"Now managed by Case & Associates. The worst apartment management company I have ever done business with. These apartments had issues before they were sold to Case & Associates. So it's an even worse situation than before. The resident standards have gone down and riffraff are now invading this community. Also, the apartments have major structural issues. They were built very cheaply so get used to hearing everything your neighbors do. Everything. Not kidding here. The noise issue is structural and more worse than anything you have probably ever been exposed to in an apartment."
"The staff here is unprofessional, and borderline incompetent. On top of this the whole complex is falling apart, so when it eventually happens to you, maintenance more than likely won't be able to get to it for days. I was beginning to think the staff just severely disliked me, until I noticed how many people were in the office trying to terminate their lease (for which the penalties are unfair). Crime has also become an increasing problem, I was assaulted and the officer that filed my case told me there has been an increase in burglaries and crime in general, within the actual complex itself. Do yourself a favor and do not sign a lease here. Even when I moved in, my apartment was disgusting, filth all over the walls, crusty carpet, broken fixtures and cabinets. After the management supposedly sent the cleaning crew up here THREE times, I decided I would just clean it myself. These people will be welcoming and do their best to convince you this is a nice place to live, but once that lease is signed you are nothing to them. I just today prematurely ended my lease because of harassment by another tenant and the management refused to believe me, so I will be living here for the next 2 months, and hopefully make it out of the hell hole in one piece. Once again, DO NOT MOVE HEREAlso, by the way, the lovely pictures shown on the yelp page are the front office, the apartments are not so great looking. Not terrible, but not great."
"I lived here for two years. When we moved in, it was apparant that even though we were given new carpeting, they didn't change the pads. In several places circular stains would appear in the carpet if given enough time. The location is excellent, within stumbling distance of Old Town and right next to the river and the park, there is nothing to complain about there. The only complaint I really have about the apartment is that it does have paper thin floors. I have been living in apartments for several years now and this one takes the cake for the least volume absorption from above or below. I guess their theory is that nothing brings neighbors closer together than enduring every party, arguement or intimate moment they have. It wasn't that they were overly loud, it's just anything over a volume level of 9 on a television set could be heard almost clearly by your neighbors. For an inexpensive apartment, Villa Del Mar is not bad at all. I would reccomend it as long as you have the right temperment."
"Worst place to stay if you want a $300 power bill! Insulation is the worst and would not recommend this apartment complex! Don't let the high rent fees fool you to think you're paying for a quality built apartment because your not. Here's free advice...Seek life else where!"
"Just moved in a month ago and I am loving it! Great space and very affordable and so convenient! Manager Kim is exc"
"Not a ideal place to live. Was only there a few months and found out we had mice in the walls, they had chewed through the Sheetrock in the closets. I put out traps one night and within 3 hours I caught 4 mice. We broke the lease and got out ASAP after the office told us they would not fix the issue. Don't waste your time here."
"Marina point has excellent staff that will attend to every issue a resident submits. It is centrally located in Wichita and close to pretty much everything. The views are excellent due to be located in between the Arkansas River and a privately owned marina. There is an adjacent walking trail next to the river for families to take an evening walk or a jogger trying to maintain fitness. Marina Point is highly recommended."
"Old and lack of update or basic care. I lived there twice in the same unit. Nothing had been fixed in 8 years. Carpet was worn and on the stairs, you constantly cut your feet on the tacks sticking through. The trash is always overflowing and blowing everywhere, definitely a health hazard. Paid parking is a joke because people park in your space & nothing is really done about it. They make up charges and send a huge bill once you move out. I would NEVER live there again. Worst place I have ever lived. I would give negative stars if I could."
