"They always have my order ready when I get there. Absolutely love their cold brew with cheese foam."
"Everything is always fresh and tasty. Great service. Building is great for sitting with friends and talking. Nice beverage selection. Baked goods and cookies are always a favorite."
"I could have sworn, I posted my review of Serendipity Farm and Vine right after we visited, but alas I find it still in my reviews to complete and we have been here two times. The first time, we joined our neighbors for a sunny fall afternoon in November. We love these types of venues with various outdoor seating options, live music, drinks and snacks. This particular afternoon, the music was by Aaron Luccero. The staff was great in helping us learn about their wines, tasting and checking to see if we were doing ok. The place was nearly full this particular afternoon and we appreciated the attention. The concept of this location is fabulous! What a nice country setting. Both the indoors and outdoors provided great backdrops for hanging out and for pictures. I sent the pictures to my mom and she immediately wanted me to reserve one of the 'stalls' for an after Thanksgiving family gathering which I did. We reserved the Monarch 'stall' for our family event. We were larger than that space, so we also had the tall tables outside the stall. We pre-ordered the 'Signature Grazing Board' which is a beautiful display as well as enjoyable taste. As the rest of the family was new to visit Serendipity a couple of red and white wine flights were ordered along with a couple of bottles. For those who didn't drink wine, there were also ciders and beer. We really enjoyed our time. They do not allow dogs as they have their own dog and other live animals that roam the property and in the past there was an altercation. So, keeping the zen environment going, you cannot bring your pets. We own a dog and would have loved to bring him, but also are respectful dog owners and 100% respect their decision. Just enjoy your time with family, friends, co-workers without having to keep an eye on your pet.My rating is a 5+ Star for the overall experience: ambiance, live music, staffing, etc. Everyone's taste palettes are different so it's not fair to rate make the rating for Serendipity Farm and Vine strictly on the wine. We also visit and order wines form the Napa Valley region on a regular basis, so a rating compared to those isn't fair to Serendipity. This being said, we all agreed "Metamorphic Love" was a keeper. We will be back again either to reserve a 'stall' for our cul-de-sac gathering and for another sunny afternoon when those days are back. What a nice treat to have this kind of place to come"
"What a cute little place. It's right near the Harlan Reservoir in Alma. You can't go wrong for coffee, smoothies, and pastries. I was tempted by the chicken salad croissant but decided I had better finish my leftover dinner from last night. I had a lemon lavender scone. Deliciousness! I still had coffee from breakfast and almost gave into a smoothie, but I resisted. If you are going on a vacay to Harlan County Reservoir, this is a can't miss stop."
"There's not a whole lot going on in Town Center Mall in Manhattan, Kansas. But I stopped in here to pick up a wedding gift, and as I was waiting for gift wrapping, I thought it might be nice to get a bite to eat. Alas, Nothing but pretzels and cinnamon rolls for nosh in the food court, but what's this? A lovely little coffee shop selling the usual variety of espresso drinks and teas.A framed newspaper article indicated it's owned by a veteran dedicated to selling fresh-roasted coffee. I like veterans. I like fresh-roasted coffee. Let's give it a try! The owner/cashier/barista was super friendly when I approached to order a double Americano with cream, which set me back about $3.50+ tip... part for the coffee shop course. I asked for cream and, to my delight, she cracked the seal on a glass quart of [presumably] local-dairy cream. The coffee is great, and so is the cream! No complaints here, and very grateful to find it in otherwise nearly desolate mall."
"Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere! Parkside is a fun relaxing place to enjoy a meal, a drink, and a great outdoor place. The menu is simple but great. Cannot go wrong and highly recommend! Live music sometimes too!"
"The staff is knowledgeable of coffee. The Selection of what coffee they have is pretty good. The Shop has mechanize for sale."
"We've been going to Norma's every Sunday since we moved here in Nov 2021. Sandra and Heather are the servers and they are the best! The owner, Jimmy is just the nicest guy... you'll see him out front a lot greeting and chatting with diners. The food is really good, and the cook is so accommodating to any special requests. The Veggie Skillet is my go-to and I love it. My husband asks for crispy bacon, and it always is. Prices are reasonable, and the place is always clean. What more do you need? This is a great small town dinner!"
"This coffee shop is super cute and has really friendly staff. Very welcoming atmosphere. This chocolate chip cookie from Sweetie Pie Bakery is so good and the Colombian coffee was really smooth. Highly recommended if you are looking for a local coffee shop"
"Spent the morning working, drinking coffee and watching the crowd while my son attended a sports event around corner. What a great, warm and welcoming atmosphere. My great grandmother grew up in Pratt. This was my first visit. Cahoots made it a great one."
"Wonderful scones and cinnamon rolls. Make sure to try their frappuccino. It's fantastic!"

