"Almond Croissant's at Bagatelle are absolutely wonderful. Honestly I have not had a bad pastry here ever. The food is always good and fresh as well."
"Hubby and I stopped in on the way to the airport. Found this place on my trusty Yelp app. We generally like to try Mom and Pop locations for breakfast as we have usually found they provide the best be breakfast. Well Banjos Cafe is another hot spot to add to our list. When you pull up to this lil place it is off the beaten road. But don't let the location fool you. They are serving up some good breakfast food. I had the veggie omelette with hash browns and pancakes, hubby had the Corny with grits and pancakes. We both enjoyed our breakfast. Omelette well made and full of veggies, hash browns cooked just right and not over cooked or burnt, hubby said his grits had a really good taste to them. Definitely will add this place to my collections."
"Radina's was a staple during my college years at K State. I have so many fond memories of visiting the various campus locations...so naturally, when back in Manhattan to visit, this was my first stop! It was game day, so the line was understandably long, and a little slow, but the baristas were so kind despite the rush. When I got to the counter, I ordered an orange chocolate scone and my go-to triple chai latte (dirty). My scone was so good it didn't make it to the obligatory food photo! Super moist, with the perfect blend of chocolate and citrus. I loved it. My drink was pretty good - not amazing, but a solid latte and it supplied the caffeine needed to make it through a long game day. A solid coffee stop for sure, and delicious baked goods!"
"Old-school diner at its bestMelissa couldn't of been sweeter and more helpful Visiting Wichita and plan on going back for breakfast in the morning"
"This sandwich has been my favorite since the late 90's! On special occasions I would surprise my girls with a lunch date when they were little and we would and still do.. order the Great Expectations! Turkey perfection with their special apricot, curry, walnut mayo.. served on the softest focaccia bread you will ever bite into. On this trip back to Wichita I had to savor this most delicious sandwich and the warmth of all the sweet memories rush over me... The care these folks have for their cafe and store is so dear.. a rarity these days."
"Always first rate food and service. The bakery goods are amazing. Take out food for cooking later also great."
"My family and I came here for breakfast this morning and it was delicious! It is Saturday morning so our normal places were impossible to get in to, my brother suggested we try Magnolia Cafe and I was so happy we did. The food was great and our server was very friendly! I'm not sure why they aren't busier but I will be back. Oh, I had the BLT and it was so good!"
"Great place to get your fix on whatever morning juice you require. For a place that gets a lot of traffic they will remember your face and your order! Hard to get these days!"
"Love this place - Laurie is always nice and has good suggestions. It's a hometown feel and food"

The mediterranean food was subpar. The tabbouleh was not my favorite. I'm sure this restaurant is great in other ways but there are many better mediterranean food choices in Wichita that I'd choose over this.

I've ate here a couple times now and both times the food was good. Service was great the first time and the second time wasn't the best. Although the last time my mom and I got there about 1:00 PM and they close at 2:00PM, so by the time we got our meal we felt like we were being rushed to get out of there. Just the vibes we got from our waitress. The first time I ordered pancakes, sausage, and eggs. Everything tasted great. Coffee was nice and hot, which the waitress kept it full too. I was there before the lunch crowd arrived. Although breakfast is served all day long.Second time was my mom and I eating there, which we decided to just split a meal. We ordered an omelet, fruit, and pancakes. All of the food was great except the fruit, but it's out of season. Fruit was only one option to choose from, so other choices are available. Service could be improved. It might be because it was towards closing and she just wanted to call it day? I still thought even splitting a meal that $20.00 was a bit pricy for no more then we got and $18.00 for when I ate by myself was pricy too, but inflation is horrible. The restaurant is clean. I went to the bathroom and the signs hanging up in there gave me a chuckle. I will say the restaurant is spread out with a lot of room for seating. If you are looking for some good down home cooking, this is the place. Be prepared because during lunch this place is extremely busy!

This place is positively amazing. Order the chai. It will not disappoint! The bakery treats are also sure to meet your approval. I can't wait to visit Manhattan again so I can head back for another chai

Riverside Cafe's Beer Battered Pollock SandwichI recently visited Riverside Cafe and ordered the Beer Battered Pollock Fish Sandwich, opting for a hamburger bun instead of the standard hoagie. The cafe had no issue accommodating my request, and the staff were both respectful and attentive, with the added bonus of offering a veterans discount. The sandwich itself was delicious--the fish was perfectly fried, with a generous portion that extended beyond the large, fresh bun. Accompanied by crisp iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, and tangy tartar sauce on the side, this sandwich exceeded my expectations and made for a thoroughly satisfying meal.Anyone looking for a fish sandwich in Wichita, I would ask that you give it a try!

I love sugar cookies. As a child my Aunt Ellen made the best and I have always looked for some similar and I found it here. The cookie was so close to her recipe I almost cried. Such a cute place and my husband loved the strawberry thumbprint cookies. The ladies at the counter were so helpful. 1000 out of 5 stars!!!

This place is a gem. We had Sunday brunch with a large family. We all tried something different and every dish was on point! We started with the fried green tomatoes which had just the right amount of breading and seasoning. Both the crème brûlée French toast and bananas foster were killer. My favorite savory was Cajun style biscuits and gravy.

