"First experience at Gerardo's will definitely get me back in. Food was made fast and fresh. I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito for a little over $4-- great price! The tortillas they use are delicious! There was a good ratio of bacon to egg to potatoes wrapped warmly inside. My friend got the chorizo breakfast platter and it was great as well; So much food for under $5! They served us up some fresh chips and salsa and I can happily say these were the best tortilla chips I've had in a very long time! We also really enjoyed their red and green sauces that were served with our food, but the red was the table favorite. They were open today at 8am for breakfast and stay open until 11pm. Glad to have a close by spot for my breakfast burrito addiction. Get ya some!!"
"Best food in Enid!!! Hands down! I've eaten at many mom and pop places and this place takes the cake!! Must try!"

"I'm still thinking about the cup of fruit I was served with my breakfast. It was one of those things that didn't look like much -- just a small bowl of red grapes, blueberries, pineapple, green apple and strawberries. But the fruit was cut up precisely, and it was tossed in a citrus dressing with poppy seeds sprinkled on top. It was refreshing and nourishing, and I highly recommend getting fruit if your breakfast offers it as a side. And if it doesn't, it's worth it to get a side of fruit!I was so impressed with my fruit that I almost completely ignored the avocado toast that was my main breakfast dish. The avocado toast is served on a hearty wheat bread, toasted, with smashed fresh avocado and halved grape tomatoes, and crushed red pepper sprinkled on top. You get two eggs on the side, and I got over-medium eggs. The eggs and avocado toast and fruit was like a vitamin shot straight into my bloodstream, and I left the table feeling satisfied and deeply nourished. My healthy breakfast was followed by a house-made lemon hand pie (Pop'd Heart), which had lemon curd inside and sprinkles on top. It was delicious and perfect for people who love the crust part of a pie (like me). I visited HomeGrown with a group, so we ordered some lemon ricotta pancakes for the table. They were good, but you couldn't really taste the lemon. We needed more lemon! Apparently, the thing to order here is the salsa verde pork & egg. It's a popular dish, and judging by what it looks like, it looks like it would taste amazing. The coffee at HomeGrown is great. They serve it to you in big carafes that are placed on the table, so you serve yourself. I drink black coffee, and the coffee by itself, with nothing to alter it, was fantastic."
"I came upon this place from researching the area prior to my trip. Although I don't really watch morning shows, my interest was piqued when I noticed Sommerset won "Best Pie in America" on Good Morning America. Even Diane Sawyer wanted a pie here for her yacht on Christmas. Getting here from Topeka was somewhat uneventful. You drive through cow pastures and fields. There isn't very much around on the way here. However, I did see various animals (dead or alive) on the road, such as deer, a large rodent-like creature, and a snake. The immediate vicinity reveals that there's not much going on here, save for this institution. The coconut cream pie was what put this spot on the map. I wish I had room for other ones that I might've been interested in, such as the apple crumb pie. However, the coconut cream pie isn't all hype. The crust, while not quite as flavorful as fully buttered crusts, was quite flaky. The two layers of the pie were fantastic. The custard underneath had the right amount of sweetness and it was smooth throughout. The meringue was frothy and smooth. There was enough toasted coconut on top. Service was friendly and cordial. If you find yourself in Topeka, Sommerset is worth a side-trip."
"Our first time to eat here. We loved it and will definitely be back! Food was fresh, prepared well and the way we asked and was served promptly. We had their Sunday brunch. Service was friendly and engaging. The restaurant was clean and welcoming with adequate staffing."
"Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere! Parkside is a fun relaxing place to enjoy a meal, a drink, and a great outdoor place. The menu is simple but great. Cannot go wrong and highly recommend! Live music sometimes too!"
"Excellent.Super small and super friendly.Burger and onion rings were scrumpt.Friendly wait staff...very personable and enjoyable to chat with.If you're ever around Jetmore, make Judy's one of your places to stop."
"The Ralston Corner Café, the heartbeat of Ralston. The dilapidated remnants of buildings in Ralston remind me of a glacier, crumbling, melting, receding into oblivion. I bet if you pulled up a lawn chair on the sidewalk and patiently waited and watched, eventually you would see a brick or two crumble from an old building facade and roll into the street. Buildings are losing the battle against time. Decaying roofs succumb to the endless pull of gravity and disappear behind the brick walls left standing. There are a couple of businesses trying to salvage what remains standing, and slow the town's decline. A task that is much smaller in scale than stopping global warming, but equally as challenging, possibly futile. The owners of Ralston Corner Café are doing their part. Breakfast starts early for these working folks. Doors open at 6 am. The lights in the café's kitchen have likely been on for a while though. When the doors open, locals fill the chairs and their bellies with a hearty country breakfast and then off to work. A few stragglers wander in later, to sip coffee and repeat the same stories that they told anyone who would listen last week. Not much new happens in this small town. Every day the lunch specials are posted early in the morning, tempting you back for lunch. The café closes at 2pm, so don't be late.Breakfast all day except for Friday. On Catfish Friday, 10am is the last call for breakfast. We missed the 10am deadline, so Burger Brunch for us. They were damn good burgers and fresh cut fries. I didn't miss the eggs and bacon at all. The discovery in Ralston, an excellent burger dive, (and café) in the beautiful ranch land and oil patch country of Pawnee County. This little café is a destination drive, perfect for bikers, car clubs, or folks that just enjoy a nice drive and a good meal. This is a family run business. The friendly energetic owner came by our table to greet us and talk a little about their café. The décor is small town rural, comfortable, cozy. The food is excellent. Oh, and there is a salad bar. At the end of the salad bar today was a tray of chocolate cake, brownies and strawberry cake. One of the daughters circulated this irresistible tray of goodies, offering anyone their choice. My wife couldn't pass up the chocolate brownie. Take a spin to Ralston. It is worth the trip. This is where the locals eat!"
"Really great food. Lobby gets a little bit crowded but it well worth the wait. I would recommend it to anyone."
"There is much near Junction City, a small town near the geographical center of the Unites States, with a rich military past and right in between the Santa Fe and the Oregon Trail. Living in JC seems ok but without the entertainments of a medium city, there is not a magnificent children's museum or an aquarium, nothing significant to really visit, a downtown with closed shops like many kansas small towns, reminding us of better times. However, no far from JC few miles from Grand View Plaza, this is a place to visit. A truly modern American experience.Stacey's Restaurant offers a simple good breakfast menu, and lunch. You will not be disappointed by ordering the Hungry Man's Breakfast. The service is great and very polite, you will feel welcome among cowboy, trucker hats, old military pictures from Fort Riley, and John Deer paraphernalia. The place is quite big, it may hold about 100 people. It is visited mostly by local and soldier stationed in Fort Riley."
"Spent the morning working, drinking coffee and watching the crowd while my son attended a sports event around corner. What a great, warm and welcoming atmosphere. My great grandmother grew up in Pratt. This was my first visit. Cahoots made it a great one."
"Had the spud and brisket and loved every bite. Salad was fresh and delicious. Been traveling a lot and this food was best I had in months,"