Wow! What a great surprise for a lunch stop. One of the best sandwiches in memory. Quality meats and cheese and generous amounts. Excellent house made bread. I watch people coming in to take out baked goods. Some of those cinnamon rolls will go home with us.

FPO and I have been trying to do another winery field trip for a couple months now. We started out at another place about 16 minutes away (its name starts with the letter Bourg). So disappointing we left after less than half an hour and whipped out the trusty Yelp app to find someplace else. Lucky for us we found Serendipity. Located in Stilwell, KS it's a quaint, cute looking little place. Most of the outdoor seating was taken when we arrived, but that's okay. There is plenty of room inside. It's a converted stable and you can reserve the different "rooms" for small parties. Their food is pretty standard vineyard fare. We had their Mediterranean Dip. I tried a flight of their wines, FPO tried the whiskey flight. The service was great, the wines were too. We ended up buying winery swag and even a whole frozen pie that we're going to bake for Thanksgiving. I think next time we go we'll try the ice cream. It was a very nice afternoon at a quiet and friendly venue. Well worth the field trip.

Very cute and inviting environment with lots of yummy drinks to choose from. My iced americano was freshly made and the coffee was very full-bodied and there was no need for sweetener or milk.

"For a small town, such as Lindsborg I'm always a little bit surprised when I remember there is not just one, but two really decent locally owned and operated coffee shops. During our last visit, we stayed at an air bnb that was really close to the Blacksmith - which is the other local coffee spot in town. I'd gotten used to popping over for an am coffee before visiting my in-laws, when I walked over one morning only to find that they are closed on Sunday. What?? After the initial shock wore off I remembered that just down the street there is the White Peacock, and I was overjoyed to find them open and full of happy baristas. The White Peacock has a really charming, comfortable, non pretentious vibe to it. It's bright, filled with local art, and really gives off a feeling of them wanting you to stay and enjoy your coffee. They offer are large variety of flavors and the last time I was here I picked out a cardamom iced coffee - I loved that they were paying homage to their swedish roots and had to try it. It was wonderful. I hate that I'm always such a skeptic when it comes to coffee in small towns, but the White Peacock has honestly proven me wrong so many times over the years it's earned those five stars. Pro tip: If you decide to come on a Sunday plan to wait in line since they are the only coffee shop open. I managed to time it just right but when I walked out the door the line was at least 10 folks deep!"
"Generally a nice, fairly quiet coffeehouse in Aggieville. They have a small meeting room that can be reserved in advance. They also have patio seating."
"Great coffee shop and responsibly priced.Location did have 2 tables and a rail with chairs for seating for about 12-14. My husband and I enjoyed coffee and our morning talking. They also have 2 tables outside for when weather is nice. I was disappointed as there was no dark roast, but treats looked delicious."
"Great, great sandwiches and smoothies... they also have some really nice dessert choices like blueberry banana bread.!"
"We stopped to get some ice cream for the kids after a quick visit to the OZ museum and wow. The ice cream was phenomenal! Highly recommend stopping here if you're ever in the area."
"I absolutely love this place and I believe in supporting local businesses 100 percent before going to the chains. Come in and what you will get is friendly customer service, delicious lattes JUST AS YOU WANT, and no "extra" attitude."
"After walking around downtown Wichita, we had to stop to get a treat. They have some of the best chocolates and cookies. We bought three cookies and shared them. All were soft and so good. For their chocolate, I had the banana foster and the bourbon cordial. The bourbon cordial actually has bourbon inside, so when you bite into it expect liquid. The banana foster truly tasted like banana. They have plenty of other things you could eat or drink. I did notice they have happy hour. They have cocktails. There's plenty of inside seating.the girl that helped us out with super friendly. There's plenty of street parking nearby"
"Great fast & Hot Food! Never an issue with order or customer service. If there is they will make it right."
"So Good!! And such a cute atmosphere. My kiddo loved sitting in the ice cream chair. The different dessert options were well planned out and the ice cream flavors tasted amazing. I would eat there again!"
"Great coffee house. Stop in and give it a try. Friendly Service. Laid back atmosphere."
"Wonderful little coffee house in Osage. The food menu has a lot of variety and everything is made from scratch. No prepackaged reheated items. The chicken salad sandwich was lovely. They added pineapple to the recipe for a pop of sweet. Dining room is clean and spacious. A seating area with fluffy couches, games to play with friends, and a tv make the room cozy. They offer a variety of sugar free coffee flavors as well. Will definitely be back. Customer service was spot on. Clean bathroom."
"this is your old time downtown diner. Been around for a long time, with the small town atmosphere.I've had a few breakfasts here in the past and the other day a steak, ribeye cut, well done. I like a ribeye med at the most, but it was an okay cut of meat. Curly fries instead of baked potato, great coffee."
