"I came here on a Wednesday around noon after a work event nearby at Stillwater Medical Center along with my coworkers. I'm from the Edmond/OKC area, but have never been to Stillwater before. I was excited to finally get some of the very popular Eskimo Joe's merch, and snagged a hoodie and sweater. I didn't realize how huge Eskimo Joe's is! This restaurant is connected to a merch/souvenir-type store fully stocked with everything and anything OSU, Eskimo Joe's, and Oklahoma gear. The store staff members were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great food and service. The group I came with ordered the regular cheese fries and bacon cheese fries. The fries came with ranch and were delicious. A few coworkers who were with me have been here quite a few times because their children go to college at OSU, so they gave me some recommendations. I ordered the Classic Joe burger. This came with a choice of side, and I got the pasta salad with Italian dressing. The pasta salad was underwhelming, but the burger was very satisfying. I appreciated that the bun didn't fall apart and kept all of the inside together.A couple of my coworkers ordered the chicken sandwiches. The chicken breast pieces were huge, but tough. Overall I had a great experience and would come back again and maybe try some cocktails and more menu items - probably will avoid the chicken sandwiches!"
"In addition to popping up in my research of Topeka, The Wheel Barrel was also recommended by a local shop owner. We walked in and chose a seat at the far end of the first dining area. A table with a booth on the side against the wall, and chairs on the other side. We started with an appetizer of the House seasoned kettle chips and craft beer queso. It was goooood. The chips were SO good, we actually took the ones we didn't finish with us to go. Next, we ordered our sammiches. My wife chose the Award Winning Monte Cristo, and I went with The Kansan. My wife loved her sammich. But mine... well, mine left me momentarily speechless. The cheese pull was insane! Every single ingredient combined for an incredible flavor explosion in my mouth. Without a doubt one of the best sammiches I've ever had. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. We were visiting from California, but would absolutely return to The Wheel Barrel the next time we visited Topeka."
Boneless chicken breast marinated in our signature spicy hot Buffalo wing sauce, charbroiled and served on a toasted, sweet sourdough bun with choice of a side. Spicy.

"Restaurant/pub located in downtown Wichita.A few locals recommended this spot so we checked it out for Sunday brunch. Bottomless mimosas are apparently against the law in Wichita but they do offer $5 mimosas. There is also a great selection of bourbons and beers. We started with the goat cheese peppers which were amazing. They guys had the wings which they said were excellent with some spice. For my meal I had the pork Mac and cheese. Two people could definitely split this. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly."
"The vibe is awesome! Cozy booths, great service! Steven the bartender was our server and he was such a Joy to have! They accommodated my crazy food requests and everything was delightful!!! Would go back in a heartbeat."
"This is the most divine place to eat, in west wichita. The crab cakes, are out of this world. The drink menu is incredible. The atmosphere is romantic and classy and beautiful. The service is professional and friendly. I love this place. Truly, the best."
"Belmont, was great in every aspect and then the music was amazing! Nice place to sit, chat, eat and just chill!"
"Excellent Italian place!Came here for a quick lunch.1) Place is clean, welcoming, and classy.2) Waitress was very friendly and very attentive.3) Food: Appetizers and Main Courses were excellent! We ordered several pasta dishes, appetizers, Eggplant Parmesan... and more. The cheesy bread was excellent.I will be returning to this place next time we are in town. Please give them a try!"
"Good diverse menu. A little bit pricey for what you get. Fun atmosphere and good service. We have yet to eat here in the day, so we haven't been able to watch the airplanes. We've only enjoyed the food.I don't know if on our first visit the cook was sick, but the chicken and the chicken nachos and on the chicken salad was tough and chewy and completely unflavored. On our second visit, we fared much better. The foods that seemed the most appreciated or the Reuben sandwich, the onion rings, the chicken sandwich, and the hand breaded chicken tenders."
"I arrived around 7:30 to place my to-go order. I was promptly greeted and ordered. The waiter was very helpful. The restaurant was neat and clean. Very beautiful decor. My food was ready in a reasonable amount of time and looked and smelled delicious. We got two solo bowls and wow wow shrimp. The food was fresh, veggies were crisp. We loved the flavor and will be back. Thank you."
