"Once again this place is stellar. I LOVE The Smoke Burger. I can't describe all the wonderful flavors - because I already did that in a review. :P The truffles french fries are more than worth getting and not sharing. Whenever I go to a concert in Lawrence I look forward to going to The Burger Stand."
"I came here on a Wednesday around noon after a work event nearby at Stillwater Medical Center along with my coworkers. I'm from the Edmond/OKC area, but have never been to Stillwater before. I was excited to finally get some of the very popular Eskimo Joe's merch, and snagged a hoodie and sweater. I didn't realize how huge Eskimo Joe's is! This restaurant is connected to a merch/souvenir-type store fully stocked with everything and anything OSU, Eskimo Joe's, and Oklahoma gear. The store staff members were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food and service. The group I came with ordered the regular cheese fries and bacon cheese fries. The fries came with ranch and were delicious. A few coworkers who were with me have been here quite a few times because their children go to college at OSU, so they gave me some recommendations. I ordered the Classic Joe burger. This came with a choice of side, and I got the pasta salad with Italian dressing. The pasta salad was underwhelming, but the burger was very satisfying. I appreciated that the bun didn't fall apart and kept all of the inside together.A couple of my coworkers ordered the chicken sandwiches. The chicken breast pieces were huge, but tough. Overall I had a great experience and would come back again and maybe try some cocktails and more menu items - probably will avoid the chicken sandwiches!"
"I met family in Empora at Do-B's based off of Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint! This is a solid old school diner and literally everything on the menu is good. From milkshakes to po-boys, you will love your meal here. I knocked it down one star for two reasons: it's a small place so seating is at a premium! I didn't notice this from other reviews so if you have a big group, this probably isn't the place for you, or you may want to consider carry out. Also, the restrooms are on the exterior of the building. Granted, they are clean, but with a toddler and dodging freezing rain the day we visited, it was a massive drag to have to ask for a key and then trudge outside, dodging cold rain to use the restroom. To make matters worse someone on the stairwell above us poured a TON of dirty water right in front of where you wait and we nearly got drenched. So, that literally put a damper on the experience (pun intended!). At any rate, I'd 100% return the food is incredible, the people nice, and the ambiance is clean and nostalgic."
"Love this place! Amazing soda and burger options, but the fries are a star for many. This has a bit of a small diner feel, all while serving up some unique takes on the classics!"
"I was in town doing some training and needed a place for lunch. This is probably the best little surprise I didn't know I needed. The burgers were so juicy, and the soup warmed my soul. It felt like a mom-and-pop place where everyone was super friendly, And Glad you came. They even had free dessert when I showed up. The menu is huge! I'll add this to a must-stop place whenever I visit this town!"
"Nice spot with a great view of the golf course. Service and food were both above average. Double pork chop was very tender and flavorful. My wife declared the BLT to be the best she's ever had. Definitely recommend."
"It's located just east of the Kansas State Fair Grounds. Bogey's is a great place, with very good QSR food... which is a good value, for the price! They have at least 100 different types of shakes. The small shake is rather large, while the large is more than enough for two people! I saw later, you could request it thick or thin, however the cashier never asked how we would like ours... it came out thick and delicious. Though it's a burger & shake place, they also have a salad bar!Burger was hot & good with grilled onions, which added a nice flavor... also reasonably priced. They have a good selection of custom burgers which you can easily make a double or triple. The Onion rings (thick not thin) were served hot, very good and a large portion for the price. We loved that the french fries were curly, but seemed to be only average in taste. Overall, I was very pleased with our order and feel the 4.5 stars which is the average is reasonable. If you haven't been here, it's a pleasant change from the Chain burger stores and a must try... if only for the shakes! We will be back, every time we are in Hutch!"
"Food, service, and the atmosphere is outstanding at Sickies. It is our favorite place eat, drink and hangout! Caryn"
"Always so delicious and the portions are large. Grateful for a yummy burger place in our small town."
"THOSE WINGS!Wing Wednesday is main reason I go. They are delicious and you can't beat the price! My favorite sauce is the KBBQ. It's a delicious sticky sweet garlicky sauce. The wing's are pretty big and I always have some to take home for another yummy meal. The position of the tables are a bit strange, but it's because they bought out the building next door, tore down the wall, and the booths remained in their original spot. No big deal since it allows for more seating and now has a stage for live music.Food comes out quick and always tastes consistent. Service is attentive and efficient which is so nice. The parking lot does get busy, especially during meal times since it's in a shopping center with shared tenants.I'm happy they revamped the menu from when they first opened to added chips or a small size fry to any burger. Lots of different options to choose from. See you at the next wing Wednesday!"
"Had the spud and brisket and loved every bite. Salad was fresh and delicious. Been traveling a lot and this food was best I had in months,"

I've been coming to the Burger Stand since they opened way back in the day and I was still a student at KU. I have to say that as far as consistency goes, they are one of those places that has so far managed to really maintain their commitment to quality and remain unchanged in the best ways possible for over a decade. The truffle fries are still amongst the best french fries really within driving distance of Kansas City, the dipping sauces alone would bring me back, but the fries are great solo as well. The burgers are insanely good. Every single one I've had has hit the spot. AND, they still have a great tap list, and casual ambiance that makes this place sing. Ever since covid they opened up a patio in the front which is where we sat on our most recent visit, and it was honestly great, especially for kids as it was a bit less loud, and if a kid dropped a fry on the ground there was a fat and happy squirrel nearby ready to pick it up. Overall, I'm so grateful this place is still as wonderful as it was when I was in my twenties, and I'm sure we'll be back.