For an amazing breakfast look no further. Large amounts of down home comfort food. Not a health food restaurant to be sure, but this breakfast will stick to your ribs and is delicious!

Be sure to get on the waitlist in advance of arriving because it can get pretty packed. The fresh juices they have are delicious -- I got an orange juice and my partner got the carrot based juice. We split the rotating pop tart flavor and it was great. The icing was very sweet but the pastry itself and the filling were very flavorful and not overly sweet. For our actual meals, we got their french toast (one cinnamon and one pistachio). The pistachio was almost like a cake flavor and was my favorite out of the two.

Used to be a favorite but my last two visits reflect a slide in quality and service. The latest visit, we waited 40 minutes for a hamburger which was delivered without any lettuce, tomato, pickle or onions, even though we were told to expect such. Additionally, there were no French fries available that day, nor was there any pie (although I understand the reason for that). Here's hoping things get back to normal soon.

Was in town for work and looking for a nice dinner. Had never been here before, looked like a nice high end steak house so we gave it a try. We were seated quickly. Inside is nice, really elegant, like a steak house should be. Dark inside with wine bottles all around. Our waiter was Tanner. He was awesome. Friendly, quick and very helpful with suggestions I ordered a smoked old fashioned while I reviewed the menuI started with the Hamachi Crudo. Not a usual steak house option but looked good on the menu pic. About the menu- you get an iPad, and it has the menu and allows you to click on the dishes for a closer look and description. Pretty cool. The dish was delicious. Perfect balance of flavors between the fish and spices. Great start! For my entree I chose the 12 oz KC Strip. It was a wonderful piece of meat. Very tender and cooked perfectly. I used to order medium rare, but seemed I got way undercooked meat all the time, so started ordering medium and it was slightly better, sometimes medium rare, sometimes medium and occasionally medium well. This place nailed it. Ordered med rare and got med rare. Great job by the kitchen. Seems weird to have to say that but unfortunately most places don't get it rightFor my sides, I had the Mashed potato and the Elote street corn. Both were great. Corn was amazing I added 2 Scallops to my steak and they were seared perfectly and very sweet. I was unsure about the wines, so I ordered one and Tanner said it was good but he had a similar one he thought was better. Brought me samples of both, and by golly he was right! So I ordered his recommendation and blissfully enjoyed my meal. Everything here was exceptional. Wish it was closer to where I liveRed wine

Food was good. Burrito was especially big. Chef's Salad was iceberg lettuce with ham and hard boiled eggs, but I liked it. Lady who waited on us was very nice. The walls were interesting with lots of things to look at. It was a good stop between Oklahoma City and Dallas.