"I don't ever write reviews, but I had to for this place. Don't do it! I lived here for 18 months while I was finishing college. Many of my friends lived here as well and most of us all moved out within a 6 month time frame. I had an updated apartment, when I tell you my kitchen sink flooded my kitchen every 3 months. I had mold everywhere that ruined tons of my stuff and sometimes it took days for the emergency plumber to come. Now, I've had to go in that office more times than a few because no one in that office is ever on the same page.Moving out has been the worse process. First off, someone left a note on my door saying rent is going up "whether you're in a lease or living month to month" ... I was trying to find a way to take the letter seriously since it's illegal to go up on someone's rent when they're in a lease and when I asked the office staff if that's illegal they agreed and said someone had worded the letter badly. When you move out you're going to get hit with tons of charges because this apartment complex is scraping by and needs money. Now I never expect to get my deposit back with any complex, but the charges were ridiculous and no one can explain them to you correct. My friends who moved out prior to me moving out were still getting calls from the complex trying to collect rent months later. I also moved out in the middle of the month and when I asked for my rent prorated the manager claimed that they didn't prorate rent, but other people in the office claimed they did. Right now I'm battling with the office and a collections company for this bill that was supposed to be reversed and no one wants to answer my calls. I moved to Texas and pay twice the amount of rent I paid there, but with 1/2 the issues. Now I've kept record of everything that has happened since the first day I moved in, I have every letter, photos/videos of every incident and record anytime I have a conversation."
"These apartments were alluring to me for two reasons: They were relatively inexpensive and they allowed large dogs. The first quality turned out to be a farce. The apartments are way too expensive for what you have to deal with. The neighborhood is awful. There is constant crime. In the first six months of living at these apartments, my apartment was broken into, my car was broken into (twice) and my license plate was stolen off my car. There are constantly sketchy people walking around late at night so if you're a woman you have no way to feel safe in the neighborhood. I don't think they really conduct the background checks they say they do because I see a drug deal happening in the back of the complex on an almost weekly basis. Although the police precinct is right down the street, the neighborhood is still unsafe. On top of that, the management is extremely unprofessional. I have several things that are in need of fixing right now and I have called management for two months about it. The maintenance people are fantastic if you talk straight to them, but if you call the office the message is never relayed. There are always leaks and flooding and the sinks constantly clog. The apartments are not energy-efficient at all, so in the winter heating bills are through the roof. The apartments are loud and you can hear people stomping at all hours of the night. The two redeeming qualities are that the maintenance people get on flooding immediately (which is good because it happens so often) and the apartments allow large dogs (I don't think they even really check to see if people have pets, honestly). If this place looks like a decent deal to you, don't be fooled. It's more trouble than it's worth to save a few bucks."
"This apartment is unsafe. I would not live recommend living here to my worst enemy. The building has issues with water leakage and severe mold. We live in a two bedroom apartment and the second bedroom is covered in mold. They will come and wipe it off but they argue that mold is not dangerous on your health. My dogs have started to have allergic reactions to what we assume is the mold and another tenant told us that she found mold growing on her mattress when she moved out. We have felt sick here for months and get headaches every day. This apartment building should honestly be shut down."
"We've lived here over a year. The staff and property managers are always nice and get our work orders dine fast. We would move back any time!!Yes we do have a lot of spiders! But: it's super humid state and if you live on the ground floor it's nature. You will have to ask for lore spraying."

The management can be dealt with as long as you don't cross them. The real issue is the structural integrity of the buildings. I can deal with rude tenants but when they slam the doors (any door) the walls shake and windows rattle. Living on the second floor when tenants on either side walk the floor bounces up and down to the point I'm motion sick. I've lived in lots of other apartments and have never experienced anything like this. I do not recommend!

The apartments are older but clean. The grounds needed to be mowed, but I can live with that. These are good sized and relatively inexpensive apartments. They are under new management. My son rented an apartment there and I was shocked to see the reviews. I cannot speak to the past, but Benjamin, the property manager there, was outstanding. He was friendly and accommodating; stayed late, did everything he promised, plus some. Give them a chance. I do not think you'll be disappointed.