Had a chance to sit at the counter inside and chat with the team during a slower weekday lunch service. The burgers are a tiny bit drier than what you might be used to with White Castle but right on flavor-wise. If you're not sure, order 4 first. 6 was really filling for me.

This was my very first time to eat at an Eskimo Joes. I am a long time wearer of their tee shirts. In my 20s and 30s, I had relatives going to OSU. Each Christmas, I would get a new E J tee shirt. About the time one sister in law graduated, another would start. After years of advising for them by wearing their T shirts, I finally had lunch at Eskimo Joe's. I learned a lot today. All these years, I have been laboring with the false idea that Eskimo Joes is a pizza place. No pizza. It's more of a burger place. Move it in day is probably not the best day to evaluate the restaurant. We were there to help our grandson get moved in to his dorm. The university was packed with students and their parents, grandchildren, and grandparents helping them get moved in to their dorm. We knew wherever we had lunch, there would be a long wait. At least we got to spend our wait time in their merchandise room. It gave us something to do. Today was my first time to get cheese fries. It's never sounded good to me someone else ordered them and I discovered fries make a better base for nachos than chips. My husband and grandson got classic burgers, my daughter got a blackened chicken dinner, and my son in law and I got Little Joe burgers. I had decided that the classic burger is a better deal because it comes with fries and lettuce and tomatoes. I like small burgers but I have to have lettuce and tomatoes. My Little Joe burger had no lettuce and tomato ... just meat and a bun. My son in law explained that he gets the Little Joe because it has onions cooked into the meat. I decided he was right. The meat in a little Joe does taste much better. I had a bite of my husband's classic and the onion cooked with the meat is much better. My grandson took his lettuce and tomato off his classic because he doesn't like lettuce and tomato on his burgers. He gave it to me, so I was happy. The blackened chicken was too salty and not spicy enough. The French fries were greasy and not good. We ate them, anyway. It might be that they are much better when the restaurant is not as busy. I will give them another try. We will be going to Stillwater frequently to see take our grandson to lunch. I will post an update on the fries.

A must stop destination when in the area! The Creole Gouda burger is phenomenal and the cheese curds are out of this world! Always great service, consistently delicious food, and a fun little diner-ish feel. Definitely worth the detour off the interstate.

Onion rings were awesome. The burger was tasty. I've had the shakes on a previous trip and it was by far the best shake I've ever had.

