendition is better than the status quo. Every bite was bursting with juicy pork and is the one thing to order if this food truck shows up in your parking lot. The same superlatives cannot be shared for the brisket, which couldn't quite convert all of its connective tissues in the time it was provided on the pit. It wasn't inedible, but I used up my little plastic container of sauce. Mac and cheese was overcooked and didn't place as much emphasis on the cheese as I would like. Baked beans were canned, but dressed up with some fresh jalapeno to improve texture.Brick House isn't the best Wichita has to offer, but the recent new entries into the category at least approach it with an enthusiasm and effort that outweighs some of the ensconced businesses around town. Plus they have turkey legs, if you're into that sort of thing."
"Loved the burritos! Best Mexican food we've had in the mid-west and very reasonably priced! Thank you!!!"
"This little food truck spot is located right in the middle of all the action guymon has to offer. Menu options aren't too many... signs on the truck needs to be updated because they don't serve a lot of the things they advertise. What they do offer is tacos, tortas and burritos. For the meat they had a ton of different options. I ordered carnitas but again they didn't have any. Finally after going through what they did have I ordered the tacos al pastor and chorizo tacos with avocado. If you want authentic Mexican tacos at a very good price!!! this is the place to go!! They where absolutely delicious! The meat was very well seasoned and spicy! The chorizo was my favorite. Everything made fresh. It totally made up for everything else. They also sell coke in glass bottle, my favorite! Service was amazing. The girl and guy there where very friendly. I will definitely be back!"
"I attended a wedding they catered and the BBQ was terrific. Very professional, clean serving area and the food was excellent which is rare when doing BBQ in bulk like that. I would definitely have them cater my own event if I were more local!"
"Fantastic food truck! They really do amazing BBQ and have great specials!! And support a small business!! Can't miss with Bull Creek!!"
"Tried the burnt ends sandwich last week. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. Today, tried the smoked chicken wings with garlic Parmesan sauce. These were the best, smoked wings I have ever had. Definitely worth the money. The food was at our table quickly and the waitstaff is very friendly. They also offer an all you can eat pizza and salad buffet for lunch for $10! Open on Sunday's which is a huge deal for a small town! You won't be disappointed!"
"The bus is on the corner of 21st and Broadway. I found it on a Friday night.Barbacoa. Asada. Al pastor. Chicarones.Double-wrapped in corn tortillas, served with some lime wedges, warmed radish halves, grilled onions on the side, and a whole grilled jalapeno. You get a little cup of the poblano crema salsa that's popular in those parts.Best Mexican food I've had in Wichita."
"We are lucky enough to have an amazing food truck stop in town! I had the best burger in such a long time! I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with a side of onion rings. I actually texted the order in which they were super responsive and nice! I showed up an hour later and it was ready! The burger was medium and totally juicy with great flavor with Loads of mushrooms and Swiss cheese. The bun was brioche bread and light and fluffy but withstood the burger. A side of mystery sauce that I dipped the crispy perfect onion rings and I was in heaven! Can't wait for them to come back! Apparently, they come every Thursday and park over at lucy's old place. Go check them out, you won't be disappointed! Text them to get your order and no wait!"
"We just stumbled on this place after finding that most of the restaurants are closed here on Monday nights. My husband had a burrito and he found it fantastic. I had the five tacos and they were excellent. The salsa is very spicy. Just the way we like it. I had the Horchata to drink, and it was one of the best I've had. Highly recommend stumbling on this place for yourselves!"

3 words... SMOKED TURKEY LEGS!!! I'm talking tastes like the Kansas State Fair WITHOUT all the walking, searching, and "Sorry we're SOLD OUT" crap. And you can find it right here in Larned. Just follow the beautiful smells of smoked meat, just west of Casey's on 14th. You won't regret it.