"Best sandwich in Manhattan. It's not even a competition. Small shop with a tiny kitchen, but it's worth the wait."
"I came here for dinner on Monday 6/3/2019. Food was delicious and service was great!! I ordered the #6 taco/enchilada combination, my hubby ordered shrimp cocktail and for dessert we had fried ice cream! The interior is pretty neat too with decorations and wall art! I definitely recommend to others and will be back!"
"Growing up in Kansas City, Stroud's was an all time favorite. While this isn't the Oak Ridge Manor location, it is a taste of home. We were able to sit right down, as there were only a few patrons in the restaurant. The food was wonderful, service was great. Will continue to visit when we are passing through Wichita."

This was my very first time to eat at an Eskimo Joes. I am a long time wearer of their tee shirts. In my 20s and 30s, I had relatives going to OSU. Each Christmas, I would get a new E J tee shirt. About the time one sister in law graduated, another would start. After years of advising for them by wearing their T shirts, I finally had lunch at Eskimo Joe's. I learned a lot today. All these years, I have been laboring with the false idea that Eskimo Joes is a pizza place. No pizza. It's more of a burger place. Move it in day is probably not the best day to evaluate the restaurant. We were there to help our grandson get moved in to his dorm. The university was packed with students and their parents, grandchildren, and grandparents helping them get moved in to their dorm. We knew wherever we had lunch, there would be a long wait. At least we got to spend our wait time in their merchandise room. It gave us something to do. Today was my first time to get cheese fries. It's never sounded good to me someone else ordered them and I discovered fries make a better base for nachos than chips. My husband and grandson got classic burgers, my daughter got a blackened chicken dinner, and my son in law and I got Little Joe burgers. I had decided that the classic burger is a better deal because it comes with fries and lettuce and tomatoes. I like small burgers but I have to have lettuce and tomatoes. My Little Joe burger had no lettuce and tomato ... just meat and a bun. My son in law explained that he gets the Little Joe because it has onions cooked into the meat. I decided he was right. The meat in a little Joe does taste much better. I had a bite of my husband's classic and the onion cooked with the meat is much better. My grandson took his lettuce and tomato off his classic because he doesn't like lettuce and tomato on his burgers. He gave it to me, so I was happy. The blackened chicken was too salty and not spicy enough. The French fries were greasy and not good. We ate them, anyway. It might be that they are much better when the restaurant is not as busy. I will give them another try. We will be going to Stillwater frequently to see take our grandson to lunch. I will post an update on the fries.

We absolutely loved this place! We came here on a Monday afternoon for a late lunch before we had to go to the airport. We would have loved to get some bourbon but thought that might not be wise before our flight. So we got a beer...my husband got an IPA and I got a stout called Buffalo Sweat (that made me literally LOL).Our waitress was Julia and she was just lovely! She recommended the green beans and the Wilbur. We got both, along with the loaded sweet potato tots. The Wilbur was ok, the tots were great, but the green beans were the best thing we had on our week long vacation! My local bar at home has them and I used to love them but now I don't know if I can ever eat them again because I'll be comparing them to the Monarch! And Julia also made us a list of her favorite shops and other places to go for us to visit on next trip! Top notch! We were very happy with the ambiance, the service, and the food. The value was excellent. We look forward to returning to this establishment when we come back to Wichita.

Food and service were great But it was noisy, it was hard to hear each other. They need some kind of noise absorption there.

"I've heard mixed reviews about this place so I had to try it out myself. I ordered a ton of to-go food for an early Father's day to eat at home with my dad. I ordered 5 lbs of crawfish, 1 lb of snow crab legs, 1 lb of shrimp (head on), and 1 lb of clams. All mixed with the "Blue Hook All-In Sauce" at a "hot" spice level. I spent $155.34 for all of this.Let's start with their special sauce. If I had to describe it in one word, it would be bland. The "hot" was not hot at all. Also, I assumed I was getting live cooked crawfish, but unfortunately, it was frozen. The meat was so dry and tough. No flavor at all. Horrible. The snow crab legs, shrimp, and clams were solid. For some reason, the sauce was more flavorful in those bags. The potatoes were undercooked. The sausages were OK. The corn was on point though. Perfectly cooked with a nice bite and not that soggy mess you get with some boils. Out of all things, the corn was the star of the show. Very sad. In summary, would I come back? That would be a solid no. The crawfish was a let down and the majority of the food was bland. I would stay away from here if you are looking for flavor. But if you're into bland frozen crawfish, come here."
