"My bonus son is attending college at Friends University from out of state. The first week of arriving in Kansas, he started having some issues with his low beam lights malfunctioning and we needed it taken care of immediately. Yost Auto Service went above and beyond their call of duty to take care of him. I am very grateful that we now have a place that we can rely on for future issues that might occur. Thank you, Yost, for the top notch service!"
"Great service. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Good price for full synthetic too at $60"

Yost is incredible for many reasons, but the reasons they are top notch to me are as follows: 1. Ever discover a foul stench in your vehicle? Well Yost has the strongest stomachs to deal with even the most foul of stenches (in my case a turkey log). They stayed in contact providing me constant updates throughout the mess during the heat of the summer to resolve the stench. 2. They were able to squeeze in a friend of mine (who was driving cross country) to do a quick fix before they continued their journey. 3. They are all around a great company to work with and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new auto service shop!

I've dealt with Tracy's automotive 3 times now. All three have been tire related. Just recently, I had a set of BRAND NEW, IN THE BOX, CUSTOM MACHINED wheels. I waited 9 weeks for these wheels. They were supposed to be machined and assembled in 4 weeks, but there was a delay in the powder coating process that set my order back by 5 weeks. I needed tires from my old wheels swapped onto my new wheelsI went to Tracy's because a lot of the Porsche guys were raving about how this place can mount low profile tires on rims without any major nicks or scratches. Low profile like 30 series or lower. Porsche's run low profile tires as well so I figured "ehh, maybe these guys are up for the job." The first 2 times were with my old rims. They were old and seen better days because of daily driving. The first time I dealt with Tracy's, a guy named Aaron was kind enough to show me the Hunter tire machine. I think it was the same one I dealt with back when I was in auto tech school. Except Tracy's machine had plastic covers on the clamping jaws and a plastic cover to slip over the lever bar.The reality is that I don't have an awesome fully-auto and leverless tire mounting machine. I'm the average Joe that gets tires every few years or so. By seeing some of the protective measures that these guys take, I was a little more at ease in knowing that my wheel would be okay. Let's face it, a 30 series tire is not EASY to mount and dismount. I've never done one, but think about it - a 30 series tire is literally a rubber band. Look at how thin the side wall is. Now add in the fact the tire I needed mounted was going on a 9.5inch wide wheel. So yeah, mounting and dismounting this tire would be difficult. The wait-room has coffee, drinks, a nearby pizza shop which is literally just through a door, and a TV. Oh, and also a clear view of the working bays. When I brought my BRAND NEW, custom machined, 3 piece wheels to Tracy's I clearly stated that I wanted NO DAMAGE on the rim. These guys weren't defensive at all when I requested that. To be honest, I was a little concerned though mainly because the wheels were literally BRAND SPANKING NEW with no scratches. These things still had protective wrap on the lips!As I unloaded the wheels from my truck, I brought them into the tire mounting area. The techs were kind enough to show me the equipment again. I saw the protective covers on the clamping jaws and the tech that helped unload them stated that he would put some micro-fiber cloth on top of the protective jaws for an added layer of protection. The tech that ended up doing the tire mounting was a guy named Doug. I ended up waiting almost 1.5 hours for the job to be completed, but I was patient and every time the techs would stop in the waiting room they'd inform me of the progress that was being made. Things like "He's almost done. He has one more to finish up." Or "He was having a hard time dismounting the tire from one of the old wheels, but he is getting there. It'll be just a little bit." I didn't ask for these updates, but the techs were kind enough to provide them to me. This was greatly appreciated. Upon completion, the service advisor took me back to the area and had me inspect the wheels. I talked with the Doug and got his thoughts on the job. He stated that he'd done 30 series tires before and that it did pose a challenge, but he was up for it. I inspected the wheels and found SMALL SMALL imperfections. These were things I could live with because let's face it - the equipment has been used plenty of times and there may be some small pebbles or debris that could leave some small scratches. Luckily these imperfections were on the polished outer lip and I was able to use some aluminum wheel polish to clear them up.Other imperfections were in areas that would never be seen like on the back side of the wheel. I could clearly see the imperfections because the inner barrel of my 3 piece rim was black. Could I live with these small imperfections? Yes, of course because I DON'T KNOW, but I do UNDERSTAND how hard it is to mount and dismount a 30 series tire that does not want to stretch over a 9.5inch wide rim. And since these wheels were going on a daily driver, they were going to see the elements of nature and the road. The only way these wheels would come out imperfection free is if 1. They were just hanging up on a rack or wall looking pretty or 2. Using a Hunter Revolution or Auto34 fully-automatic and leverless tire changer, but the reality is that these wheels were going on a vehicle that was going to be driven in fall, summer, spring, and see the elements of the road and nature. As an avid auto enthusiast, and DIY gear head, I appreciate the efforts and protective measures taken by Tracy have to keep my wheels in good shape during tire mounting. Every time I have called for pricing or came in for tire service they have been nothing, but welcoming, honest, and sincere. A testament to great customer service!