I am fortunate because my place of work has decided to allow food trucks in a plaza area daily and I was able to visit Brickhouse BBQ during my lunch hour. I was excited because I am a fan of food trucks and BBQ so how could I go wrong? I tried the pulled pork nachos with everything on it. I was so happy with my delicious decision. It was a great size for the price and I will be returning to visit for the nachos again! #sogood

This place is fantastic, the food is delicious, the people friendly, the atmosphere a cool and laid back urban vibe on the East side of Topeka. Search no more for your go to Mexican place. I work at HP and this is where our Mexican kids say to go.. and they were right.

"One the best Tacos I had in a very long time after I sold my own Taqueria. Authentic flavors, particularly al pastor and tongue tacos. Great service, family owned."
"I've been wanting to try this Soul BBQ. Finally, I caught them OPEN. The atmosphere was very homey, and the gentleman behind the counter was very professional and knew the items back and forth. The service was great. Love was placed in the food. My order consisted of 1 Fry Bread, 1 order of smoked chicken wings/ loaded chicken fries, and Loaded Chicken Fries."
"In the past four years The Flying Stove has almost single-handedly grown Wichita's food truck scene into what it is today - dozens of trucks, the wildly-popular Food Trucks at the Fountain event, and the creation of the Wichita Food Truck Coalition. Nary a brewery of coffee shop can be found without a food truck parked outside of it on the weekend, and it's put us on par with bigger cities; we're not just playing catch-up here.Even with the many imitators the Flying Stove inspired, there's few that can offer the creativity of the original, with weekly menu rotations that offer accessible takes on a variety of international dishes. It's ambitious, and not always 100% successful, but it's interesting and pretty good, which is really what you need for a successful traveling culinary roadshow like this. I may have had better meals at other trucks, and I've certainly had a lot worse with a lot of other trucks, but when I see The Flying Stove parked somewhere I know that there will be something good there waiting for me."
"Best to wash hands before eating..... ordered chicken sandwich. It was literally finger licking good. Friendly staff, super busy and had short wait on food. Best to order ahead."
"Wichita's food scene continues to grow and provide us with cuisines that are otherwise unavailable in the city. For years the only German restaurant has been on wheels, and now the city's only crêpery roams the streets, too. The egg pancake has long been found on streets in Europe, so the concept translates well to a food truck scene and stands out among many ordinary sandwiches and barbecue. In execution LoLo's plays it safe, offering a small menu of savory crêpes with some combination of ham, bacon, spinach, and cheese. The salt of the interior ingredients balances out the blank canvas of the crêpe that holds all of the ingredients together. It's satisfying, though the portion size of the meats may leave you wanting more. It's difficult to mess up sweet crêpes, and LoLo's are as indulgent as you'd expect, Nutella and all. Crammed full of ice cream, strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream, the crêpe sometimes serves as little more than an edible cone for holding all of the sugary goodness together, but it's nevertheless a crowd-pleaser. As our food truck collective continues to grow there will be more opportunities for trucks like LoLo's to offer something you can't find in a brick and mortar restaurant. The city is better because of it."
"Best taco truck around! They customize for vegetarian or vegan requests. Always accommodating. Excellent food. Don't miss out!"
"Great ribs n pulled pork! Delicious food and speedy service. Pet friendly staff too! If I've had better can't remember when!"