"In June of 2019, I participated in Biking Across Kansas and Holton was our last overnight before our eighth and final day of riding into Atchison. I was so taken by the friendliness of the people of the quaint town, I have wanted to revisit it ever since. So, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, we took the top off of the Jeep and took some back roads to Holton from our home in Lenexa. Being Sunday, businesses on the town square were closed but Boomer's, just a block or so off the square, was open.My wife had the broasted chicken special and I ordered a cheeseburger. Service was good, although a large group seemed to have disrupted things a bit. Food was served promptly, hot and tasty. We split a piece of their strawberry pie--outstanding!If ever in Holton again, we'd definitely stop in."
"This bar and grill has been an icon in Enid as far back as I can remember. I couldn't wait to be old enough to go in and get a beer and burger.Years later, I visited and took my husband so he could enjoy the famous chili burger. I even bought a t-shirt! The prices are really reasonable. I would come here before going to a chain for a burger. The beer is cold, the pool tables are ready for you to drop by and shoot a game or two. There was even a sign on the table boasting a hot link sandwich special. This go around, my sister and I took dad. He really enjoyed the chili burger. My sister left the chili and onions of of hers. I had a large glass of tea this visit. Next time I come in, I'm going to work KY way through the menu!"
"Made a quick stop in for some dessert after lunch, I've been here before but we had a few first timers. It's always a tough choice on which cookie bake To get, I think the chocolate chip is the best but sometimes you're just in the mood for hot Apple pie à la mode, and the oatmeal cinnamon apple is the closest thing. It did not disappoint. Hot and melted and sugary delicious. Definitely a stop for someone with a sweet tooth. Will definitely be"
"We stopped here twice in the matter of being in Kansas for about three days! We first stopped in for lunch and were all impressed with the quality of food and loved the atmosphere. Tanner's burgers are called "Booga's" which is a fun take on a classic! I got the Turkey Booga which comes with guacamole, which I asked for on the side, and the traditional choice of cheese and lettuce. I opted for the sweet potato waffle fries as my side with some spicy ranch. The Turkey Booga was so juicy and flavorful it didn't need any extras such as guacamole. The fries were perfectly crisp and served in a rather large portion. We all enjoyed our food and the atmosphere that we stopped by again before we left just to get some drinks. They also let you keep their cute logo'd cups!"
"Went there for lunch. We were the 3rd table of customers for the day. I had the Expresso Burrito... fantastic! Chips and salsa was delicious. Everything was wonderful except for the service. I'm thinking they were just having a bad day because the electricity flashed right before they took our order. We'll definitely go again next time we travel through."
"I am not a big breakfast person...UNTIL NOW!! My sister in law and I got the French Toast and sausage....a very basic meal. The FT seemed to be double battered and amazing. The sausage...I WANT MORE!! My brother got the Spanish omelet. The omelet and potatoes covered the plate. I would have liked the coffee to be a little stronger. The service was wonderful. I was visiting for four days...can't wait to go back!!"
"We go here for crab legs. The sides are average tasting but the crab is so good. You cannot beat it for the price. Perfection!"
"This location in the 1051N. Broadway is not closed. The food and service is as great as always. Go! Support!"
"This is a bar, but steak night in Thursday is awesome! C9oked to perfection, just as good as any steakhouse. Mine came with asparagus and baked potato. Hubby had an Octoberfest craft beer. Our plates were the same. No wonder he comes in every Thursday. A good price for the plate!"
"I took my wife here on a date about a week ago. The Horchata is fresh and absolutely amazing. The server was kind, friendly, and super helpful. The ambience is friendly and inviting. The food was great. I would definitely eat here again."
"Was a Sunday evening when I stopped by for a quick bite to eat. Staff - as another reviewer noted - were not too keen to help. They were happy to stand around and chat. To make matters worse they could not fix us any margaritas as the machine was broken.Food was about what one can expect from a fast-casual chain. Might be better options if you are driving through Hays."