"Awesome place. I'm a sucker for tea, love the tea milk drinks! I asked the super friendly girl working the counter about their drinks because I had never been before. She explained everything to me! Which is awesome, and I usually always ask staff what they like and go from there. So I ordered the same drink she recommended and picked a boba flavor. They have all sorts of snacks, and I have my eye on the Vietnamese egg-rolls. Because those are the best egg-rolls around! It's a great local shop and I will be returning most definitely. I mean the drinks are awesome, and the staff is well trained! Great experience!"
"We had a craving for chocolate and SweetPops came through with a yummy chocolate shaved ice cream. After looking at the menu we will be back for more."
"What a quaint little place - completely unexpected. Wonderful coffee selection and yummy pastries with a cute gift shop on the side. Can't wait to go back!"
"Needed a little spot to grab a quick bite and strong coffee before my flight out. Reverie turned out to be the perfect choice! Parking was easy, and the inside has plenty of seating and a great vibe to sit back and sip or work away on my laptop.I had an oatmilk latte and a ham and cheese croissant. The latte was great, served in an adorable mug, and the croissant was so flaky I made a total mess (I would consider this to be a good sign!).The service will be at the counter before you are seated. Food comes out quick, and coffees/espresso drinks made to order with lots of love (read: may take more than 1 min)."
"Amazing NDN Tacos w/ green chile and Rez Dog Deluxe. The food was amazing with a number of options to try on the next visit. They also have enchiladas, although I am still trying to determine the link between the Osage and the Mexican cultures. The ambiance was not overstated while paying tribute to the Osage Nation'a people. One wall was adorned with a large picture of the Osage in what appeared to be the early 1900s.The walk-up service line moved rather quickly given the large number of patrons. The employees were very attentive and helpful."
"I'm from Houston with my own Dutch Bros, but haven't tried it yet. Since I'm on vacation, I wanted to give it a shot since it was this or Starbucks (and I already know what I like there), so I did two visits, and the second one gives them 5 stars because since I'm learning what I like and their menu, they were able to fix the drink order that I got because I was so confused with what I ordered, what was said, and what was given, but they remade the drink to look like the photo in the app. I also like that there is an app for their place because now when I get back to Houston, I can order it to pickup!"
"When traveling we like to stop at local eateries. Amanda's does not disappoint. It's in the downtown in a quaint older building with high tin ceilings. The food is honest and good. I had the bierock and onion soup. The meat filling and dough were in perfect proportion. The filling uses a generous amount of caraway seed. Make sure you like that flavor which I do. Hubs had the roast beef panini and chips. He said the beef was a high quality. Service was friendly. We will return next time in town!"
"We went here for breakfast for a quick bite to eat. I ordered a waffle and hot cocoa. The waffle was huge and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My dining companion ordered a huge breakfast of eggs, hash browns, sausage, and I think biscuits and gravy. It was all amazing! The price was also great for the portions! If I ever have to go back to Carthage, I'd definitely go back!"
"Very cute little coffee shop with a warm, friendly atmosphere and kind, helpful staff. Plenty of tables and seating. They have espresso drinks, blended coffees, smoothies, pastries, sandwiches, and more!"
"Must have the sausage roll!! Most amazing breakfast we had on the road this summer. We originally went in for their biscuits and gravy or breakfast burrito but they were out (our fault for coming in at almost close) but he offered us the sausage roll and it was not a disappointment. Note: since weren't from the area we were a little confused about the door to enter, the GPS said we were there but there wasn't a clear sign of "sunshine bakery" the sign says "daylight donuts" that is the right place if you see it!"
"The number of times I tried to get up early to visit Fresh Roast is a story unto itself, but when I finally managed to make it to Clifton Square before 11:30 on a Saturday, I was surprised to find - like apparently all places in this complex - what once used to be a house, with the interior minimally gutted to turn it into a place of business. In this case, the small space had some counters lining it for the preparation and storage of coffee stuff, and the centerpiece of the room, occupying easily a quarter of it, was the large roaster doodad. These were obviously folks serious about coffee, though not so serious on establishing a proper coffeeshop. There's not even enough space to separate the customers from the employees. You enter the place and you're standing next to the cashier, with the barista extraorinare prepping drinks not far behind him. You place your order and then you can sit on one of the few stools in the middle of the room while you watch it being prepared. While the espresso machine certainly looks fancy, they're still tamping on a bathroom scale, and the basic black coffee I ordered was prepared using a pour-over method that's both retro and bleeding-edge trendy at the same time. The end result is a cup that's very rich up front and ends with a smooth finish on the palette. I was drinking this as I was driving around the city looking for someplace for lunch, and by the time I was nearing the end of the cup I was flying on a caffeine high that is unparalleled though legal means.Wichita doesn't have a lot of coffee roasters (the only ones that come to mind are Fresh Roast and the Spice Merchant), so that combined with the incredibly kitschy space make Fresh Roast a sight to behold."