"For two years I've been searching for this unicorn of a food truck. I'd see it occasionally - parked outside of an auto parts store on Oliver, or in the parking lot of a Walgreens on 37th Street, or maybe one time at Wichita East High (not that I could reasonably explain why a 30-year old man was hanging around a high school) - but by the time I could return with my wallet and an appetite, it was gone. They have no Facebook presence, and the only way to know where to find the truck is to call the owner and ask. I try to avoid making as many phone calls as possible, so the U-Hungry truck remained elusive. And then one month it finally showed up at Food Trucks at the Fountain, so I guess I won?You could tell this is U-Hungry's first time at the event based on the long line, which wasn't so much a function of their popularity as it was the tenacity of the people standing in it. U-Hungry wasn't used to processing multiple customers at a time, so you waited in line, made your order, and continued to wait at the window until your food was given to you. It's extremely inefficient for the three people that were working in there. The food served on U-Hungry is very basic, to the point where I don't think this is aimed at my type of diner. Tacos, hot dogs, a burrito, a wrap, a couple of fried seafood dishes, and a couple of cheesesteaks. I'm glad the wait was so long because it took me a lot of time to pick a couple of things that might represent the truck. I ended up going with a taco and a cheesesteak in the hopes that there might be something there prepared on the spot as the sign in the window claims. The taco is a seasoned ground beef served in a hard supermarket shell topped with lettuce, some tomatoes, and a generous helping of Pace salsa. The meat was seasoned well, but it was otherwise unremarkable. The cheesesteak was better - the slices of meat were tender, though salty. The cooked peppers and onions were a nice addition, though everything was contained within a wheat hoagie roll which wasn't even toasted, so you have this dense bread that in a best case scenario would soak up some of the juices from the meat, but in execution it wasn't great. As I waited in line I watched what the people in front of me were ordering. A lot of them had children, and a lot of them were ordering hot dogs. One guy behind me wanted to get the fried shrimp. I suppose during this food truck festival where every truck is going all out to create something crazy and distinctive, it's nice to see a truck that sticks to the basics, but I don't think I'm the target audience here."
"Luciano's has been a longtime favorite among Wichita's limited selection of Italian restaurants; the drive to Mulvane, on the other hand, not so much. Strada by Luciano's - a small trailer outfitted with a couple of burners - is not easily found, especially on account of their willingness to venture into the city's southwest side and frequent stops in other cities in the region, like Winfield. They're committed to hitting the road from Monday through Friday for lunch; their whereabouts can be determined from their Facebook page.It was a smart decision to take the show on the road, and even smarter to offer an extremely limited menu to ensure the quality stays high. You can choose from two pasta dishes and a salad. Both pastas are repeats from the restaurant, though they're prepared differently and to varying results. The penne in meat sauce shares the exact same sugo di carne from the mothership, and the pasta finished à la minute gives you a rich sauce and an al dente pasta that is plenty worthy of the Luciano's name. The cheesy bowtie pasta, an imitation of the quattro formaggi, was less successfully composed due to the cream-to-cheese ratio on a recent visit being disappointingly skewed toward the former. The bowtie pasta was still cooked very well, so they are consistent in that regard. You would be burying the lede if you skipped over the salad. It ends up being the most unique aspect of the truck thanks to the ample cone of crisp Parmesan that surrounds the dressed greens. There are nits to be picked here, too, mostly because you end up with too much cheese for the small salad. Ordered alongside one of the pasta dishes, however, makes it easy to find a use for the excess remainder."
"I've now been eating at cooper's bbq for over 2 years. For the money, you won't find better bbq and you definitely won't find a miser proprietor. Buddy takes care of his customers and even opened up during more hours while things were shutdown (Covid) to better serve the community. He's always got something new on the menu, has catered for family events to large events. Like I said, you won't find better BBQ I'm NW OK."
"I love this food truck. I was not going to stop because I am Leary about food trucks but the chicken, veggies and rice were great. I have not tried much else from there but I do recommend. Price was good too"
"Mexican food trucks have existed in this city long before The Flying Stove came along, though their locations primarily traveled via word of mouth, and they were all located up near NoMar. Monica's fits in among those rustic food trucks, though she takes a modern-day approach to her business, roaming the city and posting her location on Facebook. The food trucks offers the typical tacos, burritos, and chile rellenos of many other Mexican restaurants, but the draw is her tamales, to the point where it's the only thing stenciled on the truck. Make no mistake, the tamales are the real deal - super moist masa stuffed with copious amounts of tender chicken or pork. There's other restaurants that do better versions of al pastor tacos, and the green chile chicken casserole, while interesting, is best considered a homey offering from the Mexican grandmother you never had. But the tamales are top notch, and worth tracking down wherever Monica decides to set up shop for the day."
"Tacos was really good. I also tried the quesadillas. They was delicious. My favorite food truck in town."