"REAL beef! Patties made & grilled to order. Best strawberry limeade (free refils) ever! FRESH fries. Nostalgic 1950's retro vibe to this place. Swivel stool seating inside or drive-up car service. Little pricey for some, but u get what u pay for. Support local-owned businesses like this one whenever I can. Located a few blocks off downtown area of Main St."
"Honestly for me they have the best burgers in town. I van live without everything else if they keep the burgers and never change them."
"Wanted to try this place for so long, finally got here. Worth the wait. Staff is great. We had read the menu on here (yelp) before going in so we already knew what we were going to have. The burger was really good, it was my husband's but I tried it. I told him that it was probably the best I've had in Joplin. If I could change anything it would probably be to go with a thicker burger instead of 2 thin ones but that just a personal preference. I had the chicken tenders and they were great. Cooked perfectly. Not everybody can do it but this place nails it. I loved the spicy ranch dip also very much enjoyed the garlic parmesan. The frys rock but I was so full I didn't get to eat many and I can not wait to go back and try the onion strings. I recommend this place, go by if get a chance. They are worth a stop"
"First time trying a burger at Bill's. First impression of the decor was a cross between a roadhouse and farm shed which is awesome! Was not expecting to see steaks and chicken sandwiches on the menu as I thought it was burgers only so that was a nice surprise. Ordered the double cheese burger medium. Place was not busy so food came out quick. I enjoyed putting my burger together since the veggies were in a separate baggie which kept them cool and crisp. The burger was more medium well but tasted absolutely delicious! The amount of char on the burgers was perfect and gave the burgers that backyard bbq taste. Fries were nice and crispy. I was very impressed and must say it's the tastiest burger I have had in Wichita so far. Reasonably priced too. Can't wait to be back to try their steak and chicken sandwich."
"When in Kansas, this is the place to be specially on Tuesday nights. A great crowd, a really fun karaoke DJ, good food and great drinks!"
"If you want a classic burger with amazing quality and a good bang for your buck then go here!"
"What a treat passing through looking at colleges for our son! Everyone that worked here were incredibly kind and efficient. I've never had such a fresh burger in my life. Everything was delicious. Our family of 5 each loved our meals. The fries and onion rings were yummy. Shakes were a hit with the kids. Price was reasonable. Only complaint was the inside dining area was very tight but you just have to prepare that you might not have a seat. 5/5 for service and food though!"
"This vintage spot is perched by itself on a hill with nothing surrounding it so I was hopeful that it was good. We tried the mozzarella sticks and the burger and fries. I was too full to try anything else, but was interested in the milkshakes. They include the tax in their prices which I really like. The Texasburger combo was $10. So double burger that was a good size, fries, and a drink which was a great price. Worth the money and a great taste. Not a lot added, just a great burger. The mozzarella sticks were yummy, but I probably wouldn't get again unless I was in a group. The combo itself was more than enough. Will definitely eat here again when I come back to visit."
"This is our go to place for good burgers! Friendly staff, the order is always correct, and the food is always hot and good!"
"Food and fro-yo was very very good!! The service was quick. The burger and fries I got was very fresh & affordable! Cheaper than your typical fast food and better."
"We are in town for a soccer tournament and this was a fun place to spend the evening. Staff is super friendly and there are so many game options. The space is just a small dive bar, our group of 20 was the max I would recommend. Food is just ok, but you're not going for the food!"
"Well apparently today is their last day :( From out of town, wanted a light snack ordered a couple of Street Corn. Very reasonably priced but more important they were delicious with a bit spice. Other entrees looks good (big meaty wings, burger with what looked like a home made, seeded bun). I think Hays is going to miss this place!"
"Great sports bar/tavern. Good service. Good food. Worth a stop as we were traveling up the highway."
"Love this place - Laurie is always nice and has good suggestions. It's a hometown feel and food"
"Got some food there today. The service was friendly. The burgers were great and the tatter tots were perfectly cooked. I'll definitely go back."
"The burgers are really good, esp if you're an onion lover. & they do give a LOT of fries....so I promise you, you don't need your own lol save yourself a few bucks and share with someone. My only complaint is that the staff comes off kind of cold. Drive thru feels rushed. Felt pressured to just order something even though I really needed a min to read the menu. Probably would've spent more money if I didn't feel pressured to order quickly. But hey it is what it is not my problem"
"Great hamburgers and service was good. Fun place and will go back. I highly recommend this place."
"My brother and his wife recommended Calvin's as a place my elderly parents like the food. We enjoyed it so much we went 3 times in a week"
"I was finally able to try Kyuramen recently and the food was really good!We started off with Takoyaki. It was great! It came out pipping hot and had big pieces of tender octopus. It was definitely one of the better takoyaki's in Wichita. I ordered the #6 Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It was a bit more spicy than anticipated but I really enjoyed it. It had 3 nice pieces of chashu pork, the egg was cooked perfectly, and broth was so tasty. There were plenty of noodles too. By the looks of the spicy broths the heat is coming from a chili oil. A complaint that I have was, right as I sat down I couldn't really hear my friend during our conversation because the thin bamboo divider between the tables did absolutely nothing to block out sound. Maybe sitting in a honeycomb would have been better.Overall the atmosphere is truly unique, fun, and picturesque. I feel price point is fair given the time the broth needs to get that good depth of flavor and the quality of the ingredients. There is a button on the side where I assume you ring for service. Which I should have done because we never got a refill of water and I left thirsty. I just thought they would still come by for refills, because otherwise the server never mentioned the button for all requests. There's a lot of different dishes to try that other Wichita places don't offer. I'll definitely be back to try the other menu items."
"I had the a baked potato with pulled pork (per fellow Yelper Andrew B.'s sage advice) and really enjoyed it.Good flavorLarge portion(Even had to cart my leftovers back to Oklahoma City!)Friendly serviceDecent menu pricesI'll likely return next time I'm up in Kingfisher."
"Came in for wings and some drinks with a friend after the gym. I'd say the buffalo sauce was pretty good but it didn't wow me. Probably Frank's so can't complain there. Wish the wings were a bit crispier and hotter. The wings came out lukewarm. The bluecheese added a cooling and creamy component to the flavor profile.Cheers!"
"In a small town like Nevada you don't have too many options, but this one is probably the best. The staff was personable and helped to guide you through the menu. Typical bar style Americana food options with the addition of a few pastas. We sat at the bar and got great service, with the small town pub type experience. Country music played for music and the beer was cold. What else could you really need! Their seasoned Susie q's were awesome and the rest of the food was pretty good too. I didn't even manage to get any pictures because I was so caught up in the moment."
"Southeast Carryout is a great spot to snag a burger and fries. Excellent customer service. Very affordable food. A great spot for a quick bite. Try the chili cheese fries on an extra hungry day you won't be disappointed."