"I have lived here for about a month and I love it. The price is great, the people are great! My door and door frame was messed up and them came over multiple times till it was 100% fixed which I really appreciated since it took coming out a few times. Highly recommend this apartment if your looking for quality and a good price. (only down fall is that it isn't that updated, but not horrible!)"
"I have so many wonderful things to say about ReNew. While looking for hotels to stay in during my Wichita stay, I luckily came across ReNew. It become instantly clear that I must stay there. I booked for Monday-Friday and was very happy with the reasonable rate. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the spaciousness, modern style and cleanliness. Basic needs were also provided, including olive oil and laundry detergent, which was an amazing additional touch. It felt like I was walking into a friend's apartment that let me stay over, which provided a sense of home. I felt comfortable and happy for my stay, always looking forward to returning for the evening. Travel plans changed and ended up extending my stay. I emailed customer service and Faye helped me at 11pm to book for a few more nights. I was highly impressed by the generosity. Customer service was extremely helpful each time I contacted them, which added to the lovely experience. Overall I can't say enough nice things about my stay here. Thank you for providing such an amazing experience!"
"I have lived in this complex for 2 years. Prior to this complex I lived in 5 others. This is by far, the best place I've lived in. When I rate it, I'm considering everything from the quality of living to the trash service. The maintenance team is fantastic! They respond quickly and are thorough with repairs. At my renewal they had to raise rent that year, but in return they made 4 upgrades to my apartment as well as cleaning the carpets and touching up the paint on the walls. The windows and siding are great, my apartment never gets drafty in the winter. There's plenty of parking and they have garages too. They made a handicapped spot for me to park my van for my disabled daughter and they were super quick about it. The onsite storage is a great help and it's super affordable. Neighbors aren't great anywhere, but here most of them stick to themselves which is great! They use a security company that actually shows up (most complexes say that but you never see it). The location is perfect. Jason's Deli delivers FOR FREE. They offer pretty much every emenity. Here you get a beautiful AND affordable home. Awesome company. Great place to live. Tell them I sent you! :)"
"I absolutely love living at Hearth Hollow! Everyone in the office is great anytime you go in there, everyone in the complex is super sweet! Plus, my dog loves the doggy park! I haven't had any problems at all since I moved in, so that's wonderful!"
"Quiet neighborhood. Clean apartment community and great staff..would recommend to anyone looking for a new place to call home."
"This place has absolutely the worst customer service ever! Ghetto/unprofessional is not even appropriate for the woman/men that work in that office. It has never been pleasant. The maintenance never gets done. Took 3 1/2 months to get a dishwasher, 2 months to get a microwave and not to mention been in the place 6 months and still haven't gotten blinds fixed.Say that pit bulls aren't allowed yet have seen multiple residents have them but now I am the victim and getting evicted.Harassing tenants, calling 6 times while at work. Throwing trash on the balcony to say it's the tenant and it's not! DO NOT RENT HERE."
"Jerome was very helpful in getting us all the information that we needed. We are very thankful that he got us in and out every time without hours of wait. He is amazing at his job and i do recommend him!"
"Great location and management is just wonderful. Beautiful apartments and spacious. Couldn't ask for a better place to live. It's home!"
