Yang N. "Great place! I got the Twisted Seester and was pleasantly surprised, the jalepeno onion hoagie bun was amazing (although it might sound weird, give it a shot!) I thought that the sandwiches were sized well, and can't go wrong with jalepeno kettle chips :)Service was excellent. Went during lunch time, and they had a good amount of customers. The server was really nice and attentive with waters and whatnot.Ambiance is cool, kind of has a bar vibe and the lighting was a little dark where we were sat.I'd come again! I like how creative the menu is."

Hana Y. "The only bar within a reasonable distance of our hotel. I love dive bars, and Finn's was fine for some drinks. As the night heated up, people were coming in droves to play darts, pool and really bad music on the jukebox. Overall, fine place to have drinks. I wish the music had been a bit more consistent and louder, because some of those jukebox selections were crazy. We tried the Bloody Mary, since the website specifically mentions it. To be a tomato juice based Bloody (without a mix behind it), I really appreciated the flavors. Really yum pickle! If you're in this area, I recommend stopping in for a Bloody."

Will S. "I loved this place. Equal parts dive bar and coffee shop, Vagabond Cafe offers the best of both worlds. I stopped by at night not quite knowing what to expect. There's a full bar, tables, and booths. It very much feels like this has long been a bar before a coffee shop. Still, there were baked goods and other light bites available, much like you'd see at any coffee shop. Plus a full menu of all your caffeinated favorites to enjoy alongside books, board games and more.As far as patrons there at midnight on a Wednesday night, the were both those enjoying libations alongside a few sober folks enjoying late night coffee and surfing the internet/working.I fell in love with this place as soon as I took my fantastic house martini from the bar to a booth in the corner to read some Calvin & Hobbes, a book provided at the table. This would be a great spot to work from in the afternoon. You could start off with coffee and end your day with a stiff drink as soon as you're ready to put your laptop away. The world needs more places like the Vagabond Cafe!"

Walked in and immediately thought that i would be discriminated upon, but i was swiftly proven wrong by the extremely friendly bartenders and extremely nice patrons. This is a dive bar where everyone is accepted and everyone is your friend. They have karaoke that could effect your night if you choose to partake, or you don't even notice it if you're not looking to get into the festivities. Always great drink specials."

Scott M. "This is a 3.2% bar, meaning it can't serve liquor and can only serve so-called "non-intoxicating" beer. Which is a bit of a misnomer as you can still get intoxicated, it just takes a lot longer. This is a very old bar, so old that it's heated by a wood-burning stove. In addition to the standard CD jukebox, darts, and pool table, this bar had the only foosball table we saw all day.It took a while for our eyes to adjust, and it was very difficult to find the men's room until that adjustment happened. It's a very tiny restroom, exactly as wide as the toilet itself and just barly enough room to get inside and close the door. The sink is located outside the bathrooms. This is obviously very much a locals hangout. A couple of people said hi but that was the only interaction we had with anyone other than the bartender bringing us our drinks.Incidentally I keep seeing the address listed as "518 Charles" on other web directories, but it's actually "518 Clay"."

CW Scooters Bar

CW Scooters Bar

★★☆☆☆ 2.3 (4)

Jade F. "Scooters is an other-worldly experience for those who aren't from Enid, or who have (graciously) moved away. It's smoked filled and full of hillbillies. Unless you are used to this environment, there is no way you can be prepared for what you might see. There might be people walking around with no shoes on, in wheel chairs, and old men without teeth. This is spectacular for people watching and later story telling. The crowd is "diverse," by Enid, OK standards. This is the only dance floor in the whole town, so everyone comes here. However, it's pretty segregated in the sense that ethnic groups keep to themselves and take turns using the dance floor. The dj will play country, and all the cowboys (white folks) will be out two-stepping. Then they'll play hip-hop and all the brown skinned people (and the wanna-bes) will come out. I've never seen anything like it! I'm an Enid native who left after high school. I come home every once and again to visit family, and will come here on occasion to remind myself how grateful I am to have broadened my horizons. :)P/S We came on a Saturday night, and they served 25 cent beers!"