"This place was good. We started with the onion strings on the appetizer section. They were delicious and lightly battered. There was more than enough for a family of four to share and have leftovers. I had the chipotle cream cheese burger. It was also great. Spicy, but flavorful and not overly spicy. Just enough where you might need sip here and there to cool your mouth off. The home made french fries were the best. I love real fries. My kids had the chicken strips and were satisfied with the freshness and size of them. I tried one and it was perfectly cooked and not the kind you get out of a box. Finished with the fried Oreos. They would have been excellent but a little bit of the batter was still gooey in the middle so it kind of scared me, maybe they were made with eggs? Semonila?? Idk I just had the kids eat the oreo and cooked parts. Not enough to lose a star. The waiter was very nice and answered all of my annoying questions."
"What a great stumble-upon! We came here and I was instantly portaled into a movie scene of a cowboy lover's restaurant! It's soooo cool! Can't find something like this in Hawaii! The owner shared a story with us, and our waitress was an angel. The food was really good!"
"Food was hot, well seasoned, and came out fast. The restaurant was clean, had well designed decor, and friendly staff. The prices were slightly on the higher side but for decent tex mex food with decent service, be willing to pay higher than taco truck prices."
"Ribs are very good bit must come early. Other meals very good too. Beer and Pepsi products."
"Best Bloody Mary Ever!!! I give the awesome food a two thumbs up as well. I had The roasted pork lo-mein, outstanding! We also made room for dumplings and egg rolls. I'm looking forward to making this my new favorite!!! House lo mein special was delicious! Coming back"
"A friend and I popped in here seeking refuge from a torrential rainstorm on a Saturday night. I don't normally like being in a bar that has a band playing, but this place did it right. Not only was there no cover (a big plus), the music was as loud as it needed to be and no louder. It was possible to both hear the music and be able to have a normal, non-shouting conversation.More bars should take a lead from this when they have a band!Despite the crowd we were served quickly and enjoyed the music and people while waiting to dry off."
"This is a neat place in Old Town in Wichita. Being outdoors, it comes alive in the summer with the good weather, and it is next to the Public Restaurant (see my review). It plays live music and the bands are pretty good. There is an outdoor bar, and you can get into Public through a side door so if the outside bar is busy, you can go inside and get your drink.I like going there once a month or something like that during the good season when I'm in Wichita."
"Great sports bar with good food! Group on Sat lunch. Great service. All very pleased with fries and their sandwiches. I had a large outstanding pork tender. Coke products and bear. Lots of TV's. Parking lot parking. Near HW75 North of the Kansas river. Well worth the travel."
"Stopped by going through I49 on vacation. It was okay, food isn't really that much different from other Mexican restaurants. The place was clean, and server was knowledgeable and attentive. We had grandkids with us and they loved the Mexican fried ice cream. Parking was easy, great access to I49 so didn't have to get off our path too far to enjoy a good meal."
"The Loft 150 is a cool hangout spot for friends or your significant other. The Loft 150 has all the beers from the downstair River City Brewing's crafts. In addition, there is 2 basketball coin machines, a stage, balcony outdoor seating, bar with additional beers, all of the spirits, and great drink specials.Wednesday's are the best night to get a weekday $3.50 big beer flagship brew and an $8 delicious thin crust pizza of your choice. Friday's and Saturday's sometimes has live music or a DJ. Admission can run up to $10. If you're already there early for dinner you don't have to pay the cover."
"It's a nice enough place. Not nearly as much of a dive as I expected based on my visits over a decade ago. They have cleaned up quite a bit. I love the location and general atmosphere aside from the smoke smell that permeates everything here. So if you're a nonsmoker, asthmatic, or person who doesn't want to wash cigarettes out of your clothes and hair when you get home, steer clear. I learned this the hard way.The menu is standard burger fare and this is definitely more of a bar first, restaurant second. I didn't eat the food on my recent stop here but my friends raved about the fried mushrooms which were a large portion and seemed to be made fresh in house. The grilled chicken sandwich looked good too. Great live music on a weeknight and I liked that the staff didn't seem to mind a few of us just coming to talk and listen to the music. I'd return."