"Mr. Murphy,(my best friend & trusted American Cocker Spaniel) and I moved into Crown Chase Apartments in October of 2017. There front end staff are "second to none" and getting settled was a seamless process. It is a quiet complex with security gates that close at night. Pet friendly. Grounds are well maintained. Apartments are up to date. Maintenance requests are handed in a timely manner. I Highly Recommend Crown Chase Apartments as a Great traditional or long term apartment housing experience for you. We enjoyed our time with them. Rick - "Go Hawks""
"I've lived here for 1 year and just renewed my lease for a 2nd year!I was not sure about signing a lease here because a lot of online reviews were not great. However, the property renovations I think have made it a lot nicer than it must have been when those reviews were written. The new management team is excellent - they are very responsive and professional. An accident caused some minor flooding in my apartment, and even though it was 11pm, Someone still showed up to check out the damage and start repairs/services to fix it right away.As far as the renovations - it's obvious the apartments were not "gutted" and redone (some things like cabinets might show signs of wear), but they are still very nice and updated with newer appliances, paint, flooring, etc. Pest control even comes out to spray for bugs. Maintenance and Management have always been helpful to me and were patient to answer any questions I had. They notify you of anything important by email or with a note on your door.I have always felt safe here as well (if you are worried about crime or anything). I have had no issues with mold, theft, or bugs (all problems I have had in previous apartments!)I rate 4 stars because Honestly, there might be newer, bigger, better apartments out there - BUT for the price, quality service, renovations, and location - Sundance is more than worth it. Great place to live! Would recommend to anyone. If you're looking for a nice, comfortable, friendly place with the things that really matter in an apartment, You'll find it at Sundance."
"After viewing a model apartment, we, my bf, lease lady, and myself were walking back towards the club house when she just stopped and started talking to tenant for a good 5 mins. I thought this was highly unprofessional and quite rude, so we left and never came back. From what I heard prior to our viewing, this place has terrible management. After that viewing, I couldn't agree more."
"While we actually never lived at SunStone, we have been super pleased with our interactions with the staff there. We have a difficult situation and they were very kind and patient and willing to work with us to meet our needs as soon as something was available. We ended up buying a new house or else we would have for sure been living here. After months of searching we felt SunStone was the nicest apartment complex in all of Wichita. Thanks again to Noah, Jessica and Tanya for taking care of us!!"
"I absolutely love living in Innes Station I've lived here for a year and a half and I don't plan on moving out anytime soon. The apartments are huge like 900sq ft- 1600sq ft with 12ft height ceilings and higher in the Lofts. The front desk ladies are so nice and are very helpful. Especially Pam if it wasn't for her being so accommodating I don't think getting into this apartment could have be an option finically. I'm So thankful that I have amazing neighbors it's really a nice and big community in Innes Station. Reminds me that even in a small city like Wichita there's people that you don't even know looking out for you and will always have your back. P.S this building is super pet friendly I have two cats that I walk around the building daily with no issue at all. I guess all I can say is... if you love your animals or all animals in general, you'll be a great fit."
"They are wolves in sheep's clothing looking to take advantage of their next victim!!!! They'll make a fraudulent collection report against you if you try to move out when they don't fix anything!!!! They will suck every penny out of you!!! Do not move here black mold and bugs!!!!! My oven didn't get fixed for 3 months after moving in. My refrigerator broke approximately 5 times in a 6 month time span. The ceiling still leaks water after they said its fixed. No window screens on any of the windows. They are extremely rude and wont help you in any situation. My car got broken into twice my door handle was ripped off my car door. Lots of suspicious people dumpster diving and pushing around shopping carts in the middle of the night. My bicycle got stolen off my balcony. Not even 3 months ago a woman was sexually assaulted and beat with a hammer in the laundry room. Bed bugs inside of the building i lived in, i had to spray the bugs myself because they don't have anyone spray. Very sad place to live and I am happy im out of there. Not only after moving out I am haunted with a $2800 fraudulent lie on my credit report. Even after having health inspectors come and look at the inhabitable conditions. I've put up with alot living there and I really don't want anyone else to experience the amount of stress i had to put up living there..... PLEASE IF YOU'RE READING THIS DONT MOVE IN."
"I about to renew my lease after living at La Crosse for one year. I love it here. Not only are the leasing agents and management staff friendly and hard working but they truly do care about their residents and do whatever they can to make it a great place to live. I had to find an apartment from New Jersey under very stressful circumstances and they did everything they could to make it easy for me. I love the fact that they are pet friendly which is extremely hard to find here in Wichita for the quality of the apartments La Crosse has. There are always events going on and the pool is gorgeous. I am not 100% sure but I think that the previous review was written before a management change which has made me completely disagree with everything that was written. I have never seen a spider in my apartment or any other bug and an exterminator comes to spray often. Come and see La Crosse and I know you will be impressed!!"
