Jayla B. "Awesome place. I'm a sucker for tea, love the tea milk drinks! I asked the super friendly girl working the counter about their drinks because I had never been before. She explained everything to me! Which is awesome, and I usually always ask staff what they like and go from there. So I ordered the same drink she recommended and picked a boba flavor. They have all sorts of snacks, and I have my eye on the Vietnamese egg-rolls. Because those are the best egg-rolls around! It's a great local shop and I will be returning most definitely. I mean the drinks are awesome, and the staff is well trained! Great experience!"

Tay S. "This is in the former Planet Sub building so the setup is pretty much the same. We stopped by after reading about this online to try the acai bowls. We were greeted promptly by the friendly staff & were given a rundown of the menu. We went with the Dragon bowl & the regular acai bowl. After a few minutes our order was brought to the table. These are not your average acai bowls. They have chunks of acai as well as the other items such as dragon fruit, shredded coconut, seasonal fruit, ricotta (I know, I was skeptical but it works really well) & other yummies. This was a wonderful treat & the portion is pretty large so you can share it with no problems. Fair warning, the acai is still frozen so watch for the brain freeze. We'll be back to try other things in the future. This is definitely worth a visit!"

Christine C. "I've been wanting to try this place. I've read many really good reviews! So, on my day off today, after waking up from a nap, I was hungry! I first thought about getting a burger from one of our local burger places. Then I remembered Kimlan! I looked them up to find their hours and had only 30 minutes to get there! I'm about 20 minutes away. So I flew out the door! Fortunately I made it on time!I was torn between the Banh Mi Thit Nuong: thinly sliced pork marinated in lemongrass-soy dressing, no mayo. Or the Banh Mi Xa Xiu: sliced Chinese bbq pork. Both come with picked carrots, jalapeno, cilantro, cucumber and mayo (on the Banh Mi Xa Xiu). They were out of the Banh Mi Thit Nuong so that settled my decision! It was really, really delicious!!! Absolutely loved it. I bought 2 so I'd have one for work lunch tomorrow. Glad I did. The bread is light, airy and crunchy. My one issue, which was the reason for just 4 stars, was that IMO, it could have used more meat. I thought it was kind of sparse. Although at just $3.50 for a very decently sized sandwich, it was alright. I ate it at home and added some chicken breast I had. I also ordered some Crispy Egg Rolls ($2.00 for 3) which I would refer to as Spring Rolls (the smaller, thin wrapped rolls), with the fish sauce dipping sauce. They were also good. Typical Spring Rolls. So, all in all, I was very pleased with my meal! I will definitely go back! I want to try the one that they were out of tonight. Also have to try their Bun Thit Nuong Cha Goo: grilled pork & egg roll vermicelli ($6.75). That is one of my favorites! Their prices are incredibly reasonable!"

TDR r. "So I initially got this place confused with Kim's noodle. Each time I've eaten here it's been thru delivery and at my daughter's home. However im impressed overall with the food. I think the presentation is wonderful. They pay attention to detail even tho it was delivery and in to go containers. Often a resident will pack the food to go, but you miss some of the garnish or presentation of the plate.. they use so many fresh ingredients, herbs, and spices and seasonings. I'll be back- I'd like to try more items. The arrives hot, with utensils and napkins, and taste delicious. A piece of advice to those that don't like the service or the order that the food is brought out. Try ordering to go- and base the review on just the food- you might have a better experience. Anyways this place is worth a try!"

Marya H. "Cute little tea place! We are from CA so finding good tea is something I had to do after moving. I have been to a couple in Wichita and this fruit tea is by far my favorite. We didn't have any puff waffles but they looked and smelled amazing! Cool atmosphere and they even have a cart with games! It looks low in the pic because a lot of people were using them so there is more! It was really nice to stop in and will be returning."

Ben C. "Good choices of teas and slushies. We prefer the frozen smoothies with original Boba, and this place makes their Boba perfectly. Just the right texture and sweetness without being bland or too hard or gummy. They have a great variety of flavors too. But the highlight was the shave ice cream. I wasn't sure what to expect but got the strawberry mango shave ice cream, and oh what a treat! They take frozen ice cream and shave it like a snow cone...this takes a great flavored ice cream and then makes it airy which somehow made it feel creamier and light. If you go here for Boba, don't skip the shave ice cream. They even offer durian flavor...but I'll save that for another day."

The staff was patient (my husband always has a hard time picking something he thinks he will like at places like this) and friendly. My husband was very pleased with his Pink Butterfly. My Coconut Milk Tea with boba and less sugar was perfect."

Janelle M. "I absolutely love this place, every time we're in Wichita we end up coming here for Boba! This time I got a Kiwi Basil and it's soooo refreshing and sweet! I was about to get a second but I ended up finishing another Taro! Sometimes they do get packed because it's that amazing so if your able to just order on the App. You'll arrive it'll be ready and if there's spaces to chill and drink it there that's great but if not at least your not having to wait standing up. Depending on the time of the wait can be a bit but it's sooo worth it!"

My-Trinh N. "Atmosphere: Lots of space and very clean. Seemed very welcoming as you walk through their doors. Service: Friendly staff. Our server was attentive and regularly stopped by to refill our water glasses. A bit interesting for a pho place, but they also provide complimentary tortilla chips and queso blanco. Can't complain! Food: I wanted to try their stone bowl pho but decided not to because 1) I'm not a fan of meatballs and tendon and 2) It was over 100 degrees Fahrenheit that day outside. I ended up ordering their rare steak pho (Phở Tái) and grilled pork spring rolls. The rolls were mediocre at best. However, I really enjoyed the dipping sauce. One of the best I've had. My bowl of pho was also okay. The beef was rather chewy. I think it's just the cut selection. The broth was so so. Not the best, but also not the worst. Also, to all you sriracha snobs out there, there really isn't much of a difference between the Huy Fong brand and other brands (e.g. Kroger, Tabasco sriracha, etc). I appreciate this restaurant for substituting the original brand with something else since there's a shortage in the market. A for effort. Will I return? Probably if I'm in the area. I don't know if I'll go out of my way since I don't live on that side of town and it's very rare that I ever crave pho. They're new, and they're improving. I recommend giving them a try."

Kim W. "I was finally able to try Kyuramen recently and the food was really good!We started off with Takoyaki. It was great! It came out pipping hot and had big pieces of tender octopus. It was definitely one of the better takoyaki's in Wichita. I ordered the #6 Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It was a bit more spicy than anticipated but I really enjoyed it. It had 3 nice pieces of chashu pork, the egg was cooked perfectly, and broth was so tasty. There were plenty of noodles too. By the looks of the spicy broths the heat is coming from a chili oil. A complaint that I have was, right as I sat down I couldn't really hear my friend during our conversation because the thin bamboo divider between the tables did absolutely nothing to block out sound. Maybe sitting in a honeycomb would have been better.Overall the atmosphere is truly unique, fun, and picturesque. I feel price point is fair given the time the broth needs to get that good depth of flavor and the quality of the ingredients. There is a button on the side where I assume you ring for service. Which I should have done because we never got a refill of water and I left thirsty. I just thought they would still come by for refills, because otherwise the server never mentioned the button for all requests. There's a lot of different dishes to try that other Wichita places don't offer. I'll definitely be back to try the other menu items."