"Less than a mile off the highway this diner is worth the trouble of navigating the roundabouts. We had a deluxe omelet and a western omelet. Both were delicious. The fruit compote was fruit cocktail and was surprisingly good. The restroom was clean and spacious. Service was friendly. Recommend to travelers."
"Such a great suggestion from our hotel in Hutchinson. Was the small hometown not chain restaurant that I was looking for. Had the chicken and was so moist and the breading was very light."
"Great home style food, good portions and a fabulous price. Family owned and run. Best breakfast and lunch in town."
"Can Fat People Eat Here? Yes5: yes3: maybe1: noGod blessed America with diners. We may be divided but diners bring all things together. From the skinny to big, to left to right, diners are a true beauty. So yes, fat people can eat here."
"Great diner with good portions and homemade pies.Reminds me of going back in time before cellphones and electronics. Wait staff did a great job with service.Meals are prepared when ordered and is not a fast food joint. So sit back and relax and enjoy the surrondings"

"Stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was super fast. Hamburgers were absolutely excellent! This place is definitely a hidden gem in Fairbury! Highly recommend!!"
"My friend and I stopped here on our way back to Michigan. This place is really good! And cheap. I loved it. We both ate for about $14. Amazing. We got a big salad, guacamole, beans, rice, and chips and salsa. The staff was very nice, as well. If I'm ever in Kansas again, you can be sure I'll stop here."
"Generally a nice, fairly quiet coffeehouse in Aggieville. They have a small meeting room that can be reserved in advance. They also have patio seating."
"Within moments of arriving I knew we had made the right decision. The second we were seated the server had hot coffee ready to pour and drink orders working. I had the strawberry pancakes. They made me feel like a kid again. SO tasty and fluffy. My family had eggs and biscuits and gravy, they all raved about their meals. If you are passing through Liberal, KS stop here. I know we will be back."
"What a great atmosphere. The wine selection is great, snacks and small plates looks divine. We just stopped in for a glass on our journey. Definitely want to come back"
"Joni was absolutely amazing! Amazing chicken fried steak, and the milkshake with chocolate shavings is to die for. Come here and request Joni if you want prompt, hospitable, and accommodating service! If I lived in the area, this would be my go to for good old fashion diner food."
"The Food here is crafted by a brilliant owner!! The service always goes above and beyond what's required and the space and ambiance is one in a million!! 5 stars for Hapisoul!!!"
"We had a very nice Sunday lunch here. The food was good, service was excellent, the place is clean and neat. My lady had a fantastic chicken fajita quesadilla. I had an enchilada and chile relleno. They have a huge menu and I can't wait to go back to explore some of their specialty dishes. A good stop!"
"Great fast & Hot Food! Never an issue with order or customer service. If there is they will make it right."
"The Prairie Hill Cafe is a super clean and quaint little cafe on Main Street. We had breakfast there this morning, homemade bread/toast, perfectly done eggs to order and tasty sausage and crisp bacon. Service was friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were clean!"
"Fabulous brunch with lots of variety! The adult drinks really made the morning. Appreciate being able to get on the waitlist EARLY - highly recommend doing that too as the wait was up to 90 minutes at one point in the morning. Restaurant was a little chilly and loud due to all the people inside. We always come here when we visit Wichita."
"Great place to get your fix on whatever morning juice you require. For a place that gets a lot of traffic they will remember your face and your order! Hard to get these days!"
"We Loved this little spot near Canton Lake, we grabbed a quick bite when we visited for the 1st time and packed it up picnic style. We tried the cheeseburgers, French fries and Texas toothpicks (battered deep fried onions and jalapenos) YUUUUMMM. they fried food was golden brown and served hot! Burgers were a good size, had flavor and were juicy. Overall we enjoyed the experience, plus it was even better that we got to take the food lakeside with wonderful views! This restaurant is also a supply store for the local campers and boaters so a huge bonus!!!"
"Love this place - Laurie is always nice and has good suggestions. It's a hometown feel and food"
"Busy Sunday morning, got us seated within 5 mins ... big portions and delicious food . Very friendly service , enjoyed our time !"
"Such a great little place! Walked here from the nearby campground and had such a great experience. I wish I could remember my waitresses name but she was beautiful and so sweet! And a great waitress as well. We were just passing through but I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you have the chance"
"When traveling we like to stop at local eateries. Amanda's does not disappoint. It's in the downtown in a quaint older building with high tin ceilings. The food is honest and good. I had the bierock and onion soup. The meat filling and dough were in perfect proportion. The filling uses a generous amount of caraway seed. Make sure you like that flavor which I do. Hubs had the roast beef panini and chips. He said the beef was a high quality. Service was friendly. We will return next time in town!"