"Beautiful apartment complex, many amenities. The maintenance staff is amazing and very quick to make any repairs. Office staff has always been friendly and accommodating."
"new management is doing great! This was a big change from last yrs management and it shows"
"I called apt. 1207 in this complex home for 5 years, throughout the undergrad and part of grad school. Liked it a lot but then it turned into projects... you'd wanna move out when cops show up regularly at your neighbors' apartments."
"Loved my apt at Horizon East. The staff there is excellent. Maintenance issues are taken care of right away. I did however have issues with hacking into my computers and phones through my wifi connection from neighbors. Moved to another property owned by the same company."
"lived here for two years almost. the first year was ok but then i moved to a one bedroom and had tons of bugs and mice that really wasn't taking care of unless i did it myself."
"First things first, found these apartments online and moved into them site unseen from Lawrence. I was impressed with the photos online as these apartments were going to be much better than the ones we were moving from. The pool was nice, and lots of space for dogs! I got to pick which floor, which way we face, and even the kitchen colors (huge bonus). We moved in quick and noticed a lot of 'things' were untouched - we had crooked tiles, paint chips, scratched cabinet doors, missing caulking etc. These are all fine since it's a rental but we pay a boat load to live there I wanted it to be nice. They fixed the majority of the 'things'. These units are brand new. We were the first to live in our unit so that was huge. Moving on to maintenance...our master bed room flooded during a heavy rain storm. I called the office and they said that couldn't do anything about it while it was still raining. So after the rain stopped I called again to have them come check it out. The office advised maintenance had already been to our unit on that day; which was false as I worked from home back then. So it rained again and the window kept flooding and the apartment did nothing about it. A few weeks later after back and forth with the office I over heard some of the maintenance crew call me "the window bitch." In addition maintenance rolls around on their golf carts with disregard for tenants. I witnessed my husband have to maneuver around a golf cart quickly as the maintenance guy whipped out in front of him. The guy proceeded to park his cart, get out, and provoke my husband to fight. The garbage situation is terrible. There are not enough dumpsters for the complex. It is always overflowing. One of the maintenance team members drives a black mustang and he speeds through the parking lot on trash day (actually everyday) opening and closing the big doors for the trash pick up. No one picks up dog poop. Ever. Inside of your unit: the A/C or heat runs constantly and is so loud. The return vent is a monster and literally will drown out the sound of your TV music or wake you up from a dead sleep. Our energy bill was always high - $125 a month at least. The water bill was cheap."
"I live there and gotta say, I'm happy with my living situation there. Anytime I've had a repair issue, it was handled quickly. Manager is reasonable and talks to the residents. Large parking lot and very quiet. There's a park right next door and right smack in the middle of everything."
"If I could do zero starts I would. Prior management was rude never fixed work orders. Now under new management we still have the issue. They refuse to fix up the carpets. They charge for everything under neath the sun you can't have a charcoal grill because they will charge you a $250 fee and then ask you to remove it. But they let teens destroy property. just in the year I have been here crime rate has gone up. the teens block the streets, so you can't go any where after 9pm. there has been multiple shootings by teens and adults. Also they charge an unconditional fee. They let people with dogs have them out without a leash and then everywhere you go there's dog poop. They expect the residents to do their job and call in people instead of doing it themselves. Also the contract is trash they block every possible reason of moving. If you end your lease they charge an early termination fee of almost $900 BUT THEN IT STATES THAT YOU WILL STILL BE LIABLE FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR EVEN IF YOU GIVE THEM 60 DAYS NOTICE. SO YOUR LOCKED IN THE CONTRACT NO MATTER WHAT."