"The iced matcha with coconut milk is my favorite, along with the almond joy with coconut milk as well.Great coffee/ tea selection with awesome prices!"
"Pretty good place to eat. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly, what more can you ask for. Their cinnamon rolls are to die for!! I had breakfast today and was so excited for it, that I forgot to take photos of itI did take a pic of the roll tho. This was my first time here and I can guarantee I'll definitely be back!"
"We live so close to this location and have finally popped in. Any place that has a gluten, friendly menuand mock tails, as a win in my book. This will be a frequent for us. Our waitress was amazing and great suggestions. The interior of the restaurant was clean. The bathrooms are beautiful."
"Great diner with good portions and homemade pies.Reminds me of going back in time before cellphones and electronics. Wait staff did a great job with service.Meals are prepared when ordered and is not a fast food joint. So sit back and relax and enjoy the surrondings"
"I met family here for lunch while I was in town. It is just a little spot on the west side, in a strip mall. It is a no frills kind of cafe with mismatched plates and friendly service. The adults all ordered sandwiches and my nephew decided on a pancake. The pancake was the size of the plate. He is seven and ate the whole thing, a winning endorsement from that little dude. I had the chicken philly cheesesteak with fries. The fries are made from actual potatoes and have that homemade quality to them. They were good, but I prefer a bit of a crispier exterior. They also have tots, which I would try the next time. The sandwich was tasty. Chicken, peppers, onions, and cheese on a soft hoagie bun. It had really good flavor and the chicken wasn't overcooked. The prices were good and everyone left full and happy."
"If you're driving along 70 in any direction and come upon Topeka, this is a great alternative to stopping at Starbucks. It's also a great pit stop, because there is a gas station within a 1 minute drive of the coffee shop. This is a locally owned coffee shop, along with almost every other store on the street. You won't see a lot of the typical "captains of industry" chains along this downtown business corridor - which I liked. Also, the bathrooms are super clean, which is important for those much needed rest stops on a road trip. The food was good we ordered a chocolate muffin and a croissant breakfast Sandwhich and everything taste just as good as Starbucks if not better. The staff were friendly and attentive. The coolest part of this place was the artwork on the walls - which were also for sale. Super affordable is what caught my eye. I'm assuming these are local artists but definitely some really interesting pieces. Well if you are looking for a pit stop, try to get out of your comfort zone and check out this local spot that checks off all your needs: good fast food, tasty beverages, clean bathrooms, near I 70 and close to a gas station. On a quick note the shop is situated right next to a chocaltier, called Hazel Hill. OMG, chocolate and Carmel covered apples looked delicious. You can get a two-fer in with this stop!! Enjoy!"
"This is the best home-style cooking I have ever had. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. The sausage is amazing. Make sure to ask for the locally made Granny's Mustard. The pie served here is all homemade and beyond belief. I am going to post the menu board in the photo section. The menu is simple but believe me, it is worth traveling across the country to eat here. Can you believe fresh lemonade for $0.75 - I almost fell out of my chair. My favorite pie is a tie between the Sour Cream Raisin and Coconut Cream. Also, when my cousin informed the waitress that she didn't want the salad bar included with the daily special, they offered to take it off the price. My cousin had the Chicken Fried Steak with Gravy. About 12 hours later she was in the emergency room with severe pain and a gall bladder that has to come out. Believe it or not, she is looking forward to having her gall bladder removed so she can return for more of this food!"
"First time here. Wait staff is friendly. Easy to find. Come back. If you need breakfast, this is not it."
"Was at a family reunion in Blackwell and decided to go for a drive to find some good old fashioned breakfast out of town. Ended up in Braman and decided to try this small town cafe. It's nothing fancy, and pretty much the epitome of a small town restaurant, very clean. We were told to sit anywhere (ain't gonna lie, was worried I might sit in someone regular's spot but think we did okay) and asked if we wanted coffee. It was water for him and tea for me, tea was good and fresh. Our waitress then asked if we needed menus - we did since we'd never been here, LOL! Husband got eggs over easy, sausage, and hashbrowns. All of it was really good. I ordered 1/4 order biscuit and gravy - glad I did it was plenty and really good, bacon cooked crispy and delicious, and hashbrowns that were also good. It was a good, old fashioned cafe breakfast, just what we wanted. Prices were reasonable. We'll visit again for sure."
"Love this place! It's the "Cheers Bar" of Osawatemie. Owners Steve and Dixie bend over backwards to do what they can for people. I have seen Steve in the parking lot working on customer's cars!Food is diner food; wholesome and humble. They have the best pancakes I've ever had! Prices are as reasonable as they can keep them in a small town in this economy. Highly recommend getting to know the restaurant and owners. Good eats! Good people!"
"Good chow. Hamburger and fries at lunch are quick. No frills and you dont have to pretend to be someone your not here. Why the hell is the mustard so good not sure but its great. Check out the auction fridays."
"Seriously good food. It's like going to Grandma's house for dinner. If you haven't tried it, you need to. When I want a burger, this is my go to. Same for when they do meatloaf."
