I was recommended to Buster's by a few locals in Coldwater, KS and I had to go check it out! It's such a cool old real cowboy/cowgirl bar! I spoke with Harry the owner and he gave me the tour and background of the city and bar that opened in 1946. The locals were super friendly to me considering I'm from California. Jessica the bartender was very sweet and I also met a few other folks and doggies. I ordered a vodka/cran and it was a perfect drink! Also ordered a steak and potato salad and it was delicious! Such a hidden gem and I highly recommend it on the offbeat path.

I've eaten here over the past several years and the new ownership has really improved the place. I had a great burger that was juicy. You could tell that the party was homemade and seasoned. The fries are also fresh cut and fried, so they taste different than fries from most places. The decor inside is unique, but that is just one of the many charming things about Buster's.

I am a fan of Buster's. The wife and I dropped in late Thursday nite. Harry, the proprietor, welcomed us in at the door, then returned to his recliner near the back. After our long day out in the gyp hills the cold fish bowel was welcomed. After recalling my previous trips to Busters with my wife (early 80's) I visited with Harry about the time between. He was friendly, informative and entertaining about the town, history and furnishings of the bar. All in all a nice evening.