"Great barbecue and great people. The food was phenomenal. So incredibly tasty. I had the ribs (special on Thursday), and they were incredible. Cowboy beans were also very tasty, and the cole slaw was great. Then I was stuffed so I couldn't have eaten anything else, but I sure wanted to try the pulled pork sandwich and maybe a hot link! And the crew there is wonderful. Spent time talking with us, and even came out to make sure the food was all we had hoped for. Just really, really great. They're only open a few days a week, and it is a walk-up place. But they have a couple of picnic benches to eat at.Very highly recommended! A small business doing a BIG job with barbecue. Check them out!"
"I tried the healthy bowl and it was excellent, the service was fast and friendly. I liked the cleanliness of the store and will be back for more bowls."
"Great food- fresh, fast and shareable quantities. The best ragoons I have ever had. Everyone loved the food and orange sauce."
"Don't expect fancy. Don't expect a drink. Don't expect fast. But what you can expect is a damn good burger. I've only had the double cheeseburger and tots but I will say that it was really good. The burger is thick. And I mean real thick. I wish I hadn't been in such a hurry or I would have taken a pic of the whole burger. So you get to see what half a double cheeseburger looks like. I also ordered the small tots and I'm glad I didn't order the large tots. It was huge. I will definitely be going back to try some other stuff tomorrow. I'm this little town with few options, this is a great place. Bring cash because they don't do credit/debit cards."
"Fantastic tacos, awesome chips, fantastic chat! Glad to have them in Mcpherson, KS. And look forward to my next visit!"
"It took several years of me-too copycats to break free of the template set by Flying Stove, but we're finally at a point where Wichita's food truck scene offers the same kind of eclectic mishmash of global cuisine that you might expect to find in a larger city. The only place you're able to find German or Filipino food in this city is by standing in the great outdoors, waiting for your name to be called. You can also find some excellent New American cooking and brick oven pizza, too. They're not all easy to find, however, so your best bet is the monthly seminal gathering of pretty much every truck downtown at the Waterwalk the last Sunday of the month. The beauty of this event is that it's a one-stop shop for pretty much every food truck in Wichita. If there's one you've been dying to try, it's most likely here. The downside is that EVERYONE is here - the event "begins" at 11:30, but even then the lines are substantial. Lord help you if you show up around 1:00 PM, because by then the lines are astronomically long and trucks start to run out of their most popular items. They're set up to quickly deliver food, but not as fast as people can line up - you're dodging strollers and Duck Dynasty-clad hicks just to get the opportunity to wait in line for half an hour. Practically speaking, it would be less of an investment to go to a sit-down restaurant. One of the selling points of food trucks is speed, isn't it?Parking is plentiful, there's free music, and it's a fun time despite the wait. It's not as fun if it rained recently, because all of the grass turns to mud. But as an opportunity to try two or three different food trucks at the same time, there's little comparison. It's nice to see Wichita embrace food truck culture, even if this is the best and worst that particular culture has to offer."
"We decided to randomly go here due to our normal taco truck being closed. They were very friendly and wait was not too long. Food was good! Their salsa verde is good as well. It was nice seeing boys in the parking lot playing soccer as we waited for our food, as too many kids these days are glued to their phones. The avocado on my meal was great as well. We would go back."
"Wow! The food out of this truck is truly amazing. My wife and I had the plane Jane burger and onions rings. The burger was FAR from plane Jane. Even the bun was fresh! Delicious doesn't begin to describe it. The onion rings were hand battered and exceeded my expectations."
"1st time in. Fresh made salsa & warm crispy chips. Shared beef and chicken fajitas with corn shells with my Mr. Our son liked the soft tacos with ground beef tomato and lettuce. Kind courteous service. Excellent food. Definitely will return. Well done. Enjoy!"
"Drove through this small town and saw the Saiko food truck from the road. After being so sick of eating burgers, sandwiches, and wraps from fast food chains. Seeing Saiko asian food was so refreshing and such a nice change during our long road trip cross country. We ordered the Chicken Hibachi, noodles, Hollywood Roll, Roe and Roll, Edamame, Thai Tea. The sauce was so good on everything! And did I mention the portions are huge, especially for the price value. And the customer service was friendly! We were so hungry I forgot to take photos. Who would have thought for a food truck in the middle of Kansas. Haha!"