Julie S. "I loved getting to check out this Wichita staple when I was in town a few weeks ago. The bar staff was helpful and fun, just the right mix for our crew. We had a lot of different tabs open, and a lot of people coming and going, but that's their business and they're very good at juggling all of that. Since I'm pregnant, I didn't get to enjoy any drinkies, but they kept me in soda water and everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks. I also appreciated that they let us bring in our own food, in this case pizza from Picasso's. The space itself is nice and clean, and the booths are very comfy. I also love the PBR mural above the restrooms. All in, just a great little bar."

Megan S. "On my first visit I witnessed a highly amusing fight and was given a coupon for a free drink for the next time I visited. How can it get better than that?! Let me count the ways...1. Sell VODKA.2. Take credit cards.3. Sell VODKA.If you are the type of person that doesn't care about those three things, this place is for you. I sipped fat Coors in an official Frisco Bar koozie for a couple of hours in this old timey bar and had a great time. The bar is a single long and skinny room, with wooden floors and a few booths and tables lining the wall. There are great pictures and antiques lining the walls, and there was an acceptable live band there when we went. It's a little off the beaten path and full of regulars, but they are friendly to new people and don't mind us younger folks livening the place up a bit. If this place started selling liquor I would be a regular."

Kimberly H. "I'm going to admit, I was apprehensive to eat here. I sat in the car with my husband trying to convince him that a 45 minute drive to Wichita really wasn't that bad. He wanted a burger so he said here or Braum's...so here it was. We walked in, and there is a bar room and an eating room. We sat in the dining area, the fireplace on one wall is really aesthetic, otherwise it's a quaint, clean, hole-in-the-wall establishment... motorcycle parking up front (wish we'd brought our bikes).Hubby ordered a beer, it arrived in a frosty cold mug, just like he likes it. Also, as per tradition, fried mushrooms. As for food, he got a cheeseburger with seasoned fries and I got wings(enough to share) in mild sauce and sweet potato fries with sea salt. Our server was also the one preparing the food, he wore gloves, he worked quick, and was friendly. The workers talk to you like you're their neighbor, and everyone seems in a pretty good mood. Now on to the food...I am often jealous of my husband's selection, this is no exception. His burger looked like something your dad makes for Memorial Day, family picnics, and the 4th of July. It is thick and juicy, and I'd like to tell you that it tasted as good, but honestly, my husband didn't share. LOL He says I only needed to ask. I did try the fries, seasoned is DEFINITELY the way to go! YUM!HOWEVER, my wings were not missing a beat, they were delicious, fresh, and the sauce was super good. My sweet potato fries were excellent. The best part, with appetizer, three beers, and both our dinners, we still got out of there for less than $40. Overall, would definitely go back, very pleased with service, food, cleanliness, and cost. I definitely recommend you stop in."

Keith P. "Kirby's is the bomb! Definitely the best dive bar I have ever visited, and I honestly have been to a lot of places. Before I "dive" deeper into my review, let me just stress the words "dive bar"-- in here you will find neither glitz nor glamour; no valet parkers; but a chance to mix and mingle with some of the best citizens of Wichita that the town has to offer, which makes it a signature bar in Wichita. The place conveniently offers parking in a lot at the back, and when Kirby's gets packed, you can just hang out in the outdoor patio.I came here for their Meatfest celebration, and out of all the places I visited in Wichita, I probably enjoyed this place the most. The people were so friendly; the beers were cheap and pouring; and the live music offered at Kirby's made me wish we had more underground bands in my hometown of Miami. The only con I had to say about this place is that their bathroom only had one toilet and was a bit grungy. However, the bathroom honestly represented the classic grunginess of the bar, and I really enjoyed the random stickers all over the place."

The bartender was super helpful at recommending restaurants we could check out, which I thought was awesome. They don't have food here, but you can bring food from nearby places like Pita Pit. I just loved the vibe here - dark, parlor style interior with interesting bartenders. The bloodies had housemade pickles and a homemade mix. Super fun place with a relaxing atmosphere and really good craft cocktails, without feeling like a pretentious cocktail bar. Perfect place!"
