Average hotel, good price.Average looking, nothing special, Very white, bland, a cool statue in the middle of the hotel.Rooms are very standard. And average. Nothing wrong with this hotel though.We stayed here through the night coming back from a job.It has a recently remodeled room- nice.Old hotel, but renovated! Great rooms! Great location! Would stay again!Recommend.

Got here late and the price was very nice. View from outside also nice. Close look once in room not so nice. If you just need a place to sleep (that was us) this works.We did forget a jacket in room, called back twice speaking with two separate employees- one being manager. Never heard back anything on the jacket. That was frustrating! Faucet would not stop dripping, carpet tore up near door inside room and poor patching of walls in several places. Overall neither good or bad experience.

This was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. We were passing through Emporia and just needed a place to stay for one night. The room was cheap, the staff (husband and wife) was friendly, and everything worked. It was a basic room with a microwave and fridge. The tub and toilet in the bathroom were a striking blue color. If we are ever in this area again, I will make it a point to stay in this motel. The owners clearly take pride in this place.

For the price, this place is perfect. My room is always clean, comes with a fridge and a microwave and I love that I can keep an eye on my car during the night. The rooms vary in upgrades but I can honestly say that in every room that I've stayed in I have never found a bug and my room is always clean. I've had problems with other hotels that have bug issues so I always do a very thorough search and this place passes the test. Owners live on the property, this makes me feel safer since I travel alone. I highly recommend this place.

If you want a cheap room this is the place...the room was fairly clean and comfortable, but for the price, what do you expect? I just had a problem with the "smell"...but didn't really stink, but there was a "funk"...thank goodness we were there only one night
